it appears that team harris feels the white house is not doing enough to coordinate the president's messaging with the nominee's messaging. and there is more. the senior national correspondent itch reedison has details tonight. good evening. >> good evening, trace. it's a unique situation, the vice president taking over the one-term president's campaign operation. and now the relationship between vice president harris and president biden's teams is increasingly fraught. that's according to axios. >> she thought it was smart to say to all of them i'm keeping you. you can keep all your jobs. when you bring your advisor and kamala team, there will be some hurt feelings. >> the report says some on the vp team claim white house aides aren't aligning the president's schedule with harris with one complaining the white house is lacking someone thinking first and foremost about how things would affect the vp's campaign.

>> i think when vice president harris is on the stump and answering questions from reporters like brett and yourself every day and is answering to say i'm running as my own candidate. >> the campaign has enlisted the last three democrat presidents and family. presidents obama and clinton are on the trail and first lady jill biden has been out in pennsylvania and wisconsin. >> trace: thank you, rich. let's bring in rnc spokeswoman and former democratic candidate for senate here in california christina. they're the opposite but i mean they're both looking, you know, present on set here. former president bill clinton, it's kind of fascinating because he is talking about the murder which is a sore point for the democrats, and he brings up the bill, the immigration bill kamala harris keeps bringing up.

the bill than laken riley who would be alive right now if we did different policies and a different administration. we should be saying her name and not talking about a bill. >> trace: exactly right. meantime kamala harris' campaign, her guy was talking today saying there's a little bit of tension here between you and the biden thing. he didn't knock it down. he said this. watch. >> but look at harris. exact same positive score in that negative number almost in the same place, and this is it. the last time we polled this question after the debate -- >> greg: that wasn't it, but the life-threatening would line is he did not knock it down, christina, and it sounds like the answer when he was asked a couple of times was there's a little bit of friction because kamala is kind of flat lining, and when the campaign isn't going the way you want it to go as you know, there tends to be a little bit of friction , right. >> can create a little bit of

friction. i was watching when they were doing the briefing surrounding hurricane milton and there was clearly tension between the two. the president said thank you and vice president harris said actually we would like to talk more about this. so there is something and some sort of dynamic that is certainly happening there, and what does it mean? what is happening behind the scenes? it's hard to tell. but what i will say is behind a salacious headline perhaps, does it i am why pact voters and what they're going to do come november? i don't think so. >> trace: it impact the morale of the campaign. who have knows if it impact the voters, but for the campaign? here's steve. we have just played a little bit of it just to get the things warmed up here. steve talking about the harris lead washing away. let's play that one again. >> but look at harris. exact same positive score, and that negative number almost in the same place, and this is it. thest la time we polled this question after the debate, harris had really made up ground

in this area. look. she had a positive rating. 48-45. so that advantage has all in the last few weeks washed away. >> trace: hemorrhaging support. >> it's funny people say every time she opens her mouth she loses support but she's been the vice president four years, so she should have been speaking this entire time and hasn't been. it's interesting people are finally catching on to who she is trying to catch on to who governor walz really is, and every time they find out more, the poll numbers slip more. i think it's a sad reality. for them there's a reason she didn't win any votes and that's why she is where she is. >> trace: the impact of policies trump versus biden. have they helped or hurt? you have biden help 25% and you have trump help 44%. it is a big gap to fill in three weeks. >> well, we see that i ran as aic drank, so i will give you that counterpoint. we say her numbers are slipping.
8:10 pm
i actually think it's still neck and neck. it's very hard to determine what is going to happen in november. it's anyone's guess. people saying the number of voters will determine this election may be viewer than the number of voters who could fill a stadium. so no one should take any of these polls for granted. the one thing i know for sure is we can't trust the polling. >> greg: it is neck and neck but put this up if you can. this is the rcp map. the no toss up ma, and you look at this. it is 302 electoral votes for the former president and 236 for kamala harris. that's why the campaign is a little bit testy. christina, elizabeth, thank you. we appreciate it. correctly. beyond that his reporting was total and utter bs. he indicated that our esteemed common sense department said that fema money intended for disaster victims had been shifted to help illegal immigrants. the very use of the word shifted was shifty, and he knows it. common sense made it crystal clear that fema has many different buckets of money including a bucket for disaster victims and a bucket for illegal immigrant. there was zero mention or indication or swimmation that money was shifted from one bucket to another. common sense went to great lengths to point out that while the disaster relief bucket was nearly empty, the illegal migrant bucket had money aplenty. it had zero to do with reallocating or shifting and everything to do with the fact that fema should not have an illegal immigrant money bucket
