iowa. i'm not sure any of these accurately reflect what is going on. i think it's social media now is the social media that reflects what's going on and what people are thinking. when you have hundreds of millions of views of donald trump at mcdonald's and tens of millions in garbage trucks in the spillover to hundreds of thousands of comments, what you got are people who are more into and with what's going on in not so much in tune with the polling. by the way they say the new york times and democrats are likely to pick up the phone when it comes to pulling than republicans. relative to 2020 trump is running much better than he did in i think right now the test can you get people to go out and vote not who they're going to vote for but whether they will vote. jesse: harold ford junior, great to have you back on the table.

how are you feeling 48 hours before election day? it's good to be back. i remember the sunday before the election, about six times i lost one for the senate and i 15 others for congress, it's a great night as candidates think about their close, i agree with half of what you said this is about the people who have voted coming up 76 million voters that have been cast across the country as of an hour and a half ago and the number will reach 80 million early voters and you compared to 201641% of the vote was early you probably have a little more this time so based on the population who went to vote again 56 million in 2016, 2020 is not a great year because of the cam pandemic yet 100 mil, two thirds of voters go out. if your democrat and you like the fact that there are a million door knocks in pennsylvania i think the race comes down to the commonwealth

doesn't seem as tight a message as it once was. i thought he might've closed at the border, frankly if i were him i would've been in arizona and made clear this is what i'm to do why ran in 16 of wine ready again. now he seems all over the place, he said some words solids and criticism and things that were unnecessary and she whether you like it or not, she is very tight at the end. when you're calm and tight at the end of a race of closing your advantage. i feel good tonight. jesse: you look good harold. he referenced the big ten referencing the big ten conference. dana: thinking that sports in college it is good everything up and everybody's mad still. teams that were supposed to be good are no longer good and it's a big problem. tune into the news remote will give you the full update. i'm looking at this whole thing with a lot of humility because we don't know what's going to

happen until tuesday and am happy to be patient and find out and am excited about our coverage and we did rehearsing it looks good, the static of the race the way that it's been even especially for president trump there's been ups and downs on the democratic side especially a lot of downs and a little bit of ups but president trump has been steady. i think is not in arizona because i think they think arizona is fine they are wanting to be in pennsylvania. one of the things of the new polls as of a political report it's choose your own adventure, at this point my answer to everybody, we will see what happens but i will say for the republicans by every metric this should be a landslide 70% of the country disapproves of the current administration the top issues heavily favor the republicans on immigration, crime and the economy read on top of that kamala harris has not made a real attempt to talk about a real economic plan with some specifics. so i look at this and think it
9:09 pm
should be a landslide, however, there are other mitigating factors and we can talk about those we have a whole show to do that. i would also point to this the gender gap that i've been very interested in is tied right now in the emerson college pull harris is up with women by 12 points and trump is up by men by the very same margin. the generic congressional ballot is tight as well 48 democrat, 47 gop, the vast majority 83% of them decided a month ago, how they were going to vote, there's been over 75 million people who have already voted, this is well underway in a very humble about trying to guess was going to happen. jesse: are you looking at this with humility, greg or your typical. greg: now i recalled arizona. meteorologist giving you the different temperature because they all have different thermometers, these polls mean nothing to me, i agree with dana, the contrast between reality that you feel in the experts is vast. i mean we could be wrong but i don't know, to talk about kathy hochul. kathy hochul and harris are doing nothing good for the american people postelection. if this were a marriage, instead of trying to save it there trying to take out the spouse. the problem is what you do after if it doesn't work out you have 80 million people that you called not caesar anti-american or misogynistic, are you going to say no hard feelings us get back to work, no you can have 80 million pissed off people. this is the probable democrat their way of winning an election is based on dividing the country

permanently, they don't factor in the hangover that follows the debauchery and then you have the opportunity cost of the hypothetical fears in this case the threat to democracy. in they go after the threat to democracy because they have no solution to the real threats which the judge points out no solutions to your border, threats on the border in the streets into your kids in the locker rooms, the biggest that to them is to democracy and the real threat this is the point i would finish on, we have two big threats, threat to our economy, 35 trillion in debt and let's say a threat to the power grid, whether terror or a.i. or unforeseen circumstance, energy and economy are the two most important things to keep the country alive and there's only one person that can solve that units elon musk and whose side is he on, you have to think about it the guy who has the most insight and most brilliance
