>> harris: former president donald trump, vice president kamala harris hitting battleground blue wall states hard with four days and counting to go until election. i'm harris faulkner and you are in "the faulkner focus." on the heels of president joe biden's disastrous garbage comment about trump supporters, another kamala harris person who really is tasked to be a voice for her on the campaign trail has created a new mess. billionaire surrogate mark cuban sparked outrage with this comment to the hosts "the view." >> trump, you never see him around strong, intelligent women ever. it is just that simple. they are intimidating to him. he doesn't like to be challenged by them. >> harris: the "new york post" cover highlighted some of the many strong women around former president trump and his campaign. and look at what it says. say it to their faces,
8:02 am
conservative women have been coming out in droves with some words for him. >> this was a ridiculous insult not just to the women who worked for president trump but the tens of millions of them going to be voting for him. >> it shows how desperate and concerned they are. what i care about is defending the tens of millions of strong, intelligent women who will vote for donald trump. >> this is so profoundly offensive. do you agree women are weak and ineffective kamala harris? >> they can put sentences together. >> apparently we're weak and stupid. i don't think so, mark cuban. take a look around. >> harris: wow. donald trump has surrounded himself with numerous accomplished women on his campaign staff and his white house, inside of his white house formerly. irony in the fact that one of the hosts of "the view" made his

comment to alyssa farah griffin. she held a top spot in trump's white house communications department. while he is saying that to "the view" you have alisa sitting there and she was inside the white house with donald trump. what do you say to her? alexis mcadams is in warren, michigan where trump will be there later today. mark cuban has attempted the apologize. i read it myself. it was interesting. how is that working out? >> we'll have to see exactly what some of those trump voters here in warren, michigan in a couple hours showing up for trump's rally think about his apology. last time i checked, i'm not a political expert. i thought surrogates were supposed to help your campaign not hurt them. see what the game plan is in the coming days. strong and intelligent women across the country are coming out and blasting mark cuban. watch.
8:04 am
>> cuban's words are mean, sad and misogynistic and the left can't even decide what a woman is. >> you would not know a strong, intelligent female if she slapped you across her face. >> about what your own daughters if they think differently than you about politics? are they not strong and intelligent? what is that? >> with days to go on the campaign trail former president trump is hitting the midwest hard not just here in michigan but making stops in battleground wisconsin as well. why is he hitting these states specifically? because the polls from fox news and other polls show this thing is a dead heat here in michigan and the arab muslim vote could be key here. we went around michigan trying to talk with voters including a local imam. the key demographic is slipping through harris's fingers. the community is angie over her stance on israel and gaza.
8:05 am
>> you said you would have supported president biden but not vice president harris. >> all that she is hiding behind trump and attacking trump. tell us who are you, lady, please? we love all the women. we are not against woman or man. america is a great and hopefully one day american president will be a woman, that's great honor. but honestly, not by tricky way. >> so people here in michigan have a pretty thick skin. people do across the country. i'm interested to hear what these women who come to the trump rallies and wait in line for hours to hear his message and see what he will do with the economy, immigration and crime issue think about being called garbage or being called not smart or strong. >> harris: the options aren't good. pick your -- is it deplorable,
8:06 am
garbage? from way back to now, none of it is really good. great to have you start off our newscast with the report there. thank you. lisa boothe, fox news political analyst. as we lean into this right now i want to show the tweet that mark cuban put up. maybe we can work through this together. i'm looking for the words well, let's read it. when i said this during the interview i didn't get it out exactly the way i thought i did so i apologize to anyone who felt slighted or upset by my response. as i said it wasn't about trump supporters, voters or employees, current or former. and i set myself up for the six second sound bite. it is longer than six seconds. no excuses, can't nail every interview. my skin is thick enough. then he goes on and i won't complete this all of it because it is long. he goes on to kind of complain about the people razzing him and how he makes some humor about
8:07 am
those who depict him with long hair. all of that in one tweet. that's not saying i'm sorry. it is more than just a slight. this is a continuation as a narrative. he is not some money mogul anymore. he is the surrogate for a woman who wants to be the next president of the united states. >> harris, you hit the nail on the head. he is not sorry. he didn't misspeak. this is what he thinks of trump supporters and what democrats think of trump supporters. just this election cycle alone we've been called nazis, fascists, garbage, basket of deplorables by hillary clinton. this is the belief of the democrat party. the democrats have become drunk with power. they have controlled the white house 12 out of 16 years. they control media and
8:08 am
hollywood. this is why they hate donald trump because he serves as a check on their power. his supporters serve as a check on their power. we won't shut up and submit that we have the gal to want to control our government not have our government control us. >> harris: i guess the thing that's confusing. we'll move on from this. this is getting so much oxygen right now. and it is clear he is not really going to apologize. but he listed all the things he didn't mean. what did you mean would be my question. you have everybody's attention now. these are your first remarks and he said as i said, it wasn't about conservative women voters, employees and all of that. that threw me, too. the mavericks? what is he talking about? his former ball team he had? i've been reading some things that maybe there were issues there. what does he mean? >> i just truly believe he sees trump supporters as beneath him. i would also just let mark cuban
8:09 am
know that susie wiles is donald trump's co-campaign manager and their campaign is running circles against kamala harris. i believe donald trump will win. it is not just a win against kamala harrisist is against the system. one said if donald trump wins mainstream media is dead. they weren't able to propaganda the public against donald trump. this isn't the way our government supposed to work. it is working against us. >> harris: you mentioned kamala harris's campaign. they have to speak on this, she did after mark cuban's comment sparked outrage a new harris ad is being dragged for suggesting that women must answer to men in their lives about for whom they vote. watch. >> you can vote any way you want. and no one will ever know.
8:10 am
>> did you make the right choice? >> sure did, honey. >> harris: "wall street journal" editorial board member kim strassel thanks for the stareio type, ladies, no doubt millions of us females as soon as we've unchained ours ourselves from the sink will vote for more border chaos and debt. >> it reiterates what little they think of us. somehow women are controlled by their husbands and we can't think for ourselves and vote the way we want. that somehow black voters can't get voter i.d.s or you are aren't black if you don't vote for joe biden. they want you to submit and shut up. we saw it during covid as well trying to control people's ability to go to church. you have to get a vaccine you don't want. this is just the mentality of the left. also when donald trump wins on

