10:00 pm
friends. okay, jesse, let the record show i have no hair on my back. my back is clean. it is beautiful. i don't wax it. i don't want you to get the wrong idea. keep going. here. yeah, yeah. katie wants to get one more thing. fine. katie. jesse watters, prime time trump derangement syndrome therapist. oh, he treats tds tonight on jesse watters primetime. that's all you have to say? no, i want to give more time to katie. thank you very much, jesse. i appreciate it. all right. big shout out to all the finalists of the national journalism center's dow prize for excellence in journalism. the award highlights investigative journalists who exhibit both courage and accuracy. three big categories. the winner is announced next month. and last year, matt taibbi, barry weiss and michael shellenberger won the award for the twitter files. so looking forward to the winner. congratulations. or been nominated. that's great. all right, that's it for us. have a great night and a great weekend. welcome to jesse watters. prime time tonight cnn
10:01 pm
pressed her on it. would you have done anything different? do you regret anything? and she said, quote, i think we did the right thing. she said that things can't get much worse for kamala. she is extremely vulnerable, more vulnerable than she deserves to be. do you agree that donald trump does meet the definition of a fascist? you know, caitlyn, i do. what's behind the hitler hoax. open your eyes to the danger that this man poses to our country. the polls are not good. he's a nepo, baby, incompetent mother who is mentally disintegrating in front of our eyes. trump derangement syndrome is spreading. it is time to panic. plus, you're hungry. hey, ma, can we get some meatloaf? 11
10:02 pm
days away from election day. and democrats feel like they need a therapist. democrats are, like, kind of a tight race, and they relapsed into profound depression and a depressed party is not a winning party. so anything that i can do to address that kind of depression, i'm glad to do it. so if you're a democrat and you're suffering from election anxiety, james carville is offering his services. hopefully not in that way, but he did say anything. for the first time ever, trump is tied going into election day. he always goes in down. let that sink in. it's the tightest race in a half a century. and behind the scenes, democrats are worried she can't stretch herself across the finish line. little she does says or tries seems to move the needle. they've been waiting for her to fully reveal herself to voters, but she hasn't. she's been a
10:03 pm
tease at this point. democrats are throwing their hands up in the air and saying she is who she is. they're coming to grips with the fact that kamala has reached her full potential. this version of kamala as as good as it's ever going to get after the cnn town hall reality slapped democrats in the face. her performance last night was the last straw for a lot of democrats. no more. the more she does it, the better she'll get. the get to know her phase that's over. they've realized the country is not interested. just ask mel gibson. a lot of people. i know what it'll be like if we let her in. yeah. oh, really? and that ain't good. yeah. well, listen. miserable track record. appalling track record. no policies to speak of. yeah. and the border? right. and she's got the iq of a fence post. so it's not good. and bill clinton
10:04 pm
not helping. there is a sliver there that has to make up their mind. and to them, kamala harris has showed up. i mean, she was there as vice president. and what they think of her largely depends on what they think of president biden. but she is extremely vulnerabl. more vulnerable than she deserves to be. if bubba keeps this up, democrats are going to have to lock him up in the basement with joe. but slick willie is right. she's vulnerable and the far left smelling blood in the water. progressives warn harris must change your closing message as the election looms. the bernie bros are asking harris, can you stop campaigning with liz cheney? liz cheney and maybe campaign with aoc? instead, they're telling her, stop screaming about fascism and start talking about the bread
10:05 pm
and butter kitchen table issues that motivate working class democrats. some democrats are concerned that you've pivoted too far away from talking about the economy and really prioritizing that in these final days of the election, that you could end up losing some progressive voters and some working class voters because of that. what do you say to those people, especially ones who might be concerned that, you know, doing a big closing argument speech at a place like the ellipse, maybe leaning more into talking about the threat of trump to democracy and not his threats that you see to the economy. one of the things that i love about the american people is we can hold many thoughts at once. that's deep. kamala's base is fracturing on the eve of the election because she's not talking about wages, health care and education. you know, things democrats used to stand for before they got captured by the corporate class. morning
