you for having me, greg. so this is a big mac with chicken. it's a big mac chicken. big mac mc chicken. i don't know what it's called because i don't have a sheet, but who cares? it started in europe, and now it's here. it's basically instead of the patties, you have chicken patties. let's all taste it. that includes you, greg. be a team player. i can't eat before my next show. greg, what do you have tonight? great show. kat timpf jeff di lee zeldin, tyrus. that's tonight. ted. pierre. all right, great job. brett. hey. thanks, greg. i really thought i did a good job with the chicken. it's good. oh, you like it? okay. yeah, we like us. everyone have a great night. welcome to jesse watter. prime time tonight. why is half the country supporting him? why is he beating you? and a lot of swing states? this is an
10:01 pm
election for president of the united states. it's not supposed to be easy. the democrats having second thoughts about kamala harris. we did not find a single person who would tell us that they voted for kamala harris. i was quite repulsed by brett bayer. the attack mode from the beginning was was quite stunning. the media not handling this very well. there was nothing fair and balanced about what we saw. he's the one maker changer. he's a money maker. he's going to change the economy for the better. he's here for the people. let's go trump. why the streets are marching with trump. at the end of the day, i'm trump. my eyes are open. plus remember joe biden said if you don't support him, you ain't black. i ain't black. when i look in the mirror, i see a black guy. wit. news alert you're looking live at the al smith dinner in new york city, where they're currently introducing the guests of honor. it's an annual

charity dinner. politicians show up in election years to roast each other in good humor. president trump is expected to speak tonight. kamala, a no show. she's sending a prerecorded video message instead. we're also expecting remarks from comedian jim gaffigan and an invocation from timothy cardinal dolan. and we'll take you there later in the hour. death has a way of bringing people together. yesterday at the funeral of ethel kennedy, bobby's widow, biden, obama, clinton and pelosi all sat alongside each other for the first time since the coup. the bad blood between these four lingering in the church like incense. and then things just got awkward. i will tell you this. i thought your mother was the cat's meow. she would flirt with me in the most
10:03 pm
innocent ways. okay. anyone else? days later, i received another letter from her that i'll always remember. i know all of you look forward to each year a valentine card. it was a picture of me and ethel surrounded by hearts. oh, you think i'm kidding? it meant a lot to me. i'm telling you. printed the language on the card. i said in the printed language of the card. it said, i'm not biding my time. waiting for you. valentine. and then, in her handwriting, she says, because he's no ordinary joe. okay. but in the pews, the tension was as powerful as the organ pipes. barack and biden were caught in the middle of a deep conversation. now, primetime isn't in the lip
10:04 pm
reading business, but one professional lip reader tells the post that biden told barack she's not as strong as me. barack, nodding his head, seems to agree. according to this lip reader, obama tells him that's true. the relationship between these two presidents is strained. biden is off the ticket and some are second guessing the switcheroo. trump says obama's feeling like this. i think he's angry. he pretends not to be, but i think he's an angry guy. he's a nasty guy. he's got a little bit of an edge, and, you know, he's angry about a lot of things. you look at what happened with biden and you look at what he did with biden. he really hurt biden. if you think about it, they stole the election from a sitting president that's, you know, i always say coup, but the word coup, i don't think it's accurate enough. they just walked in and took it away from him. that is a legendary thing. he didn't want to give up. he's angry now. they're all angry at
10:05 pm
the democrats. if you think she's angry, they're both angry. for both men, this is personal. kamala's faltering candidacy threatens the end of the obama-biden era. that's how conrad black puts it. they put their legacies on the line for harris, and now they're all pointing fingers at each other. biden's telling barack, i told you so. pelosi and biden still aren't even speaking to each other. and she says she never wanted harris in the first place. she wanted josh shapiro as the nominee. that's according to journalist mark halperin. and the clintons say we had to have a coronation. there's no way kamala could survive a competition. some of the, you know, the wishful thinking and the speculating about let's have some sort of, you know, primary made absolutely no sense that we didn't have the time and it would not be in any way effective. and it would not help us win. the old dogs realize they have the party's
10:06 pm
blood on their hands. less than three weeks to go. they're trying to cut their losses. barack's lecturing the brothers and out on the campaign trail, bubba's teamed up with tampon tim. i wonder what they talk about on the bus. democrats are nudging harris to do more. so now she's screaming. must never again. stand behind the seal of the president of the united states. never again. never again. but it might be too lat. for the first time ever, the polling averages have trump up in every swing state. look at that. kamala is fading fast in the betting markets and in early voting. it's looking strong for republicans. check out the turnout in arizona. i should note we did not find a single person who audibly would tell us that they voted for