and yet another comment controversy surrounding former president trump and wild claims he is calling for liz cheney's execution. republican lawmakers are saying it's nonsense and that is it. >> president trump was talking about how she is quick to get american troops into war and young people die and yet she is not facing any of that. that's clearly what he was stating. >> harris: the liberal media jumping on this with just again four days to go until election. you would think they would want to get their message out about the economy after that jobs report. where are they on that? brian kilmeade next.

>> harris: the white house is in some ethical hot water for changing the official presidential transcript. the goal appears to be to try to match that official record with the political narrative that was trying to clean up what biden had said. remember, he called trump supporters garbage. in here you can see the official nonpartisan stenographer's transcript, plural, no apostrophe. the white house press shop changed it to singular possessive. the idea was to suggest that the president was talking only about that one comedian at trump's new york city rally at madison square garden on sunday and not all of his backers. it was a supporters something possessive. it doesn't make sense, versus supporters in plural which is exactly what he said, they are garbage. you know, when the facts get you and they are coming from your

own house, it's tough. the stenographer director issued a very stern email to the press office. here is a little bit of that on the screen now. the handling of the issue is a breach of protocol and spalyation of transcript integrity. the press office may choose to withhold the transcript but cannot edit it. our transcript which includes the national archives is now different from the version edited and released to the public by the press office staff. the former president took biden's political gift and has been making many bales of political a hay with his words. here is trump last night. >> more people tell me about groceries. grocery, i've heard that word more than any other word, i think in the last year.
8:21 am
i think i've heard it more than any other word other than the word garbage, garbage. how stupid is a man to say that, right? how stupid is a man to say that. but she believes it, too. >> harris: those garbage supporters are embracing biden's insult in full fashion. i mean fashion, complete are trash bags. social media packed with videos of voters now heading to polling stations wearing garbage bags. we're in early vote across the nation now. for more on the growing controversy over the garbage comment heard around the world time to simulcast with our friend brian kilmeade co-host of fox and friend and fox radio show as well as the show one nation on the weekends, brian, are you with me? >> saturday at 9:001 nation, you'll be watching, harris. >> i'm sorry, we had a little

8:23 am
>> i would never insult the good people of america even if they supported a candidate i didn't support. i think president biden will decide what he wants to say. it is not words that i would choose. >> one more time let's see that official transcript showing now the most famous apostrophe in the world over the word supporters. it was released without the approval of white house stenographers. house republicans have introduced a new resolution in congress condemning the garbage remarks following this letter from house gop members saying americans were rightfully insulted when president biden referred to an enormous swath of the country as floating garbage. president biden's vindictive words were unsurprising given his previous statements for people who choose not to vote for his preferred candidate. unsurprising were the white house's actions after he said

>> harris: the final jobs numbers are in before the election is out. the timing of this is not good for democrats. only 12,000 jobs were added in october. the lowest in nearly four years. president biden blames hurricanes and labor strikes and, of course, all of that hurts the economy and hurts us as individual americans because others of us are hurting. charles payne calls this report a disaster. he posted huge negative revisions continue to reveal a much weaker labor market than the media and economists portray. poll after poll shows the economy is the number one issue for voters. former president trump's potential treasury pick, invest for john paulson, said government spending when arts the economy. he says he will work with elon musk to slash spending by

