even being tied to down a bit. i would say this: americans are having to adjust their all. their big dreams under this economy. that's what you are talking about. it's not that more jobs don't get this or that but they are having to adjust and not positively. >> bret: adjust to, the countdown is on. >> larry: trump is on the offense, kamala is on the defense. >> jessica: cutting into his lead on the economy in every battle ground state. >> bret: it's such a good panel i don't want to leave 7:00 is coming. tomorrow "special report" we are on the road in pennsylvania for special election coverage, rejosh shapiro;we will do it fad still unafraid. >> harris: amen. >> bret: "the ingraham angle" is now. >> laura: good evening, everyone, i'm laura ingraham this is "the ingraham angle" from washington tonight. i have to say happy anniversary to the ingraham angle. we launched our show seven years
4:01 pm
ago tonight. and you, the viewers, and our entire fox family made the show's success possible. so i want to thank you all very much as always for watching. >> laura: first he was a businessman, then he was president, right? then, well, fry guy at mcdonald's? and now looks like trump picked up another job, garbage man. >> like my garbage truck? this truck is in honor of kamala and joe biden. i think that the comment made by really both of them because there are really two of them about being garbage, maybe 250 million people. they shouldn't be talking. that's like deplorable -- this is the deplorable for hillary. and i think this is worse, actually. for joe biden to make that statement, it's really a disgrace. >> laura: okay. that was brilliant. the mcdonald's stop was brilliant. and we always say make america
4:02 pm
great again. i think make campaigns fun again. okay? we all need to laugh. we all need to have a little fun. but that really does illustrate the every man approach that trump has been trying to take as this campaign has moved on. and also taking their insults and their vitriol and kind of turning it against them and then in some cases just having a little fun. brilliant move, whoever came up with that, gold star. and that brings us to to love and hate, that's the focus of tonight's angle. >> laura: now, in a warped way, joe biden's remarks last night about trump and his voters were refreshing. only because he spoke the quiet part out loud. >> the other day i speak at his rally called puerto rico a floating island of garbage. let me tell you something i don't know the puerto rican that i know or puerto rico where i'm -- my home state of delaware, they are good, decent,
4:03 pm
honorable people, the only garbage i see floating out there is his supporters, his demonization seems unconscionable and it's unamerican. it's totally contrary to everything we have done. >> laura: now, of course, the white house and all their media pals try to clean up joe's remarks. but we all know he meant them. and remember he is the same fellow who called the country systemically racist in the december of 2020. talk about hatedful. >> joe biden's comments were the direct result of kamala's and tim walz. to say portray everyone who isn't voting for them as evil or subhuman. we know it's what they believe look how they have treated you, do you know what the truth is? they treated our whole country like garbage, whether they meant to or not because they are grossly incompetent people and they destroyed our country.
4:04 pm
>> laura: now, not only did biden steal kamala's thunder last night, he undercut the theme of her so-called closing pitch, which was unity and cooperation. >> unlike donald trump i don't believe people who disagree with me are the enemy. he wants to put them in jail. i'll give them a seat at the table. for too long we have been consumed with too much division, chaos, and mutual distrust. and it can be easy then to forget a simple truth. it doesn't have to be this way. >> laura: you bet. and after tuesday we hope it won't be this way. of course, there is a good reason though, right, for americans to distrust washington, d.c. and, of course, the mess that kamala helped create. she opened our border, she flooded our country with illegals, which i think is treasonous. she drove up inflation with insane spending, and, of course,
4:05 pm
destroyed our energy independence to drive up gas prices. now, you think that might have caused some of the chaos that american families are feeling with their budgets? how about for young people trying to buy a house? for young women raped or threatened by migrants? so, if they don't hate america, then why did they punish americans with these policies? why did kamala and joe fling open the border which they knew would cause pain, suffering, and, yes, even death to american citizens? why? a few days ago a retired green bay police officer was allegedly killed by an illegal in a hit and run. and yesterday, in louisiana, 17-year-old louise afarrow, here illegally was arrested after he admitted to molesting two boys ages 4 and 7 and filming the heinous acts. police believe there are more
4:06 pm
victims. so kamala says she lost america. how do you love a country if you enacted policies that allowed this to happen in the united states? how does she love america when she refuses to change her policies being we all know, again, he meant them and that kamala and most radical supporters agree with them. that's why beyond being stepped on by joe, her speech last night was so ineffective. it was also bizarre because it was internally inconsistent and ultimately hateful denigrating trump with smears and lies. >> donald trump intends to use the united states military against american citizens who
4:07 pm
simply disagree with him. he has an enemy's list of people he intends to prosecuted. nearly 250 years ago, america was born when we rested freedom from a petty tyrant. they didn't do that only to see us submit to the will of another petty tyrant. we are not a vessel for the schemes of wannabe dictators. >> laura: very, very unifying and uplifting. once again, trump is a fascist. how original? it's so boring. and, of course, she believes that americans supporting him, of course, they have to be fascist too or just really stupid. whatever it is, it's hateful. but none of this as trump aloaded to should surprise us these insults come in long line another.
