it is incredible. it is like you would think they get the talking points from one person. donald trump gave harris the last rites. my favorite part -- it is like bruce wayne. he's got the penguin to his lower left elbow just sitting nearby and he is -- all over the penguin. chuck schumer was in a weird self-made prison. how do you engage with a human you call hilter. they were there and got chummy. chuck schumer doesn't believe trump was a nazi. all this rhetoric is a political show. their willingness to foment division across a country to get pete to demonize trump supporters is a lie. the division is never ever left versus right where the division is supposed to be left versus

right. when it is really the elitist against everyone else. they want you to believe that it is left versus right. i love the kamala video, because she says it is so important to come together and reach across and divide at events like these. events she turned it down. she didn't come across or reach across the aisle. she says, we need to do this, and then she does the opposite. i believe in women's rights. she will push for the six changes for a guy that killed a woman. the best part was the meltdown over the speech. trump said someone that fox helped write the jokes. and these left-wing housebound auditors on social media put on their reporter caps. thought they had a watergate scandal they were breaking. it is absolutely amazing. look at this.

their whole career is based on moments of another person's actual career while we have fun, they wet their couches. at some point, you should want to revisit the directory of your life if your dopamine is dependent on what you think other people have done. it is really sad. it was a good night for everybody. >> for kamala harris, was it a missed opportunity? >> i probably would have gone. this dinner if i work her or running for president, this dinner is one that raises money for catholic charities and has been a success for many, many years. for those of us who have been to the dinner, those of us in politics, it's one of those that invites back in and ushers back in some good humor and cheer and politics especially the time when things have gotten angry and partisan. i'm not just talking about the cycle. it is always a little heated. we look forward to have the candidates having fun ripping one another.

i listen to president trump and found some of it funny. i think it was making the point in one of the intro sets, he is not a partisan guy. i thought his take on it was interesting. that being said, i always look at these things to .5 weeks out and wonder, when candidates are presenting publicly, what are they trying to do? how do they incorporate this into their closing strategy? as i listened to both candidates, less and less harris over the last few days. not opened up enough. she gave as good as she got with her bret baier interview. he was unbelievable the way he went about doing that. she is stepping outside of her comfort zone. one of the ironies that she is normally the one that does traditional events and trump didn't. trump did this al smith dinner, and she would not do it. finally, i'm gonna be interested in seeing president trump.

watching this morning on "fox & friends" talking about governor healey campaigning with her and how that might be helpful. then he said some things that were not necessarily flattering about governor healey. i will be curious to see how that patches up. the two of them together is a formidable thing for president trump's campaign that would be helpful. vice president harris needs to continue get out there doing the unconventional press introducing herself to a lot of voters. >> and was entertaining. you were there. >> i was there. donald trump was hysterical. he was an entertainer. he was funny. the audience receives him very well. i don't know what he is talking about. and the idea that this video when it came out, the audience reacted in a very negative way. she is not going to be here, but she's got this video. the video wasn't funny at all.

and in fact as a catholic my myself, i wondered, who could possibly have told her to say and do what they did in that video. they were making fun of catholics as far as i was concerned. not a smart thing to do especially in a race that is supposed to be this close and apparently is this close, every vote matters. when you make a decision to not go to an event -- which is a staple in presidential politics. you just don't miss this event. she said a month ago she couldn't make it. she didn't have a different event that was conflicting. she just wasn't going to make it. i think she is an individual who is not self-deprecating, who doesn't have a sense of humor, who is uncomfortable socially. and donald trump is. for all the talk by the left, donald trump and chuck schumer, during the break in, they were talking, they were laughing. donald trump has the ability to engage and get along with people. i think that the person who lost last night was kamala harris.

she showed herself to be not strong enough to support a big population in this country. >> i didn't see much out there that said that was a great kamala harris video. >> i think that really unify the country. it wasn't like she didn't put a lot of effort into it. there was a lot of effort that went into that lining up the actors to come and do this. by the way, it is absolutely insulting of course with this character is famous for is smelling her own armpits when she gets nervous in her catholic school uniform. the whole thing is just bizarre. sometimes i kind of wonder -- maybe america doesn't deserve a president that is absolutely as hilarious as donald trump is. i don't think that she has any self-awareness or self-confidence. that is why she can't perform in things like this.

"fox & friends." lorenz jones had a very interesting piece. the former president went to the bronx and went to a barbershop. it seemed like a diverse group of people in the barbershop. they seem to be open to some of the things that president trump was saying. those are the kind of things if i were advising president trump i would be advising him to do. the name-calling and some of the things he said about governor healey, he needs governor healey. the democrat strategy is pretty straightforward. they are trying to appeal to the governor healey voters in the key states where she garnered high teen digits or percentages in those races. vice president harris needs to go to a barbershop. i think the name-calling on both sides should cease. the campaigning in a substance behind that campaigning, i hope that is what proliferates here in the final 17 days. >> it is more rich coming from kamala who is the woman who covered for joe biden who put a lid on most mornings at 10:00 a.m.
