los angeles and this is a special to our election eve edition of america's late news, fox news and night. >> we stand there in devoting place and make a decision. i think when you make that decision might be good of you to ask yourself are you better off than you were four years ago? >> trace: 60 minutes from right now on the east coast it is election day, one of the most pivotal elections of our lifetime with both candidates making their very final pages. former president trump ending his campaign with a three state swing. raleigh, north carolina,, reading, pennsylvania, and pittsburgh, pa. where like a rag and he with a final question. >> are you better off now than you were four years ago? >> are you better off now than you were four years ago.

>> are you better off now than you were four years ago? >> trace: he's not done. he's currently on his way to grand rapids, michigan, where he closed out his 2016 and 2020 campaigns. and what is likely his last campaign rally ever. we will take you there live shortly. kamala harris made her final pitch only in the key battleground state of pennsylvania. >> let's get out the vote, let's get out the vote. let's get out the vote. let's win! >> trace: speaking for a mere 11 minutes at her next-to-last rally in pittsburgh tonight. more than 80 million voters have already cast ballots. the poles pretty much all over the place but they are also very tight. and both campaigns now prepared for historic legal battles. so who's the next president of the united states? let's see if we can give you some keen insight. we have team fox coverage.
8:03 pm
the senior white house correspondent jackie heinrich in philadelphia but we begin with -- we begin with brady in michigan. >> the preprogram here just wrapped up so pretty soon former president trump will take the stage for his last rally before election day and maybe his last rally ever. as you noted in the intro, former president trump ended his campaign and closed things out back in 2016 and 2020 here in grand rapids. this city cares a bit of symbolic and maybe superstitious meaning for former president trump. at this rate its looking like this rally could wrap up some time on election day in the very early morning hours. this will be the former presidents fourth rally of the date followed by a stop in north carolina and two in pennsylvania. while onstage in pittsburgh not long ago trump gave to go shout outs. 12 podcast or joe rogan who
8:04 pm
posted on x tonight that he's endorsing trump. the other to an unlikely politician. that would be joe stein with the green party. she could turn out to be a spoiler candidate, especially in states like michigan where arab american voters are casting their ballots for stein to protest the bite inherited ministrations handling of the war in the middle east. >> i just came over the wires that joe rogan just endorsed me. thank you joe. that is so nice. and he doesn't do that. i love the green party. i never met her but she might be one of my favourite politicians. >> the trump campaign says its happy with the early voting numbers that it seeing so far. it says that early voting here in michigan suggest that compared to 2020 the rural turnout is higher and that the urban turnout in the big cities
8:05 pm
like detroit are more muted. that would bode well for the former president. we will find out very shortly if that is what bears out on election day. >> trace: thank you. meantime vice president harris on her final day of campaigning focusing on pennsylvania. the senior white house correspondent jackie heinrich's life for us in philadelphia with the last-ditch effort to persuade voters in the keystone state. >> the harris campaign is keeping thousands of folks here entertained in the cold as the vice president wraps up four other stops in the state by a rotating cast of speakers and entertainers. they've spaced it out by piping and rallies that are happening live in other states as well. we've been out here for hours. harris really just doesn't want to waste even a second left on the clock, especially in pennsylvania. they report today that democrats are already beginning to wonder
8:06 pm
if things might have been different for them with pennsylvania governor josh shapiro on the -- on the ticket with harris. today there was a headline in "the new york times" that said in pennsylvania republicans stress optimism while democrats just stress. the harris campaign it really hasn't been talking much about this early voting data. when they have numbers they feel good about they do share them. like when they said that women make up 55% of early voters across the battleground states. for the last two days we have received a very few hard numbers on a young black and latino early turnout. instead we've got numbers of how many doors they knocked on or how many calls they made. they do maintain they have multiple paths to 70. it might end up being that republicans embracing early voting ended up driving turnout among lower propensity voters. we are seeing a big push for in person voting tomorrow in the final stretch harris has embraced a messaging change deciding not to mention trump by name once after they expressed
8:07 pm
concern that all the talk about fascism might not be... also notable in the final stretch, harris has spent most of her time in cities trying to lock down the democratic base whereas biden in 2020, the last two weeks of his campaign included stops in florida, three in ohio and one in iowa. >> trace: thank you. to bring the author of truth, the future of america first, former republican presidential candidate... it's always nice to have you on the show. you have become very good at processing numbers and politics overall. what do you think going into election day, are you confident for the former president? >> i am confident. i think there's two possibilities here. one is that we all have our heads stuck in our own echo chambers in our algorithms and