4:08 pm
hillary's, mitchell first time i'm proud. and of course america is intrinsically racist which they have all proclaimed. now although at times they have hidden it they have always, always harbored a hatred of our history framework, current court of serious christians, of conservative media or anyone who thinks for themselves, certainly they hate this show, probably most of you. and their hatred stands in stark contrast to the movement trump started. it's one that's overwhelmingly bound by a love of country this why they don't understand why trump himself remains so popular. think about it after they tried to jail him on political charges. after they tried to bankrupt him with lawsuits impeach him tries. few democrats really no democrats predicted that twriewmp not only endure all of
4:09 pm
these attacks but expand his coalition and then emerge out of it more popular than ever so what explains this? love. more americans than ever understand that only a man driven by a deep love of country would stay in this fight, other would have left it a long time ago, not just stay in the fight but yell fight, fight, fight after a would be assassin tried to kill him. who wouldn't admire this? who doesn't want to return to the country we had in 2019 i want to live in a country where we feel safe again. >> as the father of a 13-year-old daughter i want nothing with the best with her. with trump we know that the market does good. crime is down. >> the country is in a good place. >> we love our country. we want to see the same policies back in place when trump left office. you know, low inflation, tax
4:10 pm
cuts, secure border. >> laura: they all remember the way it was. so, when kamala says we're not going back, those people want to go back to peace and prosperity. we all do. and trump's defiance and his determination let's face it associated with american politicians. democrats, expose them. and that he calls out their cynical ways. which he is doing effectively down the homestretch. >> kamala has been comparing her political opponents to the most evil mass murderers in history. and now speaking on a call for her campaign last night, joe biden finally said what he and kamala really think of our supporters. he called them garbage. [boos] and they mean it. my response to joe and kamala is very simple.
4:11 pm
you can't lead america if you don't love americans. you just can't. >> laura: 100 percent correct. can you only rule over a country you hate. you can't lead it with love if you have done what you have done to it knowing what was going to happen. and they knew now this is why biden and harris never changed course despite what they're doing to the economy, the immigration, the border, they didn't care who they hurt as a result our collateral damage punish and remake america. contrast america's dark message and lousy record with trump's message today i'm here today with a message of hope for all americans. i will end inflation. i will stop the massive invasion
4:12 pm
of criminals into our country i 8 bring back a thing called the american dream. our country will be bigger, better, bolder, richer and safer and stronger than ever before. [cheers] >> laura: and that's the what this election is all about. ultimately, it's a contest between millions of americans who love this country and are determined to fix it and a miserable collection of elites who despise the average american. so it's time to put patriots in charge of the federal government and get a government that loves this country as much as you and i do. and that's the angle. joining me now florida congresswoman anna paulina luna., tim walz tried to distance the drain biden's comments. check it out. >> well, the president has clarified his remarks, but let's be very clear the vice president and i have made it absolutely clear that we want everyone as a part of this. donald trump's given rhetoric is what needs to end. he called this a garbage country
4:13 pm
and continues on from the enemy within. what you heard vice president harris say and what i say is there's a place for all of us here. >> laura: congresswoman, a place for trump supporters at their table? who believes that i don't think anyone does. >> it's become afarenheit kamala harris does not want conservatives, republicans does not want to have conversations with us in washington let alone the average american. she is not from a middle class family. she has been out of touch and in d.c. for far too long and expecting americans to trust that she will fix the very country that she has been responsible for breaking the last four years. to put it in perspective what you are seeing and hearing is the message of a dying campaign. the reason why president trump is so positive is there is one point in the campaign every single person ever run for office will tell you when you know when you are going to win. he knows he is going to win. we need people to show up and vote. kamala harris knows she is losing. her message is not resonating with the american people.
