removed. self-identified non-citizens over 6,000 individuals. and so this is -- this has been a law on the books and i think it's something we should all want. and i would say this just personally. the idea that the department of justice governor, particularly myself, which one of my earliest memories was seeing my mother become a u.s. citizen after she fled cuba and her taking me with her. first time she got to vote in her life late 30's how much pride she had. your right to vote is precious. what we are talking about are not non-citizens. we are talking about non-citizens. having clean voter rolls are part of the governorship. he is obeying the law our job and the attorney general's office to defend him chief executive of the commonwealth. >> todd: the doj and all the democrat organizations supporting the doj in this movement, in this fight against you say actual citizens are at risk of being purged. what's the response to that line of argument?