10:06 pm
joe keeps telling her to talk about hitler, and she's following orders because that's what she's done her whole life. she doesn't realize she can give orders now. she doesn't have to just do what she's told. bernie sanders, who's won more millions more primary votes than kamala has ever won, is warning the democratic party. we're going to lose if we don't talk about the economy. but there's two problems. one, kamala can't talk about the economy because she's the one who tanked it. and two, kamala is afraid to be seen with bernie. she was more liberal than bernie in the senate, but now she acts like they never met. that tells you how much of a hoax harris's candidacy is. democrats are now wondering who'd be more responsible for a harris loss. biden for dragging his feet, or harris. but there's plenty of blame to go around. everyone's responsible. this is the second
10:07 pm
time the democratic party has circumvented democracy and chose not to. yes, it is hillary clinton. hillary clinton was chosen and she had bruce springsteen, too. and what happened to her? and now we've chosen hillary clinton won a primary. okay. she won a primary. you may not like nobody could compete with her. even bernie sanders. she won a primary. okay, first of all, that's the first thing. so did kamala harris win a primary? listen, we've talked about this before. what's wrong about talking about it tonight? after what you just saw? do you think that's really what matters to voters? you're how many democrats wish whole shtick has been. let's talk about what matters to voters. do you really think voters care about the internecine primary process? if you're a democrat, you sure as hell care today. kamala harris is going to lose because biden waited too long to step down. are you serious? he didn't step down. he backed out with a gun to his head. the democrats knew biden was shot
10:08 pm
for years. they could have primaried him. you know, the way things have been done since our founding. they could have had an open primary after joe got whacked. the truth is, biden and kamala were both probably going to lose. they're both responsible for the last four years. nobody can point to the last four years and say they deserve to be reelected. doesn't matter who you are. it's not about biden and harris. it's about what they did. and now the democrats are all in denial and demand every celebrity in america pop up on stage and sprinkle kamala with as much hollywood magic as possible, and just close their eyes and hope their dreams come true. tonight we're hearing kamala is going to be on stage with beyonce, but the media has seen this before. with 11 days to go, i got to tell you to this reporter, it feels a little familiar because i remember these scenes from 2016
10:09 pm
when hillary rallied. hillary clinton rallied in philadelphia with barack obama and bruce springsteen. that event was basically a victory rally that was held before all the votes were cast, and we all know how it turned out. you can't fuel a campaign with pop stars. campaigns are about connecting with people real people who have real problems. these real moments between the politician and the people, that's what makes or breaks a campaign. you can see one connects and the other doesn't. no. they wouldn't let us. all right, let's bring it to the white house. everybody. come on. up!
10:10 pm
we have so it's about priorities. and the people see that before trump taped the joe rogan podcast, he was visiting angel moms whose offspring were murdered by biden migrants. but today, kamala is here in texas to rub shoulders with woke celebrities. isn't that exciting? but she's not going to meet with any of the victims of migrant crime while she's here. we have many of them right here. the families we have, many of them. and they're incredible people. what? they've gone through, the hell that they've gone through and will continue to go through, unfortunately, speak to the grieving mothers from whom she has stolen the brightest light in their lives. celebrity endorsements are fine. beyonce has every right to be in texas with the border czar. but that's all harris has. she doesn't have the people. she's not tackling our problems. you got to get your hands dirty if you want to be president. it's
10:11 pm
not an easy job. you can't worry about what everybody's saying about you. you can't hide from questions. you got to aim for the problem, sell the solution, and work your butt off. and if you see what's going to happen and maybe you're depressed about it, call carville and he'll do anything to cheer you up. and i mean, anything. let's bring in former assistant treasury secretary monica crowley. so they're they're not happy with the kamala harris campaign. bernie wants her to talk about the economy. and all she wants to talk about is fascism. yeah. i mean, i would take bernie sanders advice if i were kamala harris right now. bernie sanders was a very successful candidate when he was running for president, until they cut him off at the pass for their selected candidate of joe bide. and before that, hillary clinton. right. so if she were wise, she would be listening to bernie sanders, who is an out socialist, after all. but he's got his ear to the ground, he's
