pretty good move there. but but the idea look, this this ivf exemption for religious sensibilities. and he told me he'd reinstitute the mexico city policy, which forbids spending money on foreign abortions. that's big news, particularly from some folks in the faith community who had misgivings about the new trump, who sounds like the old trump. when i was watching. great job in the interview, by the way, when i was watching the dinner on. it was on fox. it almost looked like one of those old dean martin frozen. well, it was funny. i always say he's like don rickles. and he was last night a little bit combo. reagan. he looked like reagan a little bit raymond. thank you. that is it for us tonight. make news alert. i'm jackie ibanez in new york. the spokesperson for israeli prime minister benjamin netanyahu
2:01 am
says a drone was launched toward netanyahu's home in caesarea, israel. according to the spokesperson, netanyahu and his wife were not in the home at the time of the attack, and there are no casualties. three drones in total originated from lebanon, two of them were intercepted earlier this week. hezbollah vowed to escalate the conflict with israel following the death of hamas leader yahya sinwar. sinwar was the architect of the october 7th, 2023 terrorist attacks which launched launched israel into war with hamas in gaza and escalated the border fighting with hezbollah in lebanon. again, a drone was launched towards israeli prime minister benjamin netanyahu's home in the northern israel town of caesarea this morning, though netanyahu's spokesperson says the prime minister was not home and the attack did not cause any deaths or injuries. of course, stick with fox news channel for more on this developing developing story. i'm jackie ibanez. now back to regular programing. already in progress loses. you still have a chance to become the first woman

president. there's a group called white dudes for harris, but i'm not worried about them at all because their wives and their wives lovers are all voting for me. but i don't think kamala has given up yet. she hasn't. instead of attending tonight, she's in michigan, receiving communion from gretchen whitmer. vp harris becoming the first presidential nominee to skip the al smith dinner since 1984. harris instead chose to send this strange prerecorded video featuring former snl star molly shannon. the al smith dinner provides a rare opportunity to set aside partizanship. cool. oh, sorry. sorry. hey, what's going on? who was that? i'm a catholic, and tonight is one of the biggest dinners next to the last supper. it is a very important dinner, and it's an important tradition that i'm so proud to be a part of. is there anything that you think that maybe i shouldn't bring up
2:03 am
tonight? well. don't lie. thou shalt not bear false witness to thy neighbor. indeed. and some folks in the media aren't happy with former president trump's speech last night. his appearance at the alfred e smith dinner was ridiculous. it was offensive, and it was way off the mark. i thought that donald trump misread the room. i thought that he was undisciplined and mostly unfunny. he just missed the mark and it was cringeworthy. and it was unnecessarily nasty. it was nasty in his comments and frankly, not very funny. so is the is this catholic church event normalizing a guy who's already broken 11 of the ten commandments and got darker and darker, where even some of his supporters, i'm not sure, found it all quite that funny. greg, i could not wait to sit down with you tonight and ask you what you thought about those jokes and how they went over. i think it's just hilarious how they all sound exactly the same. the critics. it's
2:04 am
incredible. it's like you'd think they'd get the talking points from one person. i mean, true to a catholic event. donald trump gave harris last rites. my favorite part, though, is how he's like bruce wayne, and he's got the penguin like to the low. his lower left elbow just sitting nearby, and he's just crapping all over the penguin. schumer was like in a weird self-made prison, you know, how do you engage with a human you call hitler and you're there and they actually got chummy. so clearly schumer doesn't really believe trump is a nazi or he wouldn't be there laughing and talking to him. so think about it. all this trump rhetoric is just a political show, and their willingness to foment division across a country to get to demonize trump supporters because you're supporting a nazi is all based on a lie. and it tells you the division is never, ever left versus right. the division is supposed to be left versus
2:05 am