8:08 pm
cable media filters. we are wrong about this. i don't think that's what's happened. i feel confident when i travel this country and see people on the ground without cameras or algorithms in between, a level of energy for donald trump, especially amongst nontraditional audiences. i think that momentum shift is positive. i feel good and cautiously optimistic heading into tomorrow. i think we could have a rebuilt coalition on the other side of it. a republican party that looks really different than a republican party of 2000 and in a way that grows with this movement is really about it. >> trace: it's all about demographics. a lot of the democratic party... here's the harris support among female voters. you can see she is plus 16. the democrats believe this might be enough to push her over the top. do you believe that as well or do you think there's enough mail boat to be able to counter that? >> i think there's enough mail
8:09 pm
boat to counter that but i think more and partly there are also other demographic groups. talk about black and hispanic voters, gen z voters that have gone democrat. they are coming stronger for trump this time around. we're already seeing those trends. i think the answer to why comes down to economics. you want to look at the hard-core difference of $3000 per person less in their pocket and annual income under joe biden versus under the trump years. 9% average inflation under biden versus 2% under donald trump. a big one, this is one that i'm surprised we haven't talked more about in this election cycle. income inequality actually went up more under joe biden than it did under donald trump. is measured by something called the gini coefficient. that's is asked mike that some thing that democrats used to care about. regardless of how the media spins it it's bringing those nontraditional demographic groups over to donald trump this time around. i think it's for the better. >> i want to pick up on that quickly if i can. you look at the right track
8:10 pm
wrong track numbers and put this up on the screen. 74% of the country believe we are on the wrong track. you would think that a kamala harris victory in this climate would be impossible. >> i think it is impossible for me to conceive of that happening. i think you have a lot of independent-minded people, even former democrats coming our way. we've had more illegal border crossings in the last four years that have at least been recorded compared to the rest of american history. you look at the economy under donald trump, prices stayed flat, wages went up. it was the other way around. so however you slice and dice it, i don't think people are going to swallow its, they understand in their pocketbook. they understand in the crime they are encountering. they are seeking truth outside of the normal media echo chambers. i think that's what this is going to prove. bone we wake up on november seventh i hope its as
8:11 pm
early as the morning of novembe. if not even november sixth that we have a decisive answer and i'm looking forward to hopefully uniting the country on that. >> we are minutes away from election day. great have you on the show is always, thank you sir. >> trace: let's bring in political analyst... and the author of the big guy "new york post" columnist miranda defined. thank you for coming on. it really might all come down to pennsylvania. van jones was saying that he's worried about fili voters not showing up at pete maki had this to say and i will get your comment. >> philadelphia is where we got a big margin. overall it's been trending down not in terms of going towards republicans, just people not getting out to vote. the other thing that has me worried is the jewish vote in the suburban areas.
8:12 pm
>> the jewish vote is big there but overall they do need to get votes out. >> they do. it always seemed a little iffy that kamala harris would be able to perform as well in pennsylvania as joe biden did it because joe biden is effectively a boy from scranton. he at least presents himself as that and after all delaware is pretty much a suburb of philadelphia. it's very close anyway. so she had a lot of grassroots support there. kamala harris is a liberal from california. i don't really think that the two match very well. >> trace: they had this to say today. i thought it was interesting. >> here the republicans growth and registration has been much greater in key places than the democrats. you would think that was really a telltale sign. now what we are hearing is also high early boat turn out much
8:13 pm
higher than before. >> trace: registration early turnout. if they can turn some people out tomorrow these are good signs. >> i've got to say being part of the l.a. g.o.p., we are part of that new registration. we got to over 1 million registered republicans in l.a. county alone. from summer to summer we gained about 60,000 while the left lost 40,000 with a net loss in the population of 240,000 people. so what we are seeing there is a lot of individuals at home are sick of what they are seeing and i think it's going to be an amazing election. i think one of two things are going to happen. either it's going to be a straight blowout or it's going to take some time and court decisions but it's still going to go trump. >> trace: they are bringing out the big people. they brought barack obama out on the trail today. he kind of propagated something that's been knocked down a bunch of times but here it is.