10:12 pm
got his ear to the people. and the other thing about bernie sanders is that his agenda for a long time has sort of crossed over with president trump's agenda, which is about making sure that people have affordable groceries, affordable energy, gasoline, the ability to heat or cool their home at an affordable price, trade policy to protect the american worker and america's industries. so there is a lot of crosscurrents there. you can almost see the biden. you can see the bernie and the trump people coming together like this on the ground with the folks and kamala and beyonce and all these people just floating up in the sky where hollywood lives. well, it's almost like they have learned nothing from 2016. you know, i was out on the campaign trail with the trump campaign across the state of pennsylvania this whole last week. jesse and i can tell you that there's big 2016 energy out there on the trump side, but now it looks like there's
10:13 pm
also big 2016 energy on the democrat side in a negative wa. they are repeating all of hillary clinton's mistakes. the difference is hillary clinton at least was a woman of accomplishment. i thought she was wrong on everything, but at least she had a brain in her head and could speak about policy in an intelligent way. kamala harris doesn't have any of that, so she's running on fake joy. she's running on vibes, and she's running on bruce springsteen. i don't think that that's a winning message. does that turn people off when you see a candidate like kamala, who we don't really know much about, go out and immediately not hang out with people, hang out with bruce, hang out with tyler perry, hang out with celebrities who are famously wealthy, disconnected from regular people. is that more of a hindrance to her than it would help? well, i don't know what you're talking about. jesse bruce springsteen is totally relatable to the to the mother who was trying to decide
10:14 pm
between groceries and medicine for her children each week. because biden and harris have created this inflationary spiral that is crushing the middle class. so, look, it's not that kind of like fun election where it's about like, concepts. people are getting hurt. yes, you can only run that kind of campaign if you have political talent, which she has none. and also if you have the luxury of a booming economy and you've got world peace, then you can run with bring on hollywood, talk about, bring on bruce lee. right. but she, she and joe biden have created an historic disaster. president trump is out there with the people all day. every day. he goes to them where they are, whether it's the bodega in harlem, whether it's at that mcdonald's in pennsylvania. he talks to the working men and women, the forgotten men and women of this country. and i have a feeling come november 5th, they're going to reward him once again. yeah. and she's closing out her campaign in washington, giving a speech in washington. isn't that just
10:15 pm
perfect? how dumb is that? it's so perfect. it's so on brand for her. it really is. all right, monica crowley, thank you so much. you bet. fox news alert multiple explosions in iran's capital, tehran. trey yingst is in tel aviv with the latest. trey. yeah. jesse. good evening. fox news can confirm that israel is launching an attack against iran in response to a ballistic missile attack earlier this month, and various attacks by iranian proxies. i'm told by a senior official here in tel aviv that this attack is meant to send a message of deterrence to the iranian regime. it is limited in scope. a separate official telling fox news tonight that only military targets were hit, and that no energy infrastructure and no oil infrastructure was on the target list for the strikes that took place tonight. this event does appear to be ongoing at this moment. we received one statement from the israeli military saying in response to months of continuous attacks from the regime in iran against
10:16 pm
the state of israel, right now, the israel defense forces are conducting precise strikes on military targets in iran. again, confirming that the israelis are limiting the scope of this attack tonight. they want to give the iranian regime an off ramp in all of this. but they also want to assure that there will be no further ballistic missile attacks against their country. remember, all of this began on october 7th when hamas, one of iran's proxies in gaza, launched a cross-border attack into southern israel, killing around 1200 israeli soldiers and civilians. just one day later, iran's largest proxy in the region, hezbollah, got involved in the fight. then the iran backed houthis in yemen. you have also iran backed iraqi shia militias in iraq and syria. jessie, thanks so much. try. well, hillary clinton, she did it again. okay, y'all, we got ten orders coming in. starting a business is never

