with. story of al smith's historic run for the presidency is truly inspiring. it gives me hope that in america, it's still not possible for a fellow named al to be the commander in chief. the heralded arrival of a man known to oprah winfrey as the one being a friend and colleague of barack. i just called him that one. he doesn't mind at all. in fact, he even has a pet name for me, george bush. earlier today i went shopping at some stores in midtown. i understand governor romney went shopping for some stores in midtown. it's what we have in common, beginning with our unusual names. actually, mitt is his middle name. i wish i could use my middle name. hillary accidentally bumped

into me and she very civilly said, pardon me. look, it's all in good fun, right? the al smith foundation has been inviting presidential candidates for almost 60 years. kamala harris last night became the first presidential candidate since walter mondale to decline that invitation. and mondale, as you may remember, went on to lose 49 states in a landslide. but since kamala couldn't make time for catholic charities, the emcee of the night, comedian jim gaffigan, spent the night roasting her catholics will be a key demographic in every battleground state. i'm sorry. why is vice president harris not here? consider this. this is a room full of catholics and jews in new york city. this is

a layup for the democratic nominee. i mean, in her defense, i mean, she did find time to appear on the view. howard stern, colbert and the long time staple of campaigning, the call her daddy podcast. kamala harris was in no laughing mood. none at all. in fact, she decided to record this bizarre video. the al smith dinner provides a rare opportunity to set aside partizanship. oh, sorry. sorry. hey, what's going on? who was that? oh, sorry. mary katherine gallagher. mary katherine gallagher. tonight is one of the biggest dinners. next to the last supper. it is a very important dinner. and it's an important tradition that i'm so proud to be a part of. sometimes when i get nervous, i stick my fingers under my arms, and i smell them like that. but that's gross. is there anything

democrats really wanted to have someone not be with us this evening, they would have just sent joe biden. chuck schumer is here looking very glum. doesn't he look lovely? he looks glum. but look on the bright side, chuck, considering how woke your party has become, if kamala loses, you still have a chance to become the first woman president. white dudes for harris. does anybody know? are some of you here? white dudes? doesn't sound like it, but i'm not worried about them at all because their wives and their wives lovers are all voting for me. now, maybe democrats just weren't in the mood to laugh with good reason. the joy is starting to turn into dread. critics who say the joy has gone you respond, oh, i'm having a great time. but kamala says she's having a

great time. her tone at rallies tells a different story. someone who suggests we should terminate the constitution of the united states should never again have the privilege of standing behind the seal of the president of the united states. never again. never again. never again. that does not sound like joy. no, it sounds like defeat. trump, meanwhile, is in his best polling position in a decade. look at this. at this point in 2016, clinton was up seven points in 2020. biden was up almost nine. and today harris is up just 1.4%. wow. and for the first time, trump is leading harris in every single battleground state in the real clear politics averages and republicans even have a one point lead in

national voter registration. that is a massive reversal from the last two elections, when democrats had the lead. and trump is even making gains in blue districts like connecticut's fifth district. i could not believe this when i saw it. look at this. it's a new emerson poll. kamala is leading trump by just one point. but here's the thing biden won this district by 11 points in 2020. they have voted for democrats for the last quarter century. let that sink in. just a one point difference. democrats are already bracing for the worst. reuters reports that the harris campaign is shifting strategy as anxiety rises over trump gains, and three sources tell nbc that the white house and harris campaign have been in frequent contact about how she plans to distance herself from biden while maintaining her overall loyalty. loyalty to him. she's losing time. we've got 18 days. biden is the ghost

that keeps haunting the harris campaign, and democrats want him as far away as possible. president biden couldn't be here tonight. the dnc made sure of that. the democrats have been telling us trump, trump's reelection is a threat to democracy. in fact, they were so concerned of this threat, they staged a coup, ousted their democratically elected incumbent and installed kamala harris. in other words, all her dreams have come true. so who isn't running away from biden? nancy pelosi says she still has not spoken to him since he dropped out, and now she's not showing up to the white house. she was not seen at the italian american celebration when she's been front and center in the past. was she not invited? i don't have anything to share with you on that. democrats are as divided, scared and angry as ever and republicans are unified, confident, even