8:14 pm
>> why would you place your faith in somebody who instituted a so-called muslim band? who sat down for pleasantries with holocaust deniers. who said that there were very fine people on both sides of a white supremacist rally. >> trace: he's the former president. why do you have to propagate stuff that you know is not true? >> it's desperation at this point. this is what happens when the other team is losing. you can see tim walz earlier today where you see him getting kind of emotional about this. to me he looked defeated. you think about pennsylvania. one word comes to mind for those who are there. the keystone pipeline. that was something that had billions of dollars of wages attached to it and there were a
8:15 pm
lot of people who depended on it. those were snatched by kamala harris and joe biden. so how can you tell me you were going to fix all the problems in my particular state or the nation when you've been the person who created a lot of these issues. >> he brings up tim walz. i wonder if you think that she would have a better shot at winning pennsylvania had she actually gone with josh schapiro , the governor pennsylvania over tim walz. what you think about that? >> i think it was an inexplicable decision if you really want to win the election. if she does lose i think in the postmortem, democrats will blame her for that very bad choice which she has claimed she made because of her gut feeling, because of the chemistry that she had with him. it was suspected that it was because she didn't want to alienate the sort of anti-semitic wing of the democratic party because josh schapiro is jewish. he has come out and be in quite an effective surrogate for her but it's not the same. i think walz has been an
8:16 pm
unmitigated disaster. everyone would agree with that. he's been an embarrassment who's been kept in a corner like joe biden has. >> trace: i wonder you were talking about the numbers when you were at the l.a. county g.o.p. do you think that the former president trump actually has a shot at winning the overall popular vote? >> i think that's where we are right now. i wanted to say to anyone out there if you are in a red state like tennessee and you think my vote won't count because he will win anyway, we are at a point now that we need the popular vote. even like a talked about in los angeles, i think people shouldn't be surprised when they see those numbers come out because that win will just be the memorandum moving forward for our country that we are done with the wellness and i have officially, i know joking -- joe rogan came out to support, i'm officially gone dark mag. >> trace: what you think about
8:17 pm
blackmail coming towards the former president, is it happening? >> i've never been -- never seen some any people so proudly going msnbc and cnn said it they were supporting donald trump. this is a much different place in our country and democrats are really concerned because there is a realignment of the party. if you get black men to come out in big numbers supporting donald trump, the democrats have a major issue going forward for every election. >> trace: it goes on. thank you all. and just hours the only numbers that matter will be voters casting their ballots. in the meantime it gives us a chance to take a closer look at the final pulling before the big day. the senior national correspondent kevin corke is live in d.c. with the late numbers. >> is there something going on tonight? is there an event? what's the deal? good to be with you.
8:18 pm
when it comes to pulling, most folks can find a little something to suit their political leanings. if they're willing to look hard enough. tonight that is still no different in what we have expected for quite some time. take for example the latest survey. if you like harris you are loving it. a four-point margin for her in that poll. now on the other hand if you prefer president trump then the neck and neck nbc news survey is no doubt more to your liking. if you are looking for more objective data consider the real clear politics average. tonight it shows the race remains neck and neck at 48.5 apiece. nguyen -- here's why some people ignore the poles or are maybe confused by them. "the new york times" survey has harris leading an four battleground states nine and tied into others out of the big seven. harris op four, tide two and even in one.
8:19 pm
the real clear politics average has mr. trump leaving in five battleground states and trailing in two others. this is also from the rcp, the real clear politics pulling, it is predicting tonight trace that former president trump will win if everything holds them. however, harris would win if she can hold all the blue wall states in that scenario she gets 270 unless trump wins virginia in which case he would win 281 to 257. i'll be here with you no matter what. >> trace: we will get back to you in moments. let's bring in... to get some more on these numbers. on wondering what do you think teemak do you think there is still the silent trump voters that are being undercounted? >> there is. thank you for having me on tonight. we are in the classic stage of a
8:20 pm
fog of war as military strategist would say. pollsters are all over the map. i use my model premised up on great pollsters that help me guide me through this. and we have a great radar. they show us that there are indeed trump voters that are new to this whole exercise of voting republican for the first time. it's young african americans, it's young hispanics. for the first time. now gearing toward the republican party. near coming up through the ranks so that's what we are seeing. we will see that tomorrow in a very big way. >> trace: they said this on special report and i will get you take. >> when you add the increase in republican registration, you look at the early voting advantage and the urban areas like philadelphia where democrats are underperforming,
8:21 pm
you begin to see a pattern that there's kind of a big lump under the rug here. i think for trump that may be they have not been picking up. >> trace: is he borrowing some of your information there? >> i appreciate that. he's a gentleman at a scholar. frankly we saw this a while ago. i worked for president reagan on his pulling team pete maki was able to create the template that trump perfected. inverted the party as we know it. african americans, latinos, asians are all grabbing -- gravitating toward the republican party. it's a middle-class broader spectrum party. that is new, it's a broader base. it's going to be in perpetuity. >> trace: you've got arizona trump plus 90.