4:14 pm
>> laura: it's so depressing. i know they had a big crowd oh, wow, can you get the establishment and government workers to show up in washington for more government. that's not exactly hard to do. but, i want to play more from trump's garbage truck moment today, again, a play on what biden said and kind of reclaiming that narrative. check it out 250 million people that's what i think the real number making america great again they don't think in terms of garbage. they don't use terms like that. it's a shame. joe biden should be ashamed of himself and she should be ashamed because she shouldn't let him do it. she should never have let that happen. i hope you enjoy this garbage truck is he having funny always say a happy trump is the best trump. in 2020 much more tension with covid and all that he really actually seems to be enjoying himself. he deserves it. it's been a long, long
4:15 pm
improbable slog for him. >> yeah, if there is anything, president trump is so involved in campaign strategy and harshest critics for example meghan mccabe is serve this up to him on a silver plattedder. genius. vote early and in person and we are going to win this election day. >> laura: all right, congresswoman, great to see you as always. thanks so much. coming up, all the details on trump's strategy in the final days, where is he going and why? next. ♪

4:18 pm
4:19 pm
4:20 pm
>> laura: all right. this is a first and this is a fox news alert. donald trump just walked out on stage in green bay, yes, wearing the now iconic soon-to-be in the smithsonian garbage vest. let's check it out. >> people like brett favre have. [cheers and applause] they don't have what he has got. few people do to be honest with you. joe biden's comments were the direct result of kamala's decision to portray everyone who isn't voting for her, which is a lot of people as evil and subhuman. and we know it's really what they believe because look at how they treated you. they treat you like garbage.
4:21 pm
they treat our whole country with open borders all the open borders things inflation should have never happened. allowing russia to go into ukraine. october 7th and all of these things would have never happened if you had a different president. [cheers and applause] for the past nine years, kamala and her party have called us racist, bigots, fascist, deplorables, irredeemables, nazis, and they called me hitler. [boos] >> they bullied you, they have demonized us. they have censored us. they have deplatformed us and they weaponized the power of our own government against all of us. they have taken your money. they have thrown open your borders to cralts and terrorists. they have flooded your towns with deadly drugs and death. they are incompetent people.