right when it's really the elitists against everyone else. they want you to believe it's left versus right, but it really isn't. i love the kamala video because she says it's so important to come together and reach across a divide at events like these events. she turned down, she didn't come across or reach across the aisle. this is exactly what she does with everything she says. we need to do this. and then she does the opposite. i believe in women's rights. well, then, you know, she'll push paying for the sex changes of a guy who killed a woman i buy. my best part was the meltdown over the speech. you know, trump said somebody at fox helped him write the jokes wasn't true. it was a comedian who sends me riffs on my monologue, and these left wing, housebound auditors on social media put on their reporter caps, thought they had a watergate scandal. they were breaking. it's absolutely amazing. oh my god, look at
2:06 am
this. their whole career is based on moments of another person's actual career. while we have fun, they wet their couches. at some point you want to. you should revisit the trajectory of your life. if your dopamine is dependent on what you think other people have done, it's really sad. it was a good night for everybody. yeah, but for kamala harris, was it a missed opportunity? harold? well, it's good to be back with everybody. i would have probably gone. i think this dinner is if i were, if i were, if i were her or running for president. this dinner is one that raises money for catholic charities and has been a success for many, many years. and i think for those of us who've been to the dinner and those of us in politics, it's one of those moments that invites back in and really ushers back in some good humor and cheer in politics, especially at a time when things have gotten angry and partizan. and i'm not just talking about this cycle, presidential cycle at this time, it's always a little heated. so you look forward to seeing the candidates have have
2:07 am
a little fun ribbing one another and even ribbing some of the political climate. i listened to president trump. i found some of it funny. i found some of it. i think mike smerconish, michael smerconish, who was making the point in our in one of the intro sets, you know, he's not a partizan guy. i mean, he is. and i thought his take on it was interesting. that being said, i always look at these things also two and a half weeks out and wonder when candidates are presenting publicly, what are they trying to do? is this a part or or how do they incorporate this into their closing strategy? and as i listened to both candidates, less and less. harris, over the last few days, we've been critical around this table that she's not done enough events and she's not not open up enough. she did a i think she gave as good as she got with the bret baier interview. and i thought bret was unbelievable. the way he went about doing that. so she's stepping outside of her comfort zone. one of the ironies of all this is that she's normally the one that does traditional events, and trump doesn't trump did to harris at dinner. i mean, the smith dinner, rather. and she would not do it. finally, i'm going to be interested in
2:08 am
seeing president trump. i watched him this morning on fox and friends, and he was talking about governor haley campaigning with her and how that might be helpful. then he said some things that were not necessarily flattering about governor haley. and i'll be curious to see how that matches up, because i think the two of them together is a formidable thing for president trump's campaign. right at the end, it would be helpful. and vice president harris, i think she needs to continue getting out there and doing some of the unconventional press and introducing herself again to a lot of voters. jim gaffigan did a good job, too. yeah. well, no, i mean, judge, it was entertaining. you were there. yeah, i was there. and it was. donald trump was hysterical. he's an entertainer. he was funny. the audience received him very well. i don't know what smerconish is talking about. and the idea that this video, when it came out, i think the audience reacted in a very negative way. it was kind of like, ooh, like she's not going to be here, but she's got this video and the video wasn't
2:09 am
funny at all. and in fact, as a catholic myself, i wondered who could possibly have told her to say and do what they did in that video? they were making fun of catholics as far as i was concerned. not a smart thing to do, especially in a race that is supposed to be this close and apparently is as close. every vote matters, and when you make a decision to not go to an event which is a staple in presidential politics, you just don't miss this event, she said. a month ago, she couldn't make it. she didn't have a different event that was conflicting, but she just wasn't going to make it. i think she's an individual who is not self-deprecating, who doesn't have a sense of humor, who isn't comfortable socially, and donald trump is. and for all the talk by the left, donald trump and chuck schumer, you know, during the break, they were talking, they were laughing. i mean, don trump has the ability to engage and get along with people. and i think that the person who lost
2:10 am