instantly with code tv prize picks. run your game. so donald trump's going all out in the final stretch this weekend. he's going on rogan holding massive rallies in swing states. we're hearing he's going to virginia. then he's going to the world's most famous arena, madison square garden. msg is an iconic venue where legends from every generation have performed. muhammad ali, billy joel, the 94 rangers won the cup there, but hillary clinton's in her eyes. if you go to msg, you're a nazi. one other thing that you'll see next week, caitlyn, is trump actually reenacting the madison square garden rally in 1939. neo nazis, fascists in america were lining up to
10:23 pm
essentially pledge their support for the kind of government that they were seeing in germany. so i don't think we can ignore it now. it may be a leap for some people, and a lot of others may think, i don't want to go there. i don't want to say that, but please open your eyes to the danger that this man poses to our country. well, we opened our eyes and saw another politician who held a rally at the garden. his name is bill clinton. the dnc was at msg in 92. and look who's on stage. hillary. does hillary think that swing state democrat senators praising trump policies are fascists too? because that's what they're doing. if trump's a fascist, then kamala shook a fascists hand before she debated him. it means chuck schumer was giggling next to a fascist at the al smith dinner. it means cnn held a fascist town hall. it means kamala likes fascist
10:24 pm
policies, too. no tax on tips. border wall, chinese tariffs. she stole the fascist playbook. i know it's stupid. democrats have been calling republicans nazis. from nixon to reagan to bush. and now trump. they're talking nazi because they can't talk policy. how could they? they've been in office for four years and the results are a catastrophe. here's what's happening in chicago. you've given us no choice. we got to go to the federal level. we got to go to donald j. trump because he's made it clear what he's going to do. this is america. you bringing these people over here. that's from socialist countries and all this and that. and y'all think y'all going to run that here. black america said no, you're not the true white americans are saying no, you're not the true latino. the true asians are saying no. you're not. i'm telling you, brandon johnson,
10:25 pm
from my heart to yours, trump 2024 no more blue, no matter who, no more blue. no matter who. alina habba is a senior adviser to president trump. does this sound like that woman in chicago cares? what's happening at msg or what happened there? 100 years ago? i think that's going to be my opening line at msg. no more blue. don't care who, although i was never blue. but listen, i'll take it. thank you, thank you madam. thank you for that line. look here. here's the story, jesse. we all know what they're doing. they're fear mongers. we've been watching it for three and a half years. you know, prosecute him in the courtroom. oh, that didn't work. try and jail him. that didn't work. kill him. that didn't work. so what are we going to do? they're having a major rally at msg. they're hitler loving human beings. give me a break. you know what we love? we love america, jesse. we are all for maga. make america great again. and
10:26 pm
they use it like it's a f bomb and you know it, and i know it. it's amazing. but this is a woman. look, she stood with her husband after he did unthinkable things in the oval. we got kamala, who has a husband with some unthinkable accusations right now with hitting women. and i am happy to stand with somebody who cares about one thing safety, protection and prosperity for american people and for our children. not to be indoctrinated by teachers who hide things from us, like transitioning them. that's what i'm for. so i will stand proudly at madison square garden with the rest of new york. who is fed up with the tish james, the doj, and the desperate attempts from the left wing media. and i will try and save this great nation on november fifth. that's what sunday is about. and that's it. well, you know what you just said? the things that they're not talking about, they're not talking about the economy, the border, they're not talking about protecting women. they're not talking about any of that. they're talking about trump and they're talking about fascism. no one cares about fascism. you go outside, i'll have johnny go
10:27 pm
out right now. ask 100 people to define fascism. not only can probably half of them not do i, they probably don't care what happened 70 years ago in europe. it has nothing to do with today 100% true. you know what? every time you look at that town hall, every time and any time kamala has ever spoke, they ask her about policies. she can't define them. what she'll do is distract you and talk about trump. just look at it. it's a playbook. don't talk to me about policy because i don't have my own. i'm a flip flopper. don't talk to me about how i failed in the last three and a half years. i'll talk to you about what i'm going to change. kamala. you're there. you're still in the white house. do it. grow a set and do it. but she won't. and that's the truth. she's trying to fool the american people. the american people have wisened up, jesse. and that's why we're seeing polling coming out. but we still need to get everybody out to vote. trump has got to win to save this country. that's the truth. we've got 11
