one swing state poll is wrong, the methodology is wrong in all the states. one candidate could win all seven. and they look at historically over the last couple of cycles, the polling error. for instance, in 2016, that polling error under estimated trump. if that polling error occurred today, trump would win all of the swing states. in 2020, the polling error -- same polling error that happened in 2020 happened today, donald trump would win six of the seven swing states. however, if the 2012 polling error, which was the year mitt romney vs. barack obama. if that same methodology were used and that same polling error happened today, kamala harris would win six of the seven. so the whole point is, the methodology is imperfect. and there is a possibility one candidate could sweep all of the swing states.
