we understand he didn't actually fill out an application that doubles as a place mat at mcdonald's. we also know he didn't say he worked at mcdonald's. somebody else did and the reporters instead of investigating that claim, they decided to pull their hair out over this. the irony is if they had done their job the first time, this incredible opportunity to troll harris would not have taken place. kind of reminds me how the media is now treating him as unstable and exhausted when they didn't do the same for joe biden who actually was and is unstable and exhausted. they had the opportunity for the investigative story, giant story, you had a president who is incapacitated. they don't do it and they wait and they do it on trump, it's comical. i still remember it wasn't long ago a couple months ago the dems were getting their mojo back,

trying to convince everybody that lemon they drove out of the lot was a restored ev bentley. turns out it's an exploding pinto. the whole fantasy was designed to keep the polls close so they could keep the fund-raising up. the problem is the fund-raising did go up she made a lot of money but she is as flat as an irritated jellyfish, there's nothing happening there. they have all the psi ops comparing him to hitler, mussolini, stalin -- they all returning to the place there at that he is a danger to society but it goes against everything you see at the barbershops, he won. >> dana: when you're on a campaign in your opponent does something that's pretty great -- at some point you just go well done. >> jeanine: they can't do that because trump is hitler and he is now fascist. the amazing part of this whole thing with mcdonald's as there was no more powerful way to say

kamala harris wasn't being truthful about working at mcdonald's then donald trump putting on that apron, going in there and doing what he does best and that is engaging with people whether it's at a barbershop, mcdonald's or showing up at a steelers-jets game where the crowds go crazy. he can communicate, he can relate, he can talk. all she's got his platitudes, she can't engage in that communication which was evident thursday night at the al smith dinner. in a race this close you would think you would want to engage a few catholics but instead she put out a video that was totally disrespectful of catholics. donald trump is walking the walk while she talks the talk but what is so incredible is the media doesn't even care if she worked at mcdonald's, they aren't interested in checking it out. they just want to make fun of him. finally they called it a political stunt -- as if kamala

at the border wall after they cleaned it all up, that wasn't a political stunt? how about tim walz? good old hunter who can't even load his own shotgun. it's kind of crazy. finally the exhaustion when she says trump is exhausted and he outworked her all weekend. >> dana: how do you see it, richard? >> richard: thanks for having me back. i thought it was a good look for him to go to mcdonald's i think there's a juxtaposition between going with mcdonald's and actually connecting with the folks who worked at mcdonald's, there was a time when kamala harris worked at mcdonald's, she did it at the semester when she was at harvard university where it -- that's what folks did, they went home from college and made some extra money to pay for books. in today's day and age there's a lot of working families who depend on mcdonald's salary to make ends meet, to pay the rent. in 2019, kamala harris was on the strike lines at -- with mcdonald's workers demanding higher wages. also in 2016, donald trump said he was good to raise the minimum

wage when he was president and in the four years he didn't do that. i think there's a juxtaposition of him doing this a photo op versus him standing with workers at mcdonald's and i think this comes at a unique time in the country when we see both red states and blue states alike, boaters in these states go to the ballot box and say we want to raise minimum wage. and montana voters voted to raise the minimum wage, in arizona, florida, arkansas, voters voted to raise the minimum wage, it's about time in the country our lawmakers catch up with that and we finally raise the federal minimum wage which is what the harris campaign is advocating for. >> dana: california did raise the minimum wage and how many california fast food workers lost their jobs? >> jesse: i like how his hair matched the fries and how his time match the catch-up. it was like a norman rockwell painting, it gives you a warm feeling inside to. the color scene was like an

one step ahead of her every single time. she's doing a town hall, he already did it with cnn. bret baier was just as tough on trump as he was to her, she doesn't have the joy, he is djing, the fries. he is more middle-class than she is and that's all she talks about. they're saying this was staged, donald trump driving to pennsylvania and seized the golden arches and is like pullover -- that's not how it works. if you want to know staged, joe biden's entire four years were staged. >> greg: mcdonald's even admitted there is no record they have of kamala working there. >> jeanine: no one in the media cares to -- >> richard: another outlet said -- nbc it was confirmed.

what 2016 was like at all. the other thing i was going to make the detroit point, the idea that she doesn't want to campaign with biden, that was going to be an inevitable story line but biden should help her do this. when he finally said i'm going to give this speech even if it was under duress he was making that decision she was going to be the heir apparent. what he should have done knowing this story line was coming is to say it's okay i know you are loyal to me and it is okay if you distance yourself from me. here are three possible items where you can say something that will may be look like it hurts my feelings but in the long run that that helps you win that will be better for me. i think that the burden goes back to the bite in the white house and they haven't been try to help her at all. last thing i would say, she's doing a lot of things but do not confuse movement with progress. it feels like right now after

quorum and now liz cheney is out there in stevie wonder, it's the broken status quo that trump is always run against and as always done well against. did the quorum thing is interesting because they found a crack in her white house. they had a trans flasher and the president sniffs women's hair, who cares about the quorum? this country is sinking. it's like she's complaining trump didn't put a napkin in his lap during the titanic, who cares? we had a guy who was supposed to be this genteel elder statesman who was going to bring decorum back to the white house and look where that got us. this country regrets joe biden. this is our guilty conscience. when they elect trump it's going to be like we made a mistake, my bad. >> greg: les were to you. >> richard: i don't know if trump did well in all of the elections, didn't he lose in 2020? >> jesse: he did lose.
