the series features the biggest stars in the game. ohtani and judge. to the preview it all, john. great to see you. your thoughts leading into game one. is this worth all the hype it's getting? >> it is, yeah. everybody has been kind of dreaming about this for a while. two historic organizations. the star power is what will steal the show. so many players that can single handedly change the game on each side. all the pressure in the world is on the dodgers and yankees with winning world series expectations. i know what's that like. i've been there and come up short. one of those things is must-see tv. get a front row seat and so much strategy and so many different moves made because of the stars they have to pitch around. >> brian: let's talk about cole and flaherty. cole is the the ace, cy young

award winner but not great this year. is he hurt? >> he has come back from injury this year and learned how to pitch in a different way. he is actually benefiting from learning how to use his pitchers in different ways and not rely so much. when you are healthy and throw it wherever you want it is a fun sport to play. he has been battling back and really done a nice job since his injury. for the dodgers they got jack flaherty to do this exact thing. hometown kid. both neat stories. grew up rooting for the team they're playing for and now pitching in the world series. can't make that up. >> brian: john, it's so interesting you have a lot of sub stories. first time ohtani in the world series and judge. their numbers are unbelievable. a guy like bolty. pictures of him at nine years old watching the yankees hoping to catch toilet paper streams as

jeter and the bunch celebrate their last world championship. that is a perfect scenario. >> it is. when you think about him growing up there and on a chance with the stage with all the pressure in the world replacing one of the great short stops of all time for the yankees and the story lines are there. on the table to be served. so it will be a lot of fun. there will be unsung heroes somewhere on each team. all the focus will be on the stars but it is these kinds of moments where a player like edmond get a chance to shine and get a chance to show the world how good they really are. >> brian: stanton for the yankees. what did you learn about both teams in the playoffs >> the biggest thing is yankees are playing good baseball at the best time of the year and gotten some big hits out of stanton. the focus will be on judge and soto. for the dodgers roberts did an incredible job. they are beat up.