10:28 pm
days. i'm here. i'm here to fight for it. all right, we'll see what happens on sunday. i'm sure trump will be on his best behavior and it will be a rollicking good time. have fun on sunday. thanks, selena. thank you. biden-harris are putting illegal voters on the voter rolls right back. i speak in the name of the one true go. oh. my mother, she's with you. she's with you now and always. you believe you were sent by god? yes. i feel like i'm betraying my homeland. please. i would like to die in place of this man. he will baptize you

10:34 pm
israel is conducting targeted strikes against military targets in iran as an exercise of self-defense in response to iran's ballistic missile attack against israel on october first. we would refer you to the israeli government for more information on their operation. what's interesting, jesse, is in an interview with the new york times, some iranian officials said that if israel limits its attacks to a few military bases and warehouses storing missiles and drones, iran might not do anything back. so it does appear this is a limited strike by israel's military targeting those ballistic missile bases and some of the airports and military targets only. we heard something similar from defense secretary lloyd austin in his interview with jennifer griffin earlier this week, that the white house does want these attacks limited to military targets only, not the nuclear sites, not the oil terminals. and that appears. what's going on tonight, jesse? all right. lucas, thanks so much. another fox news alert. legal battles
10:35 pm
over the election are getting nastier. kamala's lawyered up to the teeth. she calls this voter protection. we call it. they're changing the rules. at the last minute. that's exactly what happened in virginia today. recently, governor youngkin cleansed around 1600 noncitizens from the voter rolls. but a federal judge just ruled that these non-citizens must be put back on the rolls. youngkin says he's been cleaning up voter rolls for years. it's in the virginia constitution. it has to be done. but biden-harris took youngkin to court and a federal judge said, no, no, no, no. illegal voters have to stay active in virginia. so why is the federal government fighting this hard to make sure noncitizens can vote? the outrageous decision goes against the very bedrock of our democracy, and thankfully, virginia governor glenn youngkin, who's doing a terrific job, is working hard to fix this problem. removing illegal voters off the voting
10:36 pm
rolls should be a big priority for this country. and yet instead, we're we're scorned by a judge. this is blatantly un-american, and it's election interference. co-host of fox and friends weekend, will cain joins us now. will, are you a lawyer? i happen to be. i never knew that about you. really? until this moment. no, i, i like you, and now. and now i like you less. but you don't come off as a lawyer. which is probably why i liked you. that's why i don't fly that flag. i run the risk of my relationships going the way it is now, gone with waters. so tell me about this case. i don't understand how the department of justice can add these non-citizens back on the rolls. so let's look under the microscope for a moment at the legal aspect of this. what the department of justice says is there's a federal law. you can't make systemic changes to the voter rolls within 90 days of an election. youngkin says, fine. these aren't systemic. what happens is somebody comes in to renew their driver's
10:37 pm
license, they're on the dmv rolls, it says you're a non-citizen or you cannot prove your citizenship. you're off. the voter rolls. pretty logical, not systemic, individualized. and this federal judge says no, that's systemic. now, i would argue that youngkin is right. we'll see how this goes when it comes to appeals. that's pretty individualized. you have self-identified as a non-citizen. why is there an argument for you to be voting? the bigger issue, jesse, is thematic, not this microscope. it's not legal. why would they want to be on the record as encouraging, legally or not, non-citizens, to vote right before an election after the last election went haywire afterwards because of these allegations, and not just in virginia. everywhere you look, georgia, every other state, the biden harris administration. and of course, when i say the doj, trump is exactly right to look directly to the biden-harris administration, who controls the doj has made a concerted effort in every state to take every step possible to ensure no one's kicking off
10:38 pm
