us. we're loving it. that's the focus of tonight's angle. ♪ now, even his detractors will concede donald trump knows branding. from his hotels to his winery to his golf courses to the apprentice, to his unique style of campaigning for the presidency, is he an original. and he knows how to take his adversary's weakness and then turn it into strength. now kamala's narrative is that she is just a regular person. she understands what you're going through because she worked at mcdonald's. >> i'm looking for a job and i have always wanted to work at mcdonald's but i never did. i'm running against somebody that said she did but it turned out to be a totally phony story. so new don't mind i want to work the french fry counter. >> absolutely. >> how much are you paying me? >> how much are we paying you

there is undisclosed donor, the biggest donor of all from another dark money group. this all flies in the face of harris' smears that trump only cares with the powerful she is with the little guy a total lie. she is the candidate of the status quo in the establishment they do not believe trump is the candidate of the billionaires because they have the billionaires. all of their smears, i don't believe they believe any of it. >> there is a presidential nominee running a bizarre haphazard, r rated campaign these days, vulgar comments, crude insults. >> donald trump represents is in many ways just cruel and not -- not the kind of dignity and the kind of person that we all want to be able to look up to.

get one is if he wins with it weeks from tomorrow. joining us now victor davis hanson senior fellow at the hoover institution. victor, what about trump resonates with the working class voters that was incapsulated really with that time that he spent at mcdonald's? >> it's predictable deterrence abroad, fight crime. promote fossil fuels. it's consistent and everybody knows it's consistent and it's aimed at middle class. and then there is the person trump. he wears the same type of clothes whether he is in the inner city or out on the campaign trail he is or up in trump tower. he has the same bronx accent and doesn't have a jamaican, accent, black accent. same as the crowd addressing like kamala harris.

trimester abortions aren't happening, then leftist in florida have a few ballot initiatives just for you. amendments 3 and 4 are on the ballot november 5th. and amendment 3 legalizes recreational marijuana because that's worked out so well in other areas of the country. and amendment 4 makes abortion a constitutional right, effectively making it impossible to add any regulations of the procedure at all. joining us now florida governor ron desantis. governor, wonderful, it's always to see you tonight. just as we are learning about the severe mental and physical effects of marijuana use, big money poured into your state for this amendment three. what can you tell us tonight? amendment three one big canadian stock exchange. they poured over $100 million into passing this amendment 3. they are not doing that because they just care about the best interest of florida they are

doing it because they want to make profits. that's partially true? they are saying constitutional of florida. if you want to grow your own marijuana. will they also have nothing in here that would appreciate -- that would allow any type of limitation on public use. so you look at places like colorado, people see weed everywhere, colorado actually has prohibitions against using it in public. here, there is nothing in there. they are saying you have a right to use it with no limitation. so whatever negative has happened in colorado, i think this particular amendment the way it's written, i think the problems would be much more significant in florida as a result of amendment 3. >> laura: yeah, so everyone has to vote no on that. i have been on this from day one. the "new york times" of all places just published a piece in

the last few weeks about the dangers of a marijuana use. harms accumulating is harder and more again and again the "new york times" found dangerous misconceptions many believe for instance cannot become addicted to cannabis. millions do. 18 to 25. the most damage done to them, governor, in terms of mental effects of marijuana use, because of the high thc levels, i mean, this is just a disaster. it's the last thing our young people need or frankly any americans need given the experience in other states. >> exactly laura. when colorado did it was an issue of first impression. no black market. big tax revenue. safe and effective. none of that happened. so now florida is looking at those results and it's not just the 18 to 21. there is actually a great

commercial running now against amendment 3 with an er doctor from california in which she says is she sees very young kids coming in because they package it like candy. so you think it's sour patch kids but really marijuana. so the experiment has failed. this is not something that the appropriate to put into a constitution and i think you are right that the no vote on amendment 3 is what is in the best interest of the state of florida. we don't want to become california. >> laura: oh my god or new york. >> back door you write some very deceptive amendment summary. you don't even put everything that's going to be in it on the ballot so voters don't get the full picture and sink $100 million in and voila you get to ensconce yourself into the constitution of a state as big weed cartel. that is bad government. even if you like marijuana, this is not the appropriate vehicle for it. >> laura: governor, the issue of abortion, obviously, is pretty much all kamala harris has to run on with no record or disastrous record. and so the left wants to

constitutionalize the right to abortion. try to nationalize the issue. how do you think this is going to play out? >> well, as people find out about how this amendment 4 is written. the support goes down dramatically, you are seeing that it is basically a proposal of abortion, all the way up until birth for virtually any reason. it eliminates parental consent for minors. so, in florida, if you want to prescribe a minor tylenol, you got get a parent consent. but somehow they are going to take abortion out of that and a parent will not be able to have the decision about their own child. but then something that's probably more radical than even what california has done. they replaced the requirement that a physician be the one performing an abortion with the term healthcare provider. well, lauren -- laura,as you and i know a healthcare provider is not the same as licensed physician. so you will actually have very dangerous situations where non-license the physicians are green lighting and performing

they were throne thrown out of rally after that exchange with kamala harris. grant, what did you go through your mind when you heard the vice president address the two of you as she did? >> honestly, my message was heard in that moment. so i wasn't really thinking about kamala harris. obviously, she told to us leave a rally. just for talking about our faith and saying christ is king. jesus is lord. we were mocked, not only by kamala harris, but by her patrons as welling. i think it's important to understand that we were cursed at. i was assaulted at the rally. and kamala harris doesn't care about christians in this country. and that is why we have this platform here today. >> laura: you were assaulted? tell me about that. >> i was assaulted by a woj, you can see in that video right there.