taxes, give it to the government and the government gives it to a car buyer in california or a homeowner in california to subsidize their purchase of an electric vehicle? that's not fair to the people that aren't driving electric vehicles. >> a person familiar with musk's thinking told the "washington post" his business philosophy can be boiled down to this. delete, delete, delete. they say musk will bring that same approach to trimming the fat from the federal government, harris. >> harris: thank you very much. a recent fox news poll finds 40% of voters put the economy on top of their list deciding which presidential candidate they'll vote for. some voters shared some frustration. >> it's $12,000 more a year for a family to live these days. >> i have absolutely nothing good to say about the economy now. >> it is hard enough right now. the economy the way it is. >> the economy is tough. i don't see it getting any

depression. things like the -- >> harris: where we were for years ago was heading into 9% inflation, 9% inflation. so exactly four years ago around the time of the election what was being handed was 1.4. so i'm confused. i don't think you want to go back four years. that's an easy conversation to have. >> america doesn't want to go back what we had four years ago when donald trump was leaving the white house he was the second president after her bet hoover to leave with less jobs when he left office than when he started office. that's a simple fact. look, all these polls show it is neck-and-neck. >> harris: we were in a pandemic. let's move back and we'll come back to you. i want to get into illegal immigration. i'm certain that some of this will be talked about with regard to the economy as well. i want to get your final thoughts on what david is actually saying. that there are parts that are performing in the economy. why doesn't anybody feel this?

of the mothers and others who have suffered from the violent crime. would democrats disagree with anything he saying? >> not there with compensating victims and make sure they are on their way to recovery. but i think the bottom line i saw a "new york times" poll that showed trump is leading on immigration issues but only by 54% by donald trump has continually overinflated many of these numbers and politicized these horrible events and acts as if democrats don't care when people are victims of crime and violence. that's just not true. i think he has tried to pervert these issues but overstating over and again how many people are coming into this country illegally and american people aren't buying it. if that were the case you would see discrepancy in the polling. >> harris: he sees the

competition. caitlin is with me now. first of all, if you could just put into place what we're facing right now for young girls and women. physically what we're facing. >> well, we're facing number one a safety issue. we saw recently in a volleyball game we had a trans woman, biological man on one side. the net is on average men jump about six inches higher. they hit the ball 20% harder than the women do and, i mean, the trans woman spiked it so hard the woman wound up having a major concussion. that's a safety issue. the second is fairness. it is just not fair. you know, i come from the athletic world obviously. from my old days. also i suffered my whole life with gender dysphoria. ten years ago i decided to live my life authentically and i wake

up in the morning and be myself. it would be unfair for me to go and play in women's sports. i would just never do it. and so now we have two candidates, this has become very political as you know. we're in -- everything is so political right now. has become a big political issue. two candidates on the opposite side of this issue. we have kamala harris who with joe biden just a few months ago let biological men into title ix protection meaning biological men, trans women can get scholarships, go to college and compete. that is so long and i am so against it. i know it is not fair. it will eventually kill women's sports. it will discourage young people from getting in. on the other hand we have donald trump who i have supported openly for a long time and in

agenda 47 he says very simply keep biological men out of women's sports. we need to do that. we need to set a hard line right down the dna. xx you are in women's sports, xy you are in men's sports. it has to do that. the question was how do we do that? it starts on top with a president who is going to protect women's sports. and then we start working down from there with all the different sports organizations. but we set the precedence at the top. >> harris: let me get into that moving away from the white house and into the senate races. they are also focusing on the issues. you mentioned the sports organization, that is what i mentioned with former president trump, too, during the town hall. taking a look still on the political trail here. republicans have spent $77 million on ads across ten states since mid july. in ohio republican bernie moreno

targeted democrat incumbent sherrod brown. >> he talks about common sense but brown voted multiple times to allow transgender biological males to participate in girls' sports. brown supported allowing minor children to receive sex change surgeries. >> harris: and, of course, as it is there is always a fire back with the other guy's opinion, senator brown here. >> what if i told you all of this was a lie, a completely. bernie moreno knows it. >> harris: so i'm curious to know how do you win politically on this issue? you don't want to insult the lgbt and t is for transgender community. so what wins on this issue and protects women and girls? >> first of all, it starts with fairness. it starts with getting a person in place who is fair, who has

common sense, and that is donald trump. we need to stop this. at the highest level. then we kind of work our way down from there. i have no problem with trans people, trans women, lgbt community. i support them 100%. in this one area called sports it is not fair and we need to protect that. we need to get on top. we need to protect women's sports by the president and then start working down. you know, i was -- in the seven 0s, you may not know this. in the 70s when i was competing. we had the soviet union and east germany. the east german women were just cleaning the clocks. ioc decided to come up with dna

testing for all girls when they came to the olympic village. you take a physical and did a dna test. and so to protect to make sure only women were in it. when the soviet union went away, east germany went away the ioc stopped doing that. many years later now we have the gender. >> harris: i do want to get in in there. the dna is so important. you can change the way you look and all of that but there is no surgery that changes your dna. >> no. >> harris: you don't hear about that and i think that's one of the crux of the issues. i enjoyed having you, thank you for bringing your experience to the show today. this election night on tuesday i'll bring you the voters' voices. our audience will tell us what swayed them this election cycle. martha and bret take it over after that with the night's