non-citizens from voting, which by the way, is a federal crime. they keep saying, oh, illegals can't vote, right? and then right before the election, they go, but we're going to want them back on the voter rolls, right? that doesn't make any sense. it makes no sense. look. and then there is even an overarching theme above what we're talking about. and trump alludes to it. how about some confidence in our elections when you do this? we all know that there is a great american, a great percentage of the american public that says, i simply don't have confidence in an election process. and there's a multitude of reasons why, including the fact we can't seem to do it in a reasonable amount of time, call an election. only florida does it that night. yeah, right. you might want to instill confidence in the process of electing a president in america. you know, it also doesn't instill confidence when we have video of wanda up in connecticut stuffing boxes on tape, and she works for the mayor or pennsylvania or penn just had that news of
10:39 pm
registrations that were fraudulent to the tune of several thousand in pennsylvania that looked like fraudulent registrations. that's going on right now. instill confidence in america. are you going to early vote? i have to early vote. i have to absentee vote because i'm in new york way too often, and i am a texan and a lawyer, but a texan. so is your vote in? yeah. it's in. all right. so you've already banked it. banked. have you seen these numbers out of pennsylvania much better than last time out of georgia. out of nevada? yes. does that make you feel overconfident or are you still in what, traumatized over the last election? anything's possible. i have seen all the numbers coming in in various states when it comes to early voting and mail-in balloting. and let's put it this way, jesse, it looks different in 2020. it looks you're not going to say better. it looks different than are you? are you trying to i think there are reasons for donald trump to feel very confident as compared to 2020. okay. but you're going to psychologically brace yourself for anything is
10:40 pm
possible. yeah. i don't i don't like overconfidence. all right. he didn't say red wave. all right. he didn't say he didn't say landslide board up 20 and 2020. and he's a lawyer. so that should tell you something will cain. we'll watch him tomorrow because we have to. texas senator ted cruz joins me now. all right, senator, before we talk politics, you're seeing missiles flying all over the middle east now into tehran. what is that going to do to this election? well, look, it illustrates just how the entire world has gotten more dangerous, the incredible weakness of joe biden and kamala harris as commander in chief. you look when donald trump was president, we had peace and prosperity. in fact, we had peace flowering in the middle east. and the abraham accords being signed. now we've had israel at war for over a year. we had october 7th. and i got to say this was funded by joe biden and kamala harris. they gave over $100 billion to
10:41 pm
iran. and right now, what the president should say, that joe biden has not said is america stands unequivocally with israel. period. the end. that's what we should say. and you know what? when donald trump is reelected, that's what he's going to say. all right. because this wasn't like this when donald trump was presiden. iran was broke. he had the abraham accords. oil prices were manageable. it's all just blown up to smithereens. we got to get it back under control. texas seems to be the epicenter of the race right now. you got trump down there with rogan. you got kamala with beyonce. why is texas the hot spot tonight? well, you had both presidential candidates in texas. i was with president trump today in texas. he gave a fantastic press conference focused on the human tragedy of the border invasion and illegal immigration, focused on the victims of illegal immigrants. people like jocelyn nungaray, the beautiful 12 year old girl raped and murdered by illegal
10:42 pm
aliens, released by joe biden and kamala harris. kamala harris was in texas at the same time, of course, didn't talk about illegal immigration at all. she was with my opponent, colin allred, and i got to say, colin allred is kamala harris. they are both open border radicals. and the reason kamala harris was there is because chuck schumer has been explicit. i am his number one target in the country. they are flooding cash into this state. jesse. chuck schumer just yesterday put another 5 million into this race. he's spending over $100 million trying to beat me. so i would encourage your viewers, please go to ted cruz .org, ted cruz.org. we have cash coming in from every direction. $5 million of brand new tv attack ads today from chuck schumer. we're going to win. but the last poll that came out in this race showed it as a one point race. so i need your help at ted cruz .org right now. it's going to be tight. usually these senate democrat candidates don't want to be seen with kamala up here in the northeast pennsylvania.