conversations with trump supporters on why he deserves my vote. that was pretty much our purpose of going to this rally, too, for me personally. we had good conversations with kamala harris supporters why we should vote for her and not vote for trump. but, there's a lot of good conversation but there was some bad as well. i remember a man getting in our face, spitting -- like damn near spitting on us. but when she talked about abortion, something went through my mind that as a christian that is just not right. that's when i decided to speak up and say jesus is lord. and after her response, it's clear she doesn't deserve my voted and she doesn't care about christianity. >> laura: well, to both of you. do you think this is, grant, a trend among democrats that this kind of disdain for christians, certainly vocal questions. if you are a quiet christian and youner speak up, then i guess

you are okay. but if you are a vocal christian and you evangelize wherever you are, then -- do you feel like you are looked down upon? >> you know, i don't feel like i'm looked down upon at all because i only answer to one person. and that's my lord and savior. but i do feel like this is a trend not only in politics but around this country. it's been a trend over the last probably my whole entire life. i feel like it will continue with kamala harris. christians make up a third of this world. and probably 50% to 60% of this country. and it's a very dangerous thing when a presidential candidate says public things against a religion. it makes no sense and very disheartening as a young american and someone who believes in god. >> laura: well, and free speech.

♪ >> laura: can you believe two weeks from tomorrow election night? but maga right now has the momentum. trump is now the favorite to win with five major election forecasters. and the rcp average has trump leading in all seven of the top battleground states. joining me now doug schoen, democratic pollster and strategist ari fleischer former white house press secretary fox news contributor. doug, let's start with you. so, the economists, the hill, 538, nate silver, could rattle off a few others, they seem to be shifting. i mean both in terms of numbers and then you can feel the kind of can you feel the change, the

intangibles out on the trail. the inaccuracy of this polling, the prevalence of republican leaning polls in recent weeks is something that's being raised. what are your thoughts on that. >> well, as i see it, laura, and i have looked at every poll and every prediction every indicator is moving in the same direction. so even if you took out the so-called republican leaning polls, which were not that accurate in 2020 but in the past have been more accurate than a lot of the nonpartisan or democrat leaning polls, but even if you take out the republican polls, all the momentum in the national polling and as you say the swing state polling is to donald trump. the issues work for him. immigration and the economy and there is a sense of failure in the biden-harris administration, particularly among swing voters that's clear and unambiguous. elections tend to be referenda on the incumbent, and that

spells ill for kamala harris. >> laura: ari, 538 nate silver said that the data continues to be pretty negative for kamala harris. >> are now three recent, i guess, high quality national polls showing that trump is leading. trump has a 53% chance of winning the electoral college. >> the economists has trump with a 54% chance as well. ari. >> i think she really hurt herself in this past week spontaneous moments unscripted. you really get to see who is this person? when she made that remark about the rally when somebody said jesus is king and she said you are at the wrong rally, boy does that send a terrible signal to christians and send the terrible signal to jews and people who support israel. when she said about someone who accused israel, a protester who accused israel of engaging in genocide, she said that this is real. this is real. damaging, damaging, live

spontaneous moments for her. that helps explain why the polls are shifting in the direction of donald trump. you can't make mistakes like that. especially when everybody is watching because they know just how scripted you are real moments cost you even more. >> doug, i see it this way. i see certainly what ari said is true and very recent. i see that butler rally, the j.d. vance debate. and this weekend trump in that apron at the window, that spoke to a lot of people. i mean, people coming up to me about it on the street, which was -- you know, when that happens, it's something different from the usual, you know, hal hullabaloo on the camn trail. what changed here. >> couple of things. first the absence of any messaging from kamala harris about specifics, laura. i think as the campaign has worn on she was worn less and less

well. trump has always been a good closer in both 2016 and 2020. he has closed strong. i think we are seeing that now as he becomes more focused, as he is more in touch with voters and as harris, frankly is seen as really offering nothing beyond, as she says continuation of the failed policies of the biden administration as the electorate perceives. so i expect it will be a close election. it's not decided. but all the momentum, as i think you suggest and ari suggests is with donald trump. and there is really very little countervailing evidence at this point. >> laura: ari, whatever you think about bush-cheney era and people have different views but just as a matter of political strategy, when you have to get your base out to vote, how does trailing around wisconsin with liz -- i know, liz cheney going to bring those voters home? i'm not following that at all.

i don't think anyone on earth believes trump is a threat to democracy and i think they keep saying it and it's not landing. and it didn't land when liz cheney tried it today. it didn't land. >> yeah. that's not landing. but there is an be unease of college educated suburban women with donald trump. this is the group that as much trump is gaining with hispanic americans, african-americans, jewish americans, you have got to keep your eye on this. if he loses even more in 24 than he did in 2020 or 2016, with college educated suburban women, that could tip the election toward harris. so i think that's what the liz cheney play is all about. >> laura: do you think liz cheney? bho, whoa, whoa. liz cheney is pro-life. she said today she was trying to put a pro-life spin. it was the most income pro-hence cybil approach to campaigning. she has spent her whole life as a pro-life republican out the