joyful. now, if you're a democrat, you cannot help but feel anxious. let's bring in senator ted cruz. senator cruz, you know, having worked in press and communications, you can tell a lot by what the headlines say. and the headlines out there suggest that the harris campaign is ferociously leaking. people on the ground are leaking. they are talking outright to reporters about their fears. when i talk to democrats, they say, oh, we're just a party of bedwetters. this is normal. but this seems more than bedwetting. it seems like internal polling is running against kamala. your thoughts? well, look, i think the democrats are panicking. i think there is a battle within the white house. i think joe biden and his loyalists resent joe biden being thrown overboard. you know, immediately following the democrat convention, there was a burst of support for kamala harris. and it was a sugar high. and a lot of us said at the time, this sugar high is temporary. but i think the issue set strongly favors donald trump and strongly favors republicans. if you look

at kamala harris's trainwreck of an interview with bret baer, i mean, it was terrible. she can't talk about her record the last four years. you know, i think my favorite moment is when bret aster said, look, you're campaigning on changing. turning the page. you've been the vice president for three and a half years. what are you turning the page from? and all she could do is, is essentially yell, i hate donald trump. and i think at the end of the day, hatred of donald trump is not a winning message. and when the democrats have a disaster on the border, when they have a disaster on the economy, when foreign policy is a mess, when everything they touch, they can't defend. i hate donald trump, i don't think gets him to victory. yeah, hate is not a strategy, nor is hope. but on the point of your race, you have a big race in the state of texas. i was driving to pick up my daughter from school, and my dad calls me and he says, kayleigh, you have to go watch this clip of ted cruz and his debate as he crushed a democrat. and he said this should be the playbook for republicans across the country. i want to play it. he signed on

to something called the transgender bill of rights. transgender bill of rights, explicitly. and he co-sponsored it mandated that boys compete against girls sports. and just two weeks ago, congress alderman congressman allred joined 100 radical democrats in demanding that our military allow drag shows on military bases, pay for soldiers to have sex changes using taxpayer money, and pay for children to be sterilized and have sex changes on military bases. again, that's extreme. that's quite a record for your opponent, colin allred. yeah. look, colin allred is radical and extreme. his first four years in the house, he voted 100% with nancy pelosi. the first two years, joe biden and kamala harris were in the white house. colin allred voted 100% with joe biden and kamala harris. colin allred is kamala harris. they both are terrible on the border. they voted in favor of open borders over and

and harris have their sights set on the battlegrounds. they're both in michigan today, as you saw, and they have been laser focused on pennsylvania. and for good reason. trump is picking up major steam in the state. in fact, in northampton county, a key region won by joe biden in 2020, lawmakers are saying there's a wait list for trump signs there is a great demand for at least our top of the ticket candidate, donald trump, that there's even the locally here what is called trump stores. so we have distributed everything we get. there is a waiting a waiting list for people to get trump signs. now things are looking a little more bleak for kamala. politico reports that top democrats in pennsylvania are worried that vice president kamala harris's operation is being poorly run in the nation's biggest battleground state. democrat leaders are pointing fingers at kamala's pennsylvania campaign manager, who they say has been awol. where is she? what's more

worrisome for the left is pennsylvania democrats, who argue that harris's team has not done enough to turn out voters of color. latino leaders are grumbling to politico reports. they're telling the harris campaign that they aren't doing enough to engage latino voters, and they feel men still aren't on board. with harris now in the town of carroll, pennsylvania, residents are struggling as factories close and haitian migrants continue to come into their community in huge numbers. the corning glass closure losing 300 jobs, quality pasta just lost 100 jobs, too. that's a big strain on on not only the people in town, but the families and the economy. they're busing so many people around just dropping them off. and i mean, our town is being overrun. you look at their vans, they drive around in vans. every one of them got a got a fender bender. so my

