victory for former and now future president trump. the battle ground states really told the tale last night. if you everywhere watching ahead of time, you knew that coming into the night, there was requesting to be north carolina trump won. georgia trump won. pennsylvania, trump won. episcopal, trump won. michigan, he is leading, arizona leading. nevada leading. you get the picture. and while the former president is leading all of those states that are still up for grabs, we will very likely have results from each and every one of them at some point perhaps as soon as today. meantime, here is a bit of voter analysis for you. yeah, there are a lot of people wondering how the hispanic vote might go. yet the democrats as expected did get the lion's share. kamala harris 56 to 41. but the fact that former president and future president trump got 41% of the hispanic vote is a major story line and i think it was under reported before the race. how about among young voters? again, most people thought the dems would win that thing going

away. 52-46. a lot of young people i talked to say listen, we are broke as a joke. we need help with the economy and they also felt like trump could get the job done there as for those falling behind, financially? yep, 63 to 34 they trended big time bigly toward donald j. trump. the economy, no surprise. issue number one or two, for just about every single voter that we surveyed and the former president continues to be seen as the best man to manage that and that is why is he 45 and 47. get yourself a hat guys, back to you. >> brian: get yourself a comma. >> steve: 45 plus 47 is 92. >> brian: clean sweep of battleground states. waiting on michigan and arizona and nevada. but he is leading in all of them. >> steve: is he indeed.

georgia and north carolina, and just the trends across the country. president trump picking up historic gains with hispanic americans, black voters, turning out for president trump in numbers this nation has never seen before we felt very good very early in the night. all of our hard work, our ground game, and president trump's work ethic and determination ultimately won. last night the world witnessed greatest political comeback in american history. and throughout this campaign, our boss, president trump, has faced more adversity than any candidate to ever run for office. they tried to imprison him. they forced him to take a mugshot. they tried to remove his name off of the ballot. they forced him to sit in a dirty courthouse for six weeks. two people tried to kill him for goodness sake. and the american people see in donald trump it is clear a leader who even in the darkest of times is going to lift his fist in the air and say fight, fight, fight for this country.

and president trump last night didn't just defeat kamala harris. he defeated the big tech oligarchs who have tried to censor him. the wethe weaponed system of jue against him. he defeated the fake news media who have been lying about him and his supporters and this maga movement for years. i just know in my heart that president trump is going to be a president for all-americans. even those who didn't vote for him yesterday. it is a great morning for our country. >> lawrence: caroline, it was a complete rejection. i guess because we heard a lot about democracy and preserving democracy. two questions, first of all, have you guys heard from kamala harris, to concede, and, also, since it's time we should do this quickly, to transition the power. have we heard from joe biden to congratulate the president elect? >> well, the last time i spoke to president trump and it was just a few hours ago in the wee hours of the morning. we haven't gotten much sleep, neither of those people, joe

biden or kamala harris had reached out to him. that's going to change very early this morning. i would be unaware of it. you bring up democracy, lawrence, as we saw some of the exit polls from other networks last night, democracy appeared to be the number one issue for voters. it's clear that the american people believe president trump is the best candidate to preserve our democracy. and it shows the democrats' message in these final weeks of the campaign that he is alleged threats to democracy didn't work in the eyes of the american people. they are smart enough to see through these lies and they remembered how much better their lives were under president trump's leadership. can i tell you on day one he is going to start implementing policies, strengthen our democracy here at home and abroad and make the lives of all americans better and better. >> ainsley: caroline, what do you think the reason is? i know have you gone through some of why you think he won. do you think it's kamala harris? we never really knew what she stood for. she flip flopped on so many things and then wouldn't answer how she voted even on prop 36 in

california. we didn't really know where she was. and then she brings out these big celebrities who make a gazillion dollars and she is telling us that she can relate to all of us with these big celebrities, meanwhile, would he wewe weretalking to people on tr side couldn't pay their bills. they were saying whoopi goldberg and beyonce and usher, they can't relate to what we're facing. do you think that really rests son nateed with the american people? and they knew what they were getting with donald trump because they have seen it four years ago. >> absolutely. as we have been saying for a while, you don't have to love everything donald trump says to vote for him, but you do have to love what he did for this country and what he is promising to do for you again. and it's very clear the american people saw kamala harris for who she is. a phony politician who will say anything to get elected. she lacks the authenticity and conviction that donald trump has, when he says is he going to do something. is he going to do it.