last night was kamala harris. she showed herself to be small and not strong enough to show up and support a very big population in this country. charlie, looking at a lot of the reaction, i didn't see, i didn't see much out there. that said, that was a great kamala harris video. i didn't find that. yeah, i think that that really unified the country. nobody thought it was a very good video. and it wasn't like she didn't put a lot of effort into it. there was a lot of effort that went into that. lining up the actress to come and do this. and by the way, you know, it is absolutely insulting. you know, of course, what this character is famous for is smelling her own armpits when she gets nervous in her catholic school uniform. so it is the whole thing. it's just bizarre. and you know, i do think that sometimes i kind of wonder with donald trump, you know, maybe america doesn't deserve a president as absolutely hilarious as donald trump is, i don't think that she has any self-awareness. i don't think she has any self-confidence. and that's why she can't she can't perform in
2:11 am
things like this. and i think that she pays a price, not just. and it's not just catholics who are going to be offended by this, although i think that they rightly would be. it's this sort of field that she is being protected. she's afraid of, of engaging in, in un, you know, in territory where it's not completely controlled. and when she does, it ends disastrously. might have been a good opportunity for voters to see another side of her voters will decide ultimately, just ahead, kamala harris parroting a new media talking point and donald trump just took her to task for it. better when i'm dancin. yeah, yeah. and we can do this together. i bet you feel better when you're dancing. yeah, yea. ba ba ba ba ba ba ba. customize and save with liberty mutual. customize and save. and then i wake up. is lemieux with you in

california girls. we're unforgettable daisy dukes bikinis on top. just 18 days until the election and both candidates are barnstorming the battleground state of michigan. president trump will be doing a rally later tonight in detroit, but he was up bright and early this morning making a pit stop at fox and friends, proving once again that he's a juggernaut when it comes to doing interviews. but kamala harris doesn't see it that way. she's pouncing on a new report that claims trump is too exhausted to continue his media tour. the vice president even using it as a new campaign talking point and now he is ducking debates and canceling interviews. come on. and check this out. his own campaign team recently said it is because of
2:17 am
exhaustion. well, if you are exhausted on the campaign trail, it raises real questions about whether you are fit for the toughest job in the world. oh my. but trump wasn't going to let kamala get away with a ridiculous new attack line. what if i canceled? i haven't canceled, she doesn't go to any events. she's a loser. she doesn't go to any events. she didn't even show up for the catholics last night at the hotel. it was insulting. they all they are are soundbites. so the day i was at fox and friends at 7:00 in the morning, i then went to two different other appearances. i then made about 15 phone calls. i've gone 48 days now without a rest and i've got that loser who doesn't have the energy of a rabbit. not. i'm not even tired. i'm really exhilarated. you know why we're killing her in the polls? because the american people don't want her. she didn't pass her bar exam. she's
2:18 am
not a smart person. she's not a person that should represent our country. i want to see her do a cognitive test because she couldn't ace. because she wasn't born smart. all right, harold, so a woman who hasn't done a press conference in 89 days, it's kind of rich for her to claim that donald trump is exhausted. when he was at an event last night, and this morning, i turned on my tv. he was on television. look, i saw him. i saw him early this morning as well. let me step back for a minute. i hear when the president and i've heard others talk about vice president harris and her being dumb. if i don't think she's dumb, you can disagree with her. but i think it's i think it's unfair to call her, call her dumb. and if the president thinks that she's not smart, she wasn't born smart. like i get some of it. it's just what the president says, and some of it's humorous, but it's not working. i mean, because if it were working, you'd be he'd be further ahead because most
2:19 am