8:22 pm
georgia trump plus three. north carolina trump plus one. nevada trump plus four. is it significant? >> it's extort nearly significant. let me tell you why that's happening. you cannot manufacture pure intensity or raw enthusiasm. this is organic. it's coming up from the ranks, like a rising head of steam and it's being driven by these new voters and by these new ranking republican voters of all classes coming in favour of trump. that's why i think we will have a nice decisive victory in a day >> trace: what are you looking for, where we have a president by tomorrow night? >> i think we will and he will start to see surges in place of you didn't expect like an update new york, pennsylvania, even in the far west. i think we will win nevada. put the ghost of harry reid to rest once and for all. >> trace:

8:30 pm
donald trump loses this election, he's basically finished. [cheering and applause] >> what to be great to live in a world where he is no longer an active threat just an annoyance. >> after watching coverage on other networks tonight there is one thing that is very clear, no one is certain about what is going to be the outcome of election day. >> trace: these shows are like soap operas. thank you. let's bring in the trump campaign media affairs director sonny nelson and a host of that can't cancel rob smith podcast, rob smith. thank you both for coming on. the cnn data guy says it could go a couple of ways. >> as we stand here one day before election day, i really don't know what's going to happen. it could be razor tight or could be a blowup in either direction. i've never known less going into election day. >> trace: we really don't know, that's a whole thing.
8:31 pm
we are getting good indicators. >> we are getting good indicators. i've tried to spend a lot of time this cycle not focusing on the punditry and focusing on the breathless horse race that comes from those of us in the media. i want to focus on some of the numbers. i saw something that was interesting that caroline levitt tweeted today. that is in all of the groups that democrats absolutely need to show up, the numbers in early voting are literally tens of thousands less then they were in 2020. this is among women, among african american. this is data that is coming from crucial swing states. i don't want to get to overly optimistic but i think that trump has a much better shot than a lot of these people in the media are saying. >> trace: i want to play this. another montage. the media montage saying that kamala has this in the bag. >> she's going to blow the doors off.
8:32 pm
>> i was at the airport in atlanta and i started randomly interrogating black men. every single one told me they were voting for kamala harris. >> i think they are going to be very surprised. i'm talking about the trump people. by what's going to happen on tuesday. >> trace: you looked shaken in your brutal little bit. >> the liberal media has been doing the bidding of the democrat candidate now for many years. we saw into any 16 they did it for hillary clinton. and 2020 they did it for joe biden along with the help of social media and they are doing it again for kamala harris this go around. i will say even with 90% negative news coverage is what president trump gets, he continues to get his message out to the american people. he rises above this negative coverage that he constantly gets. he takes his message directly to them.
8:33 pm
>> trace: on the flip side of this, appears morgan had this to say tonight. >> i'm getting a lot of people who do not vote trump last time but who have prepared this time. they are prepared to vote for him this time to stop kamala harris from becoming president. i'm going on my guts i'm feeling he could end up winning quite a bit. >> i think that he has it right there. when you look at a lot of the people, there's a lot of never trumpeters who have come back into the fold. there are first-time voters that are very excited to vote for donald trump. there are people that used to be democrats that probably may have voted for trump in 16, voted for biden in 2020 and they are saying absolutely no to a kamala harris presidency and are coming back over to the trump. i think that the story that is not being told is that there are so many of these first-time voters and there's so many of these people that were
8:34 pm
wishy-washy on trump that are coming back into the fold. i think that they represent a lot more people than i think people think. and certainly more than msnbc or the ladies at the view. >> trace: "snl" brought kamala harris on this weekend. the commissioner said you shouldn't have done that. msnbc try to give the former president some equal time. here's part of the ad that ran. >> remember, kamala and her friends broke it, i will fix it. the most important election in the history of our country, going vote. >> it looks like his new slogan is i'm going to fix it and was it enough connected it compensate for what they gave to kamala harris? >> president trump got to go and deliver a very concise closing message directly to the american people right then. that nbc are...