insurance has gone up because of that. you know, my short form from 1.9 to 3.02, a new fox poll shows that around the country, two thirds of voters are in support of mass deportations. even nearly half of democrats support them. that is unbelievable. everyone knows kamala could never, would never deliver on that. things are getting so bad that even down ballot democrats are distancing, distancing themselves from kamala. they don't want to be around her. senator bob casey, who's in a big race, was a no show at kamala's pennsylvania rally this week. and now the senator has even been caught running this pro-trump ad. he sided with trump to end nafta and put tariffs on china to stop them from cheating. so in this house we agree it's bob casey who's doing right by pennsylvania. i'm bob casey and i definitely

approve this message. he definitely approves. and he's a democrat. but what casey doesn't realize is that the problem isn't just how unpopular kamala is. it's democrats radical policies that are turning voters away. we are a country of immigrants. we're also a country of laws. and under biden-harris and casey, i mean, this is another career politician election year epiphany from punxsutawney bob, who comes up every six months before every election, 116,000 people died last year from fentanyl. on your watch. right on your watch. that's two vietnams eight years of war in vietnam, 58,000. so the failure in this weakness that the fact that you and biden and harris aren't standing up and taking accountability is a true disgrace. dave mccormick, you just saw there is a candidate for senate in pennsylvania. he joins me now. he's the republican nominee. dave, i just about dropped my phone this morning when i saw that your opponent, bob casey, a democrat, puts out an ad that says casey supports trump's trade order. tammy baldwin, also in wisconsin, is touting

trump's policies. i thought he was such a dictator. but yet these democrats have him in ads. but i'm curious to know from you what is the internal polling showing for the democrat to not go to kamala's rally, but put out a trump ad? well, listen, what's happening here is i think democrats are recognizing that, at least in pennsylvania, joe biden would have been a better candidate than kamala harris. you know, he was scranton joe. he had these relationships with the unions and key democrats. kamala harris is a san francisco liberal that is completely out of touch with pennsylvania banned fracking, defund the police, mandatory buybacks of guns, the list goes on and on. in her own words and president trump is gaining real momentum here in our polling. he's in the lead and gaining. and in our polling, i'm tied and gaining. and that's because people are recognizing that this is a race between strength and weakness and common sense policies in this radical liberal agenda, that career politician weak bob casey has

supported every step of the way. and that's why we're going to win in pennsylvania, because that choice is becoming more and more clear. so you're tied in gaining in your polling. and bob casey, if he were here, i know he would tell our viewers, look, i'm a kamala harris supporter. i disagree with trump on one policy putting that aside, i went on pay.gov today. i pulled out the excel spreadsheet they have of ballot tracking, and i didn't quite know what to make of this. they say that democrats have returned their ballots. 63% of ballots returned have been democrats, and republicans share is only 26.8%. now we know democrats tend to vote early. republicans tend to vote on election day. but what do you make of those numbers? should they be higher for republicans? well, two things are happening. first of all, the voter registration in pennsylvania has moved to a republicans in huge ways. we have 700,000. we've closed the gap by 700,000 between democrats and republicans. it was a million more registered democrats when trump won in 2016. so that's that's going

great. guns and on mail in ballot. the gap has closed dramatically. all signs are that people are seeking change. and this is an election about change. and i'm a change candidate against bob casey, who's a status quo. and all the numbers support that. i think that that's why you're seeing this frantic, panicky behavior on the part of senator casey. president trump told me the other day he couldn't recognize senator casey if he was in a lineup. and that's because it's all manufactured and i think this shows panic. bob casey said the other day on cnn that he couldn't think of a single thing he disagreed with kamala harris on. and that's the problem, that radical liberal agenda. he'll be a 100% rubber stamp vote that's taking our country in the wrong direction. and in my case, you know, i'm a seventh generation pennsylvanian, a combat vet, a west point graduate, a business guy, a political outsider. that's what pennsylvanians are looking for right now is chang. yeah. so casey can't name how he's different than kamala. and kamala can't name how she's different than biden. see that ro
