and two fellow terrorists that would spare them the death penalty. families are outraged. including our next guest who was 15 when his dad bruce was killed in the world trade center on september 11th, 2001. breath eagleson is the president of 9/11 justice joins us now. you just told me, one of the things that bothers you most you got to find out from us that this is happening. the families always feel out of the loop. >> that's right. nobody has ever listened to what the families want in any regard to any of this. what we're doing and what we're asking is we have been begging for justice and closure. we have been fighting this battle for 23 years. we have members of our community that are dying. we have parents who lost their sons and daughters on 9/11 that have since died and have not seen justice. so, this administration, the biden administration has made misstep after misstep when it comes to 9/11 families. look, they are actively lobbying the hill as we speak to block our path to justice. that's why we are so optimistic this morning feeling good about president trump. he met with us on 9/11 at an fdn

firehouse e took the time away from his campaign to come talk to us and hear what we really wanted. and what we told him and what he acknowledged and we are so encouraged about he recognized what the evidence says. the evidence says the saudi arabian government, 23 years ago, facilitated and worked with these hijackers. he recognizes it. we all recognized that it was the regime of 23 years ago. nothing to do with mbs and the current regime. we are hopeful and president trump said look, i'm going to personally intervene here, i'm going to help you out. if i'm elected president in less than a month. i'm going to bring you resolution. i'm going to make sure those documents k0u78 out and make sure that story is told and end this nightmare. this stuff about guantanamo, discussing hurtful. never should have made the deal in the first place. talk to us. we are the families. don't act like we are the boogie men and we are the ones on trial. >> brian: previous regime moabyism in curriculum. previous regime had bin laden's father as the number one

construction company with the government and bin laden sped off with huge family and only come to region that some in saudi arabia terrorist mindset like that. so, we'll see what happens. because we know that mbs has locked up the previous regime in a hotel when he actually took power. it's also important to point out, do you want death for them? is death penalty the only thing the families want? >> you know, if you poll the 9/11 community you will get 100 different answers. what we want is justice. we want truth and we want closure. it's above my pay grade to decide whether these guys should die because, look, they might want to die. i want whatever they don't want. if they want to live, let's kill them. if they want to die, let's make them live. i think the real story is let's address the elephant in the room. the elephant in the room is we have troves of documents saying how 9/11 happened 23 years ago and it was because of the help of the previous regime of saudi arabia. let's put that to bed and move forward and do you know what?
3:45 am
i want to say one more thing. what more perfect way to start an administration -- what more perfect way to bring this country together to have folks like senator kirsten gillibrand and blumenthal standing with president trump announcing a deal. announcing that we are going to see resolution for 9/11 family members and put things in the past and embrace this new mbs regime and embrace a new trump presidency and come together over this and heal this country over this because everyone agrees that we deserve justice. >> you do, brett, thanks for answering our call and getting your response. families are lucky to have you as a spokesperson. brett, thank you so much. >> thanks for having me. >> brian: you got it. republicans looking secure a political trifecta with the power of the house still on the line tipping in their favor. our next guest just flipped a key seat in pennsylvania. he will be joining us soon. i believe his name is rob resten. don't ask me now i know