10:07 pm
kamala harris. these were trump supporters getting out to vote early in the all important mojave county. take a listen to some of our conversations. well, the difference is going to be that we're everybody's coming out early. why did you vote early this year? honestly, because donald trump told me t. good answer. we went one man who did not vote in 2020, but he said he was horrified by the state of the country. so he is voting here in 2024. the harris campaign is running into reality. that's how walter samuel puts it. harris finds herself burdened by biden's legacy and with a pointless running mate in october, at the very moment she's triangulated her credibility into the dustbin. half the harris tickets in a sling. walls is useless, and she's out there basically saying the last four years was a failure and never touts any of their so-called accomplishments. the only thing she talks about is this six democrats who voted against
10:08 pm
donald trump's administration. donald trump, donald trump's administration, donald trump, donald trump from donald trump and donald trump, donald trump, donald trump about donald trump, donald trump, donald trump and donald trump talking to president biden at a fundraiser on the debate stage donald trump. let's go back to donald trump during donald trump's and donald trump, how donald trump usually, when a person acts like that, you get a restraining order and she won't take any responsibility for anything. she had the chance yesterday with bret to say what she'd do differently, and she flunked. your campaign slogan is a new way forward, and it's time to turn the page. you've been vice president for three and a half years. so what are you turning the page from? well, first of all, turning the page from the last decade in which we've been burdened with the kind of rhetoric coming from donald trump that has been designed and implemented to divide our country and have
10:09 pm
americans literally point fingers at each other. the president more than 70% of people. that is about turning the page on rhetoric that people are frankly, exhausted of. bret, if you're turning the page, you've been in office for three and a half years, and donald trump has been running for office, but you've been the person holding the office. come on, madam vice president, you know what i'm talking about. you and i both know what i'm talking about. what are you talking about? well, the reason kamala is the nominee is because biden was a failure. why can't kamala just say i learned from the mistakes he made? catch and release was a bad idea. printing a gazillion dollars. i wouldn't do that again. instead, she just squirms and argues like a lawyer without a point. grow up, accept the past, and move forward. instead, she just lies to us. harris has tried to rewrite history, and in an implausible way to boot. but the idea that kamala harris is
10:10 pm
some sort of glock carrying conservative who idealized john mccain and admires the statesmanship of dick cheney is laughable. it is insulting to those involved. she's alienating the left and playing the rest of us for fools. harris appears to be in the process of defeating herself. nancy and barack have unleashed a wrecking ball. biden, at least, was still kind of holding the coalition together. kamala is poisoning it. she's lost unions, black men, hispanics. you don't easily put back political coalitions once they've been shattered. she isn't just losing voters. they're being scooped up by the opposing party. these coalitions take decades to build. if kamala loses this coup will have done long lasting damage to the democratic party. it's destroyed their coalition and their credibility at the same time, and it's burning through billions of dollars. writer tom
10:11 pm
klingenstein puts it this way the democratic party is the destructive party, and kamala is the destructive leader. this election is between one candidate who wants to destroy our country and the other who wants to save it. look how much damage biden-harris did in just four years. she's already promised she wouldn't change a thing. this country would not survive. florida governor ron desantis joins me now. so, governor, you saw that interview she did with bret. and it doesn't look like the democrats are that thrilled with it. what do you think happened there? well, her whole candidacy, you know, they air drop her in to replace biden. so she's got a very limited runway. and i think the bet they made was that a combination of legacy media propping her up and then having gazillion dollars to be able to run ads, would be able to mask
10:12 pm
her deficiencies at the end of the day, this is a vapid leftist san francisco democrat. she is not able to sit there and answer questions, and she has a record that is more liberal than anybody else in national politics. and so i think the whole issue of the election is for enough americans going to see the real kamala through the veil of the legacy media and all the different ads. and i think that interview last night, you know, that's another example of piercing that veil where people be able to say, hey, this is the real kamala. and that's not somebody that should be president. i mean, just think about it. you alluded to it in your opening. she has this this slogan that she wants a new beginning. she wants to turn the page. yet she cannot name one thing that she disagrees with. over the last three and a half years. then she has this other shtick where she talks about how she is going to save democracy and donald threats. donald trump's a threat to
