laura ingraham. thank you very much fro spending time with us. harris cam 59 is gasping for air, kamala took time off for air time on nbc. she continues to pillory trump and his credibility, how did she do on her own? >> joe biden is extremely accomplished, experienced and capable in every way that anyone would want if they are president. >> like what happened behind debate night. >> it was a bad debate, people have bad debates. >> that is the reason he's here and you're not running for top of the ticket. >> you would have to ask him if that is the only reason why. >> what do you think? >> i'm running for president of the united states, joe biden is

1:03 am
>> in our community, we have a saying which means, yes, it means yes, we can. tonight i'm here to tell you, yes, she can. we're going to say she can. when somebody says is she qualified for the job, we will say she is. will she be first female president of the united states? y woo will say she said it. she said it. >> laura: there is growing evidence for kamala harris and hispanic vote, it is no. new suffolk poll shows latino voters now prepare trump over harris by 11 points. but how can this be? democratic establishment for years warned conservatives their

tough stance on border enforcement, ending citizenship will destroy their chance with hispanics. >> no one has come up with a mathematical root to the presidency that allow you to have that kind of negative number with latino voters. >> actively repelling those people, actively making those people not want to vote for him. >> i've been talking to comm communities across the country for the cammin pa, especially latino communities and reminded them what we experienced for four years under trump. we know that trump and the gop abandoned latino voters. >> laura: that could be my favorite montage of the week and we've had a lot. all those years ago, trump and a few of us were 100% correct and

i like them and they like me and we are seeing numbers that are shocking. >> laura: what else is shocking? how hard inflation makes it for businesses, including hispanic-owned businesses to be able to stay afloat and of course to grow. >> in the last 3-1/2 years, worst years for businesses. inflation, interest rates with banks, prices, everything, everything is nothing compared to 2017 through 2020. we need your help as soon as possible. we need you to help us with banks to stop regulation. so difficult right now to create more jobs. >> laura: help us, please. rather than downplay the issue at this event, trump made it a focus. >> i really think the biggest problem this country has is what they allowed to happen to us on the border. they allowed our country to be
1:07 am
destroyed. what is happening is so crazy. you get angrier and angrier, it is so simple and obvious and everyone knows it is true and nobody does anything about it. >> laura: wait a second, what about joe biden and kamala harris assuring us, mr. president, they tighten up the border in recent months? >> they'll have open borders, just like they tried to trick everybody. they tried to tighten it up a little bit because they have an election coming up. >> laura: from watching the angle and reporting of bill melugin, voters are learning the truth, aren't they? hundreds of thousands of migrants are right now being fast fast-tracked into the country by humanitarian parole, through special immigrant visas and via the cbp app and communities swamped by this flux. local budgets are contrained,

efficiently. >> this is the first group going to the border and then you'll pick up more people? >> exactly. >> this suv pulls up and migrants are loaded in one by one, every inch of space taken. >> we feel like more than 20, 300. >> laura: democrats knew an open border would end up with situations like that. the cartels cashing in and americans and migrants alike would be brutalized as a result. the thing that really gets me and a lot of this really gets to me, for 20 years i've been covering this issue. our border czar and mayalejandr mayorkas, they did not give a rip. they are all about compassion, they don't care because they are fanatics, but hispanics are not, they are pragmatic and

1:28 am
pollster. take us through the three states. which of them do you think is the biggest concern for the harris camp tonight? >> well, i think north carolina probably is a big concern because there has been a turn, we had a poll out tonight on real clear politics, where we have trump up by two. i had a lot of interest whether or not they can get that area of north carolina that was damaged, out to vote. i'm told by people there, they will crawl on their hands and knees to vote, they are so upset. i think that has changed the tenor of that state and trump looks good with north carolina. pennsylvania, runs both way, a million eight votes have been cast, 560,000 by republicans and -- by independences. mail-in worked in 2022 and 2020.

1:57 am
why does the trump approach connect with younger people today? >> yeah, great question. the authenticity is the huge factor that i think everybody is leaving out and it is kind of untrackable. it is hard to judge intangible of the authorizenticity and i t that is coming through because in a lot of ways, we are the party of fiscal responsibility and conservative values. considering hau forthe left has gone, we are the party of reality, which i think is why the authenticity is able to come through. water is wet, the sky is blue, two plus two equal four. there are people, prominent members of the left will tell you only reason those things are true is because of white supremacy. younger voters might be naive, but they are not stupid and i think they are seeing straight through that. >> laura: the "washington post" and other media are trying to sell voters on this idea of a down-sized american dream because they can't reach it.

just redefine it. american dream aught to be cadillac of aspir agszation, it is just time to reajust scope and enter townhouse, it is the american dream with a smaller backyard. alex, that is their solution, give up the idea of owning your own home or car, rent, do a daily rental of a car and forget idea of raising a family in a home. that is what they're doing. >> yeah, the main demographic, the main age group that is going to pertain to are younger millennials. we are the ones at the age starting to have families raise kids and think about buying a home. gen-z is probably too young, they are probably doing the apartment thing and millennials are living this life and been dealing with this the last four years. selling us on downsize, everybody do your fairir sha, we've been living this. we do not enjoy it.