people would not want a dumb president. so people are not necessarily believing it. i think i saw this morning on fox and friends what i thought was really interesting. judge i thought lawrence jones had a very interesting piece. he and the president, the former president went to the bronx and he went to a barbershop with the president. and it seemed like a diverse group of people in the barbershop, and they seemed to be open to some of the things that president trump was saying. those are the kinds of things. if i were advising president trump that i would be advising him to do the name calling and even some of the things he said about governor haley, he needs governor haley here then, because the democrat strategy is pretty, pretty straightforward. they're trying to appeal to the haley voters and some of the key states where she garnered high teen teen digits or teen percentages in those races. vice president harris, she needs to go to a barber shop. i do think the name calling on both sides should cease, and the campaigning and the substance behind that campaigning, i hope that's what proliferates here in the final 17 days of the campaign. and, you know, charlie, it's even richer coming from kamala, who's the woman who covered for joe biden, who put a lid on it most mornings at 10 a.m, she
2:20 am
suddenly an expert on cognitive decline. where did this happen? it's amazing to me, but i do think, you know, you know, obviously, you know, they're playing these sort of head games, which i understand. i don't think it's working. obviously, they did succeed at getting donald trump to take the bait and respond to it, which is all they were looking for. but the idea that americans are sitting around believing this idea that trump doesn't do enough interviews, the one thing i think, like all like the vast majority of all americans, whether you love him or hate him, agree upon, is that he does too many interviews. and the idea that you're going to sit here and attack him for not doing enough interviews, it just doesn't. i mean, i get it in politics, if you're going to tell a lie, tell a big lie, but that one just seems like it's a little too big of a lie for people to believe. you know, sandra, the whole idea of, you know, tara saying he thought it was a good thing that former president trump went to a black barber shop. trump has gone to places where republicans have never gone before. you know, whether
2:21 am
it's, you know, a black barber shop or, you know, going into harlem or i mean, he has done everything. it's like he's not afraid to go in the lion's den. i think a lot of the election is going to come down to just that. that's why we keep having real people on our program. we find our viewers really want to hear what people on the ground, especially in some of these key battleground states, what they're saying, and they don't want their vote to be assumed, and they do want to know where she stands on these issues. and we carried that that that campaign speech. she gave that. we just played a bit of live during our program, some of it today, and there seemed to be an angry kamala harris there. she didn't lay out her policies in any further detail. in fact, she repeated a talking line, talking point. let's turn the page. she was challenged by brett in that interview on that turned the page. you are currently in the white house. you have been for almost four years. this is the economy. this is the biden-harris economy. that's the number one issue for voters, right now all over the country. so turn the page from your policy. she's making the case in the interview with bret baier. she
2:22 am
said, no, it's from the last ten years of donald trump running for president. look, i had doctor siegel on the program today. we were talking about the stress and anxiety level of the american voter. it is true. it is on the rise. and if you watch that today, you felt it. i mean, it's that's a real thing right now. and what are we, 15, 16 days out from election day? take a deep breath. we've got a long way to go. but yeah, i think it's i think it's time for her to really clearly lay out her plans for american voters, because maybe they like the idea of her initially, but if they still don't know what they what she is going to do for them today, they might look otherwise. you want to wrap it up, greg? yeah. i don't mind her saying trump's exhausted or questioning the decline. that's part of the game, but it's the media that parrots that because the media is also in the same, you know, committed the same crime. they ignored trump's, you know, joe biden's mental decline, his erratic states. but there's a reason her staff has, you know, the highest
2:23 am
turnover rate since the titanic. it's her irritated entitlement. why do i have to work? she always seems exhausted. trump is exhausting. you know, he's nonstop. she's nonsense. you know, he's he's always been doing everything she finally got it going in the last, i don't know, week or so. and she's mad. she's resentful that she has to do that. that campaign stop. she reminded me of every drunk woman in front of a bar raving that her uber is late. she's just shouting. what the hell is going on? when she's calm? she reminds me of the instructor of a class that your court ordered to take so she knows she can take her time and do nothing and just rip you apart because you need her signature. you know, she's the person you avoid, you know, behind the counter at the dmv who went afforded some