4:34 pm
others. and we were just getting sta started. but, remember this, kamala and crooked joe head upped worst administration in the history of our country by far. he is the worst president in the history of the u.s.a. and she is by far the worst vice president in the history of the u.s.a. remember five months ago, they said you couldn't even think about using her. she is grossly incompetent, right? then all of the sudden they wanted to get politically correct and they chose her above 12 other people that frankly were much more capable but what they did to biden -- and i'm no fan of his. but do you remember what the rumor is? he likes me more than her. can you believe that? he likes me. he likes me more. [cheers]
4:35 pm
but their administration makes jimmy carter's administration look absolutely brilliant. and in all fairness to jimmy, he didn't let 21 million people pour into our country with thousands and thousands of criminals and murderers and drug dealers, people from mental institutions. they are emptying out -- think of this. they are emptying out mental institutions from all over the world from the congo in africa. they are all over the world from asia from the middle east, from south america. they are emptying their jails. think of that they are emptying their jails. they are emptying their mental institutions and insane asylums into the united states of america and these two stupid people allow it to happen. 13,000 plus murders, many of them committed more than one murder. and they are walking around in

4:37 pm
coming to sing and she came but she didn't sing. and then kamala came on as beyonce was leaving without singing even one song. and they booed the hell out of both of them. [laughter] [cheers] but we don't need beyonce. all you got is me and i do not have a guitar. i do not have a guitar. [laughter] [cheers] but, if you look outside you could have sold this big arena out four times and at madison square garden, the other night, you could have sold that great, incredible, -- look, madison square garden, msg the greatest. the greatest, right? it's got to be. it's mecca for the great chfps in the history of madison square garden they told me jim dolan, everybody, fantastic, the job they did for us, sunday night, they said you could have sold this thing 10 times. we have never seen -- in all of

donald trump, donald trump, donald trump, donald trump, donald trump. donald trump, donald trump, donald trump, donald trump, donald trump, donald trump, donald trump, donald trump, trump. so this outfit, you know, is when he called us all garbage, how stupid. what a stupid word. that blows deplorable away, don't you think? of course i thought irredeemable when she said deplorable or irredeemable. i thought irredeemable was actually worse. deplorable seemed to catch on. this garbage stuff blows it away. i'm in this beautiful plane, i'm enjoying myself. have a wonderful suit on. 4:45 pm
i got 25,000 people standing outside, got all these people here. there's no way i'm wearing it on stage. they said oh, okay, sir. i said get me my jacket. but, if you did -- you know, it actually makes you look thinner. ships. they are really like yachts. they are like beautiful yachts with a lot of guns on them. a lot of guns and weapons. [cheers] and you know, i'm a very -- i'm a guy. i love beauty. oh, i love beauty. so, i took that c ship and designed the bough a little bit differently it's got to have more of a point. and they were great building it. and it's been so successful. it's the most beautiful thing. but i took a lot of heat from other states because they -- everybody wanted that contract. one of the biggest contracts we have given out in a long time for ships and they are doing a great job. you better remember, wisconsin, i gave it to you. i wanted do giv to give it to y. i'm a very visual person. you know, i'm very visual. i don't know if that's good or bad but i can't help that.
4:48 pm
and i sort of wanted to redesign it a little bit. and we did. and they were great. they said well, that's good. and they looked they said, you are right. it does look better. it's gorgeous. it's really good. so tomorrow is the last day to request a mail-in ballot and you still have a few more days to do early, in person voting. but the main thing is to get everyone out and vote, vote, vote. we're going to vote, vote, vote. [applause] and, you know, we have had tremendous crowds. i have been up here probably four or five times already. you got me working, wisconsin. i mean what the hell do i need this for, all right? do i need this? if it wasn't for brett, i would not have done, this okay? look, i have been up here four or five times. we had one area, small area, beautiful area, actually, but small and they wouldn't give us enough secret service, we had 71,000 people. we ended up in a room with 900.
4:49 pm
so we have 71,000 people. you saw that about a month ago. 71,000 people, had a room like a basketball court for 900 because they don't want to take care of us. but, it's been getting better and better it's a little dangerous being president i will tell you. i didn't think about that. [laughter] but i could tell the story that a race car driver, you know, a race car driver, 1 percent of 1%, right? one tenth of a percent. but 1% of 1%. very little. bull riders i think that's a slightly dangerous profession. a little bit more than a race car driver but very little. much less than 1%. president, i don't want to tell you the percentage but this is a very dangerous profession and if i had to do it again, i would have done it every single time. [cheers and applause] because we're going to make america great again.