10:13 pm
democracy and our institutions and yet this is the person that wants to eliminate the filibuster in the senate so they can pack the supreme court and eliminate the electoral college. she's never been somebody that's cherished american institutions. so i think her whole candidacy is a fraud. i think the interview yesterday showed that. and i think more and more people have just caught on over these last few months. you know, you're right about the inability to answer that one basic question. the whole reason she's running is because she's not joe biden. joe biden was so bad he wasn't allowed to run, and the only thing she can say as a difference is her gender and where she's lived recently. and in a way, that's what the democratic party is. it's all about identity. it's not about a new idea. they don't have any new ideas. do you believe the republican party is going to be able to take advantage of this? oh, i hope so. i mean, i just think about her as a candidate and you alluded to this as well. what is so wrong with her
10:14 pm
to just acknowledge that the biden border border policies have failed? why can't she just say that? why can't you just say, you know what, i was involved in that, but i would do it differently now. i will do it different. why can't she acknowledge that the afghanistan withdrawal was a debacle and that she would do it differently? i mean, there are certain things this administration has done, even if you're more liberal, you have to admit they've been failures. and yet she won't even acknowledge that. so i think that that's very alarming about the type of leader she would be if she can't acknowledge past mistakes. and so i think we're as republicans now in a situation where people are looking at that they don't like the direction of the country, they don't have confidence in her as a leader. and, you know, the one thing about donald trump is he was president. and so people can look back and say, okay, how did trump do on the border? well, he obviously did much better than biden. harris on the border. how did trump do on national security? he obviously did much better than biden. harris on national security. so
10:15 pm
they have that frame of reference. and i think ultimately that will benefit republicans. you're not even allowed to criticize democrats if you're a democrat. the only thing that keeps their status up is the fact that no one says anything mean about them. the one time you say anything negative, all hell breaks loos. and that's kind of what's starting to happen right now with her. real quick, the cleanup situation in florida, how's it going? well, you know, we had two major hurricanes in the span of two weeks. we had to prepare and respond to helene. we did 2.4 million power restorations in record time. then with milton, there was 4.2 million power knocked out. and that's been resolved. i think it's 99.9%. with that, we did great search and rescue, local, state, working together. and here's the way i would put it. if you don't hear about it in national media then then obviously the response must have been good because if we even stubbed our toe, they would be all over us. but we take a lot of pride in it. we prep, we get the job done. but
10:16 pm
i think the difference us and some other states we lead, we do not rely on the feds. you know, we're happy to use federal support when it's available. but but we drive the train and i think that's why we're able to get the job done. you're right. you've done an excellent job down there because we're not hearing a thing. governor. thank you so much. well, johnny goes to philly. black america has been voting for democrats for decades. how has that worked out? it hasn't been the best. but you're going to just continue voting democrat. yeah, i mean, i'm loyal to my soul. you. oh, god. i didn't have to spend my life trying to find my calling. mine found me at an early age. he was just a matter of how good i could get and how far i would go at ram. our calling is to build trucks. so when you find your calling, nothing can stop you from answering it right now. during ram power days, get $4,000 cash

eager to get trump's america first agenda back on track. trump told patrick bet-david that tim cook, the apple ceo, just reached out to him asking for help keeping the europeans off his back. he said the european union has just find us $15 billion. i said, that's a lot. i know the feeling because i get find too and fake cases. he said they're using that to run their enterprise, meaning europe is their enterprise and i said, that's a lot. i said, but tim, i got to get elected first, but i'm not going to let them take advantage of our companies. that won't, you know, be happening. joe biden is the president. kamala is his vice. and tim cook called trump for help. why? he's a smart guy. and as you can tell from his company, he can see into the future. up until last
10:24 pm
