don't see. >> steve: i'm not joe biden. >> ainsley: now she is saying i'm not joe biden. she can't answer the questions on what policy she would change. she couldn't answer why she would be different than joe biden. if she would build some sort of a wall when anderson asked her about that. wouldn't answer that mistakes she made as haven't after admitting she did make mistakes. she couldn't answer why she couldn't do what promised when she v.p. carol asked her when she asked her what her major policy goal are she would like to accomplish. she couldn't answer eric's question in the audience who did you blame for rising grocery prices. she instead said we will have a national ban on price gouging. >> todd: who is going to be a better protecter of israel is it going to be out or donald trum? she would not answer that question. why? because she is worried about michigan. if i'm too good to israel it's going to look bad for me in michigan. trump would have said on that, i will be better, i have always been better.

president. >> some voters might ask you have been in the white house four years you were the not the president you were the vice president. why wasn't that done the last four years. >> there was a lot done but there is more to do anderson. i'm pointing out things that need to be done that haven't been done but need to be done. i'm not going to shy away from saying, hey, these are still problems that we need to fix. >> is there something you can point to in your life, political life or in your life in the last four years that you think is a mistake that you have learned from? >> i mean, i have made many mistakes. and they range from, you know, if you have ever parented a child, you feel like you make lots of mistakes, too. in my role as vice president, i mean, i have probably worked very hard at making sure that i am well versed on issues and i

would call him a fascist. but it also sets the table for next tuesday. she is going to make her closing argument on the ellipse, which is just to the south of the white house, and that very spot is where donald trump on the morning of january 6th addressed the thousands of people who assembled in washington. so she is going to continue right until the bitter end that he is a threat to democracy. >> lawrence: she makes that point about him being a fascist she is by proxy saying that the half of the country that support him are supporting that. and i just don't think that's a nice play in the closing -- especially right now when you look at most of the polling with him leading with independents. that's not what you want. i just think the american people know in the last two weeks they are going to hear at love things from both sides. people are already voting right now. there is going to be all this dirt that comes out. it always goes toward the republican. every single time. remember, it's not just donald trump that they're calling a

had to be reminded by anderson cooper that she is technically in support of the border wall when she says that she supports that bill. so this is a massive problem from kamala harris, and it's also a problem for voters who still do not have straight answers from her. >> brian: remember, she said this when she was trying to become president, watch. >> if you would be so kind, raise your hand if you think it should be a civil offense rather than a crime to cross the border without documentation? keep your hands up so we can see them. explain why flip flopped or short-term memory loss. very important for people to understand. that bipartisan legislation, which i'm sure she can't tell you three facts about came up because republicans were reluctant to give aid to ukraine. they said until you decided to do something at the border they worked that out that walls presented. that went nowhere.

professor, points out in a brand new op-ed in the "new york post," the voters just aren't buying it. and jonathan joins us right now from ohio. >> good morning to you, professor. >> thank you. hi, steve: >> steve: in that little soundbite montage they are pulling out all the stops. you elect donald trump it's the end of america as we know it. >> it is. this is sort of panic politics with sort of a halloween flair that something wicked this way comes. and if you vote against me. you are voting against democracy and life as you know it. what is missing from this is any sense of history and any sense of constitutional law. for over two centuries we have the oldest and most stable democratic system in the history of the world. we have gone through wars and economic crises and social crises and we are still here. it's a system designed to last because we have overlapping safeguards and checks and balances and tripartite system. all ever that has to fail for
