the sticking point, this was not sy systematic removal of eligible voters, but removed people seem seemingly noncitizens, to correct that if not accurate. >> todd: there are other cases we're monitoring, specifically in pennsylvania, court ruling, voters can use provisional ballots if their ballot is disqualified for errors. of remaining cases, which are standing out to you that you want to monitor that could impact the ultimate outcome of the election. i stay in pennsylvania and look at lancaster and york county, there are strawed lent election materials there in districts that are primarily republican. >> i think you are right, pennsylvania swing state with most electoral votes is significant and important for

both sides to preserve issues that potentially raise issue about integrity ever the election. we don't know the results of the election at this point and things have to be analyzed, in order to win challenges, you have to show irregularities would have flipped outcome of the election. the preelection challenges are very significant in order to essentially set up that argument as it were and if there is an outcome that one side disputes. >> todd: many of us are wondering this question, why couldn't election issues have been resolved months, if not years before where we are right now, near hours from election day. why do we always seem to wait until the last minute? >> that is a very good question and under federal constitution, each state has their own independent legislature that makes election rules and as things get underway, you are

going to see practical challenges and issues that come up more so than hypothetically beforehand. that is why a lot of issues come up once voting starts. you can have a perfect plan on paper and issues arise. these issues, they are raise said red now, won't be able to be fully analyzed until we have results and show which way things flipped. >> todd: get to the chinese student case carley read about in michigan. it is all well and good that we say, that is illegal, you can't do that. if votes from illegality still count, how is that democracy? >> that is the question here and that case is showcases the concern people have with integrity of the election, even if just one-off situation, realities is we don't know

extent and volume of this. if you know it happens once, it can sow distrust in these cases. courts say they can't do anything about it, and it will be counted makes no logical sense in terms of upholding fairness of elections. over camp occasion of election laws is a big issue here nationally. >> todd: this is frustrating for folks at home listening, especially to republican folks, it seems like anecdotally, this goes against republicans. thank you. over to you. >> carley: thank you. election day nears, we're keeping close eye on new hampshire, which could be in play for president trump. >> i'm not supposed to say it, but we are leading by so much. even states that are typically never in play for 50, 60, 70

many people from new hampshire that come through the town i work for and listen to them and hear their concerns. kamala harris has failed to close the deal. she can't get away from the bad economic policies that raised prices in every area hurting americans. in new hampshire, we will have people choosing between heating and eating. she has no answer for how to secure the border and regardless what political party you are in, you know we have a bad crisis border situation. national security, significant problems there, america is not trusted. our military is weaker than it has ever been. we have a drug crisis, education, veterans are suffering more than they have in a long time. education and medical costs, things kamala harris has failed to address and so people are looking for another answer and they know during the first

r.f.k. jr. is now supporting donald trump. without him on the ballot, take that factor out, it is dead heat. it was on the economy in michigan that -- i mean, trump was leading biden by 11 points in michigan on the economy. now that is a dead heat. economy, i keep saying over and over again like broken record, is a top issue for voters, that is inflation and prices. inflation skyrocketed 20% under biden and harris and wages have not caught up. i see the wages and there is a differential that can't be made up for. >> todd: wouldn't that skew trump? i don't understand why harris is getting it, especially with ev's, nobody wants that in michigan. >> cheryl: demographic groups, you see suburban women trending to harris. it is hard to say. a lot of factors are at play.

1 in pennsylvania, up by 1 in north carolina and donald trump and kamala harris tied in michigan. you have said donald trump is in a very good position to win on election day. why do you feel that way given these polls are neck and neck and within margin of error? >> two different things, when you compare where we are today versus a month ago, a year ago, four years ago or eight years ago, we are in dramatical ly better shape. president trump being tied in polls, having a small lead now, compare that to him being down by five or six or eight points when he was down in 2016 or in 2020, we are in a stronger position there. we are seeing the shift in polls out there. second important thing, when we look at voter registration, we look at the people who requested absentee ballots, ballots

returned and early voting in all the states and republicans are seeing huge gains versus 2016 and 2020. so donald trump is in a fantastic position to win on election day, we're in a stronger position than we were four years ago or eight years ago. >> todd: to put a bow on that first point, remains to be see if donald trump will be undercounted, other colleagues said not this time, he could be overcounted, we'll see on the watch. when democrats talk about this race, they talk about and brag about their ground game. they say, we have hundreds of thousands in individual states, like in pennsylvania, 120,000 or some ridiculous number like that. are you confident in republican's ability to counteract what democrats think is their advantage in the ground game? >> absolutely, that is one thing

derek, great to see you as always. what are you seeing on the ground to explain that move in your direction? fyi if you live in the commonwealth of virginia early voting is still going on. goes through saturday. so i encourage folks in central and commonwealth of virginia to go out and vote. what we are seeing, todd, look, there is a clear difference between me and my opponent in this race. my opponent his name is vindman. is he focused on his past. his revenge toward president trump and doubling down on kamala harris and joe biden's failed policies, but we are focused on the future. we are focused on more affordable to live and making it safe by securing our border and taking care of our veterans. what we have seen in our race we have been outspent 10 to 1. my opponent has lied about me and about his own record. in fact he has lied about his military background, lying about his rank. he has lied about his time overseas saying that he used weapons of war on the battlefield when he didn't.

and down the ticket. can i tell you i was -- i have been at early voting locations throughout the commonwealth of virginia and you walk up to folks and the first thing you ask them how are you doing at home? how is your electricity bill? how is it going to the grocery store? i know my mom personally, todd, i'm sick and tired of her calling meed from the grocery store asking me why eggs and chicken and everything has increased in cost. we are seeing here in the commonwealth of virginia, quarter are delinquent on credit cards, a third of virginians are living paycheck to paycheck. costing average family here in virginia $1,100 more and no. we want to fix that we want to be the folks that get up in january and start getting our economy back on track. get u.s. energy back up and running and secure our border. that's what people are talking about at the early voting locations when they go to cast our vote to get our country back. >> todd: not talking about the past, trump impeachment and eugene vindman situation looking to the future how can congress improve my life.