night, kamala harris has never had a real interview. she's been served softballs by oprah, cnn, even cbs was caught editing her answers to be better. bret baier did what every other journalist refused to do, which is ask direct questions and then follow up. kamala looked like a political pipsqueak and now the people who have been hiding her are furious. not at her at fox. i was watching it in real time and i was quite repulsed by bret baier. i had always liked him, always thought he was a straight shooter and the attack mode from the beginning was was quite stunning. there was nothing fair and balanced about what we saw play out yesterday over their airwaves. she didn't take any of the sort of foxiness rhetoric that came from baier, and she was able to make her points despite every effort to undermine her and talk over her. they're treating kamala like a baby and lashing out because they're
10:25 pm
embarrassed. they've covered up for two candidates, and both times it didn't work. biden was exposed in the debate. kamala was exposed on fox, and bret treated her just like he treated trump. listen, i know bret, and he is, i think, a really fair person. and there's an interview he did with trump where he is ruthless with trump. and i would compare those two. i think she got a fair shake. one of obama's lieutenants called the interview an ambush. an ambush. kamala got grilled on the border. she didn't see that coming. bret was the one that was ambushed. you know, when the kicker in football, they call a timeout right before he's going to kick the field goal. they're icing the kicker. so we were supposed to start at 5 p.m. we. this was the time they gave us. originally we were going to do 25 or 30 minutes. they came in and said well maybe 20. so it was already getting whittled down. and then the vice president showed up about 515. we were
10:26 pm
pushing the envelope to be able to turn it around for the top of the 6:00. so not only did kamala try to run out the clock when her campaign saw that she was on the ropes, they threw in the towel. dana, you've been on the other side. you've been on the wrapper as a press secretary interviewing a president. and you know, i'm talking like four people waving their hands like it's got to stop. i had to dismount there at the end. there were so many things. and she maybe should do more of these. kamala never wanted to come on fox. it was her first interview with us. she's been avoiding the network for eight years. she only decided to do it because she was down in the polls and needed to flip the momentum. it's the same reason why biden did the june debate with trump. it's a high risk gamble that backfired on both of them. joe concha is a fox news contributor. so how badly did this backfire on kamala harris? jesse, i think this was as bad
10:27 pm
for kamala harris as the debate in june was for biden against trump. you just played that montage of analysis of this interview, however, because i was thinking after i watched that last night, there's no way even msnbc or the view or other networks could possibly defend this. but now my sarcasm has gotten to a point where i don't even know if i'm kidding anymore. this analysis of that interview last night, like you just played with kamala harris with bret baier, that's 31 flavors of stupid. i mean, on a scale of 1 to 10, jesse, with one being that interview went totally awesome and ten being the interview ended her campaign, i would give this an eight. now, if this was an objective media where we were dealing with, i would call this interview the train wreck. it was 10 to 10 on a hindenburg scale. but the way this interview is being portrayed on other networks, the best they could say is in unison. basically, kamala was feisty and she was tough, and they accused bret baier of being rude. so wait, not allowing a candidate to filibuster her way through an interview or give non-answers to fair, honest,
10:28 pm
germane questions that's considered rude. and she wasn't tough, by the way. she was nervous. she was defensive. she was evasive because think about it. and you said it before. not only was this the first tough interview of this campaign, she since she ran for president five years ago. i mean, 60 minutes somewhat challenged her, but they manipulated, manipulated that presentation in the final edit. and then, by the way, they still have not released the full transcript. so we don't know what else they may have edited or left on the edit room floor. bret did simply what tim russert used to do on meet the press. the great tim russert, he he quoted back or played back in this case, kamala harris words back to her and asked her to defend those positions. and her only reflex was to evoke donald trump. i'll leave it here. i looked over the transcript. jesse and she said donald trump's name 21 times in an interview that lasted nearly 25 minutes, which means she invoked his name when she was speaking every minute, literally. so when you go on fox news, the goal should be to convince voters that you
10:29 pm
normally don't reach perhaps why they should vote for you and her only pitch was that guy sucks. vote for me and that just ain't going to cut it. yeah, she didn't mention biden once. amazing. the sitting president so bad. it is just it's so bad. all right. again, we did not edit out anything to make her look better. that's the difference between fox and cbs. and we didn't have waltz come in to hold her hands. joe concha, good to see you. so what's going on with doug emhoff? vicks vapor stick provides soothing non-medicated vicks vapors. easy to apply for the whole family. vicks vapor stick and try new vapor shower max for steamy vicks vapors. here's to getting better with age. here's to beating these two every thursday. help fuel today with boost high protein complete nutrition. you need and the flavor you love. so