not close? >> well, that's right, brian. the american people delivered a resounding victory for president trump. and it gives him a mandate to govern as he campaigned. to deliver on the promises that he made. which include on day one launching the largest mass deportation operation of illegal immigrants that kamala harris has allowed into this country it. includes drill, baby, drill. and expediting permits for nuclear, for fossil fuels, for an above all energy approach bring down energy costs in this country. includes bringing ukraine and russia to the negotiating table to end this war and returning to the very tough sanctions on the iranian regime so we can stop the chaos in the middle east. the american people are clearly longing for the policies of donald trump. they despise the policies of the harris-biden administration have implemented over the past four years. and the harris-biden administration will go down as the worst,weakest, most crypt

bryan llenas is live in philadelphia. bryan? >> bryan: good morning, guys. former president trump has not only won pennsylvania but he has done it with the most number of votes won by a republican candidate in the commonwealth's history and by the largest vote margin by a republican since president ronald reagan in 1984. we'll put up the latest numbers. there are still votes to be counted. about 4%. the former president winning 3.4 million votes here. 50.8% of the total, flipping pennsylvania red. how did he do it? well, democrats in philadelphia, they were touting extremely high turnout hours before the polls even closed. that never really happened. trump went on to have his best performance yet in philadelphia, winning 20% of the vote and 4,000 more votes than 2020. they got 60% turnout. in 2020 they had 65% turnout in this city. hairs, excuse me was depending on philadelphia's four collard

counties suburbs including bucks county. bucks county flipped red. and important bellwether counties around the commonwealth. north hampton and erie. also flipped to trump. already democrats and the harris campaign are expressing blunt regret that vice president kamala harris did not choose the popular democratic pennsylvania governor josh shapiro as her running mate. , a lot of people saying tonight it should have been josh shapiro. frankly people have been saying that for months. josh shapiro is a constant orator, able to galvanize folks. also extremely popular in the critical battleground state of pennsylvania. you saw in the final weeks of the campaign the harris campaign was actually running ads with his voiceover. >> trump improved latino support winning 49% of the hispanic vote. up 4% from 2020 here in

pennsylvania. despite democrats swearing that that puerto rico insult joke at the msg rally was going to sway puerto ricans in pennsylvania. now, as for the senate race, fox has not yet called it, but the republican challenger dave mccormick is currently leading democratic senator bob casey by 1 pointed. frankly, both campaigns, guys, spent a half a billion dollars here. they made over 100 campaign stops in pennsylvania. it was home to the mcdonald's stop. of course the first assassination attempt and the one and only debate and in the end pennsylvania historically turning red. guys? >> lawrence: real quickly, bryan, did you expect that? i know you were out there on the ground talking with hispanics, latino voters, when they were saying there was going to be this shift, did you hear that on the ground? >> bryan: when i spoke to the organizers, they said it was an anemic activist here saying anemic showing by democrats until the very last moment. i thought it would sway some

undecideds, but frankly, the economy, the economy, the economy. since we have been covering pennsylvania on the ground issue number 1, 2, and 3. inflation, inflation, inflation, that ultimate buy won out. >> steve: indeed, brian, thank you very much. in brian's report they said, party insiders are blaming that she didn't pick josh shapiro. there is an item this morning that says senior democrats are answering the question who do we blame for trump winning? the answer is everybody. and you have got to start at the top. you have got to start with joe biden. had he stepped aside after the first term and said, you know what? i said i was going to be transitional. one term over and out, they would have been able to have a big primary. the democrats could have felt like they picked somebody that they wanted. the most qualified. they didn't. the blame starts at the top. >> lawrence: or perhaps they can start talking about the issues. they spent an entire campaign talking about zero issues. and when pressed, she still didn't respond. they gave her three interviews in one day to clean it up and

better this cycle. his numbers are higher today than at any time when he was president. >> ainsley: incredible. >> lawrence: is it because, mr. speaker this new coalition? these numbers are incredible. almost doubling the black vote, when it comes to la dean knows doing the same thing right there. all these demographics that are typically pretty progressive are now supporting donald trump. >> exactly. the thing that people should have looked at, he was always carrying 41% of the hispanics, and 25% of the black males mathematically. we need to take this moment as republicans and not waste it. >> lawrence: that's right. >> it should be about addition not subtraction. welcoming more people into the party. what you need to do is do your job. you were given an opportunity here. because of the rules in the house and the senate, you have what is called reconciliation. which it takes 60 votes to really do something in the senate. can you use reconciliation when we come to the tax bill. you should make sure. >> brian: we new it from 2018.