4:50 pm
[applause] [chanting fight] >> if we win wisconsin, i don't know if you know, it's very important -- you are a very political state, actually. if we win wisconsin, we win the whole thing. we're going to win the whole thing. [cheers and applause] and we have always done well up here so it's great and we love it. and we love being here, actually. so together we're going to defeat kamala harris and we're going to win back that beautiful white house. it's going to happen very quickly and you think of it, kamala harris cast the deciding votes that launched the worst inflation in the history of our country. she cost the typical american
4:51 pm
family over $30,000 in higher prices and now kamala wants to raise the typical family's taxes by $3,000 a year. congratulations. [boos] if he win we will rapidly defeat inflation and i will make america affordable again. we're going to make it affordable. we have to bring those costs down. >> laura: all right. this is a blast. joining me now charlie hurt, fox news contributor, "washington times" opinion editor chris bedford author of the beltway brief and matt pollster and political analyst. matt, i thought it would be hard for trump to outdo mcdonald's. i think tonight he actually might have done it. your reaction? >> well, what is so funny is, you know, tim walz misinterpreted what a pick 6 is even though he is a football coach. right now you have seen a real pick 6. the garbage statement by biden was intercepted by republicans trump is in the end zone celebrating. it is a big momentum changer.
4:52 pm
and it's effecting the polls a little bit. more turnout than polls. the polling is all coming together right now. some new ones have broken from polling groups that don't normally poll trump well and they are showing trump leading in places like pennsylvania, which is what he needs right now to bring this whole garbage tour to a win on tuesday. >> laura: you are talking about quinnipiac up 2 for trump in pennsylvania. >> laura: you are right. not friendly to trump. charlie hurt. the working men and women of the united states, those especially without college degrees. a lot of them might be sanitation workers. trump goes in with that vest and does more than just troll his critics. as a billionaire, he still somehow connects with the every man. talk about that. >> charlie: yeah, it's really extraordinary. he does it by not trying to shape shift or be something different than he is. he is still a billionaire but he
4:53 pm
is wearing the vest and making jokes about it talking about the only reason he walked out there is because it made him -- his staff told him it made him look thinner. they conned him into wearing it. and people realize the authenticity of that. just like with the mcdonald's thing. they realize the authenticity of it. and he is not pretending to be one of them. but he recognizes them. he sees them. and he even talks about he gave a shout-out saying, you know, we always thank the police and firefighters but, you know, thank god for the sanitation men. >> laura: absolutely. >> charlie: he gave them a shout-out. when you look at donald trump's entire career. i have always thought of him he has always kind of run as our garbage man. of course washington is a cesspool. it's tons of garbage everywhere. and you are not looking for some nice, squeaky clean guy, although he did say that the truck driver -- the garbage truck driver looked like carrie grant in his prime.
4:54 pm
>> laura: trump line. >> charlie: what we are looking for a guy to do the dirty work. the hard work. he has proven he can do that and he marries it so nicely with this terrific rally and this terrific little stunt that is going to be remembered forever. >> laura: chris, you know, sometimes politicians wear a hat or they wear, you know, the famous michael do you cass calculate kiss and the tank that was a disaster but with trump it works. it's a show that you want to watch happy trump is the best trump. defiant but happy and tonight, he is happy. >> he has been happy this entire campaign. so markedly different from 2020. even after getting s while weigs little quieter he was like that. bad history presidential politics all the way back to calvin coolidge putting on
4:55 pm
indian headdress politicians usually look goofy. donald trump fits in entirely. it's that self-confidence. i remembers in thing that in iowa in 2016 where you would go to watch the primaries, politicians that they were talking to middle class people they would wear a suit and ty. talking to working class they would roll up the sleeves and take off the ty. i saw politicians put on those famous vests when they were talking to the actually rich people. donald trump no matter where he was wore a enter ronnie suit and trucker hat and completely comfortable. completely normal. able to talk to folks. these last two things the iconic photography he has given us, mcdonald's, this. it reminds me of andy warhol's political advice back in the day to just have a president do an every man job just clean out a toilet, do some work and it would be incredible campaigning. capital left on the floor. going to become now part of presidential politics forever. you have to do a stint like this. >> laura: not many people can pull it off though. matt, right down to when he said
4:56 pm
getting up on that truck ain't easy. hard to get up there is he talking like all of us talk. when i saw that i'm like oh my gosh don't fall out of the truck. is he reacting in a normal way and so when you look at that atlas intel poll that came out yesterday, i know you are on this, matt, because that's a top rated poll what did that show you that result? >> what it tells me is that gibraltar got 2016 right. show trump doing better than 2020 and 2016. take the pollsters that don't normally get it right and now up with the other pollsters it tells that you trump has big momentum. let me add one other thing wearing that garbage outfit today and doing what he did makes networks like abc news ignore that issue tonight in their news, basically have to cover it tomorrow and that's critical in the last four or five days of this election.
