now? do you see an escalation? do you see us getting drawn in? what does it mean for us? >> hopefully does not meet us getting drawn into anything. there's no reason for america to be directly involved in this conflict. especially if you hear people talking about americans potentially going to war against iran because of what iran is doing throughout the middle east. it's not necessary you can engage in that maximum pressure campaign and make iran largely irrelevant but ultimately defunding them. if you can do that and at and what israel has done by removing their leadership, what it can show it to america as you can actually remove some of these threats by means that are not just military israel was successful militarily but you can also reduce iran economically and through other means as well continue to push the abraham accords and the success of those have had

almost 30 inches of rain. when you get 30 inches or imagine the 30 inches where you are but have that ball across mountainous terrain's the gravity pulls it into the ravines and it floods very quickly but that's what we had all that damage while the power outages over 3 million homes across the southeast still without power. when you have that many homes is going to take a long time to get the power turned back on. this is the storm winding down. in their one -- 2 inches of rain across parts of kentucky and tennessee throughout the day but we have flood emergencies going on. never going to start to watch the caribbean again. western caribbean where helene form has a 40% chance of more tropical development as this disturbance began smith up into parts of the gulf. watch what happens. one of our models here you start to see this move by the time to get towards next weekend. we've got something right there moving up into parts of the central gulf. not thing is going to be what helene was where the active part of the season right now at another disturbance probably a week from now back in towards the gulf. back to you.

rachel: we are back with a foxbusiness contributor phil flynn. we have him back is here to discuss the strategic petroleum reserve which is at a 40 year low. you were just telling us before we lost you that the biden administration is misusing this reserve. explain. >> it is. this was a reserve that was basically built to protect the u.s. economy against oil price shocks. but president biden started to tap this reserve for political purposes. the first time he didn't, rachel, was to send a message to saudi arabia. he wanted to make saudi arabia a prior state. when they did not do his bidding by raising production he released oil to send them a message. that was purely political and it backfired probably lead to opecc production cuts at a cap global supplies low in cap prices high.

colleagues back at my alma mater at davidson college we saw how first amendment rights were not being respected. this is basically the secession of this to graduate school, to medical school. and literally, literally the worst profession i believe it can happen. you are seeing a dei being professed at the abuse of authority positions. not all in the med cap, curriculum, having to sign a fealty oath, to di, diversity, culture, professions are going through medical school. now remember, so many of these students want to be a certain type of physician or surgeon which takes good grades. unless you profess the ideology of these schools are professing that liberal progressive ideology you very well could have your grades her too. it is an absolute abuse of authority. we need to get politics out of medical school and get medicine and the care of every single patient. pete: let's get one example this

is at mount sinai and a court decision entered anesthesiology course is intended quote to provide students with the space for building critical thinking and community around social justice work. here is another one. this is from harvard and of the course description for integrated human and pathophysiology. it reads content that explores health, equity, anatomy, climate change, microbiology, pharmacology and pathology is integrated. i am no medical doctor but it would seem if i am a patient i'm not sure i want how climate change, i don't know what my doctor informed when i need something specific to my medical condition. >> a will, i am a surgeon. what people want from a surgeon is to do the best job for them inside. not to be a social activist. not to be someone who cares more about climate change than you do the patient in front of me. and will, let me put something as a caveat. ten years to melt medical

students come through and finish their residency, medicine in the united states is going to be in a horrible position. not only will we have a shortage of doctors which our institutes of medicine are now caring more about social justice than getting good students in medical school. we are going to have doctors that care more about social activism than they do about taking care of patients. these cultural wars that are occurring at the highest levels of medical education now are going to destroy american medicine and about a decade. >> the quality of patient and her healthcare. what we are getting we talked to a doctor the cost is scary on an individual basis for us as we visit a doctor. >> i've had a bull's-eye on my back since he put up the educate act and the pillars of institutional medicine those who can control medical schools have put out op-ed after op-ed attacking me i have dictated my life to taking care of patients that do not look like i do.