10:43 pm
none of these guys i don't know kamala who's kamala scheduling conflict. what does that say about kamala harris. that she's she's that unpopular. that in competitive races in america, no one wants anything to do with her? well, she can't defend her record and nobody else can as well. it's why you look back to when kamala debated president trump. and the first question asked of her was, are you better off now than you were four years ago? and she rather famously said, look, i was raised in the middle class. the ultimate non sequitur. so bad, even even snl mocked her for it. she can't argue her record is a success. and by the way, kamala harris's record is the same as colin allred's. they're both open border radicals, high taxes, high inflation. and, you know, going back to your opening question about israel, both kamala harris and colin allred have undermined israel repeatedly. colin allred voted against providing emergency weapons to israel, and he has
10:44 pm
supported kamala harris radical policy of giving $100 billion to iran, while the ayatollah chants death to america and death to israel, and funds hamas and hezbollah. kamala harris and colin allred have been funding that rabid israel hate and rabid america hate. and we need a strong commander in chief again. when donald trump was president, i'll tell you, i was there when we opened our new embassy in jerusalem. it was a moment. it was an extraordinary moment. on the 70th anniversary of the creation of the modern state of israel. and president trump stood strong on our enemies were afraid of us. the weakness we have today from the commander in chief has made the world more dangerous. and that's what makes the presidential race so important. and it's also what makes the senate race so important, because the difference between my record and colin allred's record is night and day. all right. they can never turn texas blue. this country will never be the same. all right, ted cruz, have a great weekend. keep working hard. so what's

at walmart and drink circle.com. election season is stressful. it can bring out the worst in people. republicans got a little angry after the last election and now the left is getting angry before this one. it's two weeks till the election. i'm getting a lot of texts and feeling a lot of people panicking, and then other people saying, no, no, no, don't panic, don't panic. and i think those people are wrong. it is time to panic. okay. i'm just going to call it like i see it. the polls are not good. trump has the momentum. he's a nepo baby, incompetent mother who is mentally disintegrating in front of our eyes. and his voters don't seem to care. so it's going to be up to the rest of us insane people to save this country, save the economy.
10:51 pm
that was billy eichner, who calls himself a comedian. he has a severe case of trump derangement syndrome, and he's a super spreader. trump is eliminating music from the constitution. yes. it's people like billy who make the rest of us not want to talk politics. some people are afraid to even talk about current events because of people like billy. no one wants to be screamed at or shamed for the way they vote. it drives some republicans into the closet, especially here in cities. it's a phenomenon called the shy trump voter. the psychotherapist who coined the term, told business insider that being a trump supporter can carry a social risk. quote, for some, publicly supporting trump could invite criticism or ostracism from friends, family or colleagues who hold opposing views. these people fear
10:52 pm
judgment or social consequences, and this leads them to conceal their political beliefs. people may feel torn between their personal beliefs and the need to conform to social norms or expectations. this makes sense when you look at the polls. an overwhelming majority of the country thinks we're on the wrong track and say trump's better on all the major issues, but the polls are tied. we're about to find out how many shy trump voters are out there. psychotherapist and author of be fearless jonathan alpert. so jonathan, you've been speaking to some clients over the course of several years during the trump administration. the biden administration. how have the trump derangement population of people changed over this course of time? well, jesse, i'm a real clinician, so i can't use that term. but it's a thing for sure. i think we need to go
10:53 pm
back to 2016. and after trump won the election, i had people coming into my office. they were packing their bags. they were moving to canada. they were withdrawing their investments. and frankly, they wanted trump dead. and i would, you know, gently nudge and say, you know, maybe you need to rethink that. it may not be the healthiest thinking and maybe the very reason you should stay in this country is because you can go out there and protest in front of trump tower, and they didn't like it. some people fired me. they didn't like to be confronted. but fast forward to 2024, and we're seeing the same rhetoric after the assassination assassination attempt in july, there are people who were disappointed that the shooter missed. wow. and again after that in florida. so this is a real problem. and if you're at the point where you actually want a political figure dead, you probably need to check in with someone like me. oh my god. so they are bloodthirsty and they

have major problems and it's scaring the heck out of the rest of the country because now people are just afraid to talk politics. what does it mean when people are projecting like this? well, it is jesse, and we have people who are afraid to come out and proudly say they're voting for trump. they're afraid of being ostracized. one one person that i work with, she's 30 something. she takes a cooking class, and the people in her class, they get around and they complain about trump, and they just assume that she also feels the same way. and as a liberal and she's not, she's she supports trump. she's a moderate and she's just afraid to speak her mind. and there's a lot of people out there like that. i'm sure. why does donald trump terrorize the emotions of so many people just by being himself? what is it? you know, i think a lot of people have trouble accepting the fact that