4:57 pm
>> laura: that atlas poll showed him up two points nationally which means fairly significant, most likely electoral college win and, again, anything can happen but that was wild to see that. >> absolutely. >> laura: panel, thank you all very much. joining me now jason miller, trump campaign senior adviser. all right, jason, you got share it with us. okay. please whose idea was the vest and the truck and how did you get it wrapped so fast? come on. tell us. >> jason: can't give all the details of course it was president trump's ideas and we have great supporters in wisconsin. that's all i can say right now. laura, i think the panel is really on top of this because it's not just what president trump is saying he is going to fix the economy and secure the border. but it is who he is saying it to, which is all americans. that is such a contrast to kamala harris running this campaign of hate and division is we get down to next tuesday as americans, the few undecideds that are left people say well, maybe i'm leaning trump but i don't know if i will show up and vote. they see these images, they see he is taking it serious.
4:58 pm
they also see that they have been personally offended by kamala harris and joe biden calling them garbage that they want to get out there and vote for president trump. also, the other thing, laura, you look at this schedule in the next couple days we are going to be making a stop in new mexico tomorrow, along with las vegas and phoenix. then also going to virginia this weekend. there are states that are still in play for president trump where you don't see kamala harris on offense anywhere. that is a major distinction. final thing i will mention, laura, also got to make sure i give a lot of credit to michael whatley at the rnc and lara trump the co-chair what they are doing election integrity effort they are going to make sure this election is secure. they already filed some 130 lawsuits. big huge wins that you talked about earlier with regard to the supreme court with regard to virginia. also with keeping the polls open in bucks county, we are not going to be caught -- not going to be caught asleep this time. over a quarter million volunteers ready to go keep our election secure. a lot of credit goes to mike whatley and lara trump. president trump has the right
4:59 pm
message, good political team, and we're going to make sure that every single person gets the opportunity to vote but just once. >> laura: you know one thing that didn't happen last time, jason, which happened several times this week to friends of mine and their family members who hadn't returned their mail-in ballots for whatever reason, they got calls from people and visits from people in virginia. hey, you didn't return your ballot, can we help you out? sending them where to go, how -- if you lost it how to replace it, that did not happen. that did not happen in 2020. that is happening this time. finally, what makes you think you might be able to flip new mexico and then go to virginia, very quickly, jason. >> jason: simply the recent polling. also democrats have taken so many of these states for granted, some communities for granted for such a long time that president trump is making inroads. whether it be with latino americans. whether it be with african-americans, jewish americans. the coalition is he putting together is starting move. the democrats have fallen into
5:00 pm
this trap, i think, with the beyonces and jlos and kind of the faux celebrities. let me tell you something beyonce and jlo great, they have some good songs. they are not going to move people to the polls. if you can't tell voters what you are going to do to help them with their pocketbooks or secure the border, then you are not going to win this race. president trump was saying i'm going to make every single person's life better that's why he is going to win. >> laura: jason, brilliant, brilliant move tonight and also an important message. i love the fact that he thanked the sanitation workers. people who get the job done and sometimes they are dirty jobs. as is cleaning up washington, which he wants to do. jason, thanks so much. >> thank you. >> laura: all right. that was wild and that's it for us tonight. it's about time we had fun during campaigns again. jesse's next. remember it's america now and >> jesse: welcome to "jesse watters primetime." tonight -- >> called puerto rico a floating
