mississippi, the late night comics finally made me laugh. we're laughing at them. mandy from lewiston, maine. if trump's going to strip all women of their rights, why did he choose a woman for chief of staff? very intriguing. bob from south bend, indiana, mark cuban offered to help trump with whatever he needs. maybe siouxsie wiles needs someone to fetch her coffee. chop, chop. there's from. this is theresa from staten island. kamala's campaign was such a disaster. fema just sent her a check for $750. that's cold. that is cold. and we're just hearing trump was right about the fema situation. half the calls they got were never returned. don't forget to dvr the show. sean hannity is next. and always remember, i'm watters and this is my world. and welcome to
11:01 pm
hannity. and tonight, just 48 hours after a landslide victory, the trump white house is already starting to take shape. legendary trump campaign manager siouxsie wiles has just been picked as the president's chief of staff. wiles will make history as the first ever female white house chief of staff. wait a minute, mark cuban said that donald trump was afraid of smart, intelligent women and his campaign manager and first chief of staff is going to be a woman. anyway. coming up, we're going to bring you exclusive insight into the new incoming trump administration. but first, i want to commend the democrats who are using tuesday's crushing defeat to finally figure out how their own party lost its way. now, stephen a smith is going to try to do that. he was with the co-host of the view, that hard hitting new show on abc disney earlier today. but they weren't particularly interested in his post-game analysis. parts of it were pretty funny. take a look.
11:02 pm
so you think the republicans are sort of an extreme fringe party at this point? i don't i don't, i don't i don't think that they're an extreme fringe party. i think that they're operating against those they believe are extreme on the left. but you had folks on the left that were introducing some things when we when we got into the whole transgender issue and they were talking about bathrooms or they were talking about males transitioning to females and competing against girls in sports and stuff like that, these are the 1% of the population. i understand that, but you know what ad ridiculing the nfl? let's see. but i think that's where the mistake is made. yeah. you're saying it's ridiculous. i don't disagree with you, but most of the voters out there don't think like that. stephen a smith will be with us in just a moment. unfortunately, very few kamala supporters are like stephen. a most on the left simply refuse to think critically about the mistakes in their own party. instead, they are melting down. they are lashing out, and it's
11:03 pm
probably going to get worse. last night, former comedian jimmy kimmel threw a hissy fit. he was literally upset. he was weeping during the late night show. that's not funny. while dramatically vilifying anyone that doesn't agree with his politics, take a look. let's be honest, it was a terrible night last night. it was a terrible night for women, for children, for the hundreds of thousands of hard working immigrants who make this country go for health care, for our climate, for science, for journalism, for justice, for free speech. it was a terrible night for poor people, for the middle class, for seniors who rely on social security, for our allies in ukraine, for nato, for the truth and democracy and decency. and it was a terrible night for everyone who voted against him. and guess what? it was a bad night for everyone
11:04 pm
who voted for him too. you just don't realize it yet. it's an amazing transformation. jimmy kimmel has gone from blackface and girls jumping on trampolines, cucumbers in his pants and asking strange women to touch it. people he doesn't know to sobbing about an election that didn't go his way. no wonder nobody watches his show. he's not funny. and by the way, jimmy, the countdown until your cancellation is on officially right now. in fact, it has been years since americans laugh with kimmel, colbert, or any other late night host. instead, most americans, well, they're just laughing at them in clips they see online or that we make fun of here on fox. that's because no one is watching these hosts anymore. but it's not just the late night shows on the big networks. very few americans care what anyone in the state run media, mob or hollywood, have to say. now think about this. they were all against donald trump. did they win? now that means most major
11:05 pm
newspapers in the country new york times, washington post, l.a. times, usa today, too, you know, the broadcast networks, fake news networks, fake news, cnn, msdnc, npr, beverly hills, their influence. this is the amazing thing they all were in unison hating trump. their influence is officially done. it's gone. it is dead. now on this very program in 2007, i said journalism in america is dead. i had no idea how right i really was. here we are in 2024 and i can officially declare legacy media. hollywood influence celebrity influence in america is dead. now think about what they did to donald trump before his sweeping victory. by the way, he did win the popular vote, too. they accused him of being a russian agent, called him an illegitimate president. they spread salacious and untrue russian disinformation about trump and golden showers in a
11:06 pm
hotel in moscow. they worshiped at the altar of robert mueller like like a god, and used his witch hunt to smear donald trump on their media platforms every single hour of every day for three straight years. they cheered on fake impeachments. they pushed one hoax after another. they call trump his supporters nazis, racists, white supremacists, fascist, sexist dictators. they compare trump to adolf hitler, joseph stalin, mussolini. they said he would cause world war three. they blamed him for covid. they openly fantasized about going him going bankrupt from lawsuits and throwing him in jail, you know, by the weaponized doj of harris and biden or anyone else that, you know, they didn't like and they wanted to cook up charges against, they celebrated when his home was raided for the very things that hillary clinton and joe biden did. and when his mug shot was posted
11:07 pm
online, they dreamed about a future locked up at rikers island or some other horrific jail, joking about blowing up the white house. remember that or joking about, quote, assassination. not a funny joke, not a funny comment, and some even expressing disappointment that his would be assassins were not successful. they told all of you that trump was evil, a threat to democracy. but on tuesday, most americans. but we're just a bunch of garbage, aren't we? didn't give a about the narrative, breathlessly pushed day in and day out by the state run media mob. they went to the polls. they voted overwhelmingly for donald trump. and that's why the legacy media is now completely powerless. the same with hollywood, the same with celebrity endorsements. few americans care what julia roberts or or george clooney, the idiot that he is, think they don't care what these late night comics that aren't funny
11:08 pm
think that means the three broadcast networks, the other cable news channels besides fox and after so many lies, so much bias, their credibility is shot. nobody trusts them and nobody should trust them ever again. americans. instead, they have sought out alternative sources of information at talk radio shows that they like, including mine. we are on 750 stations, the fox news channel. thank god for all of you. we have to earn your trust every day. we don't assume that you're going to be here. we have to earn your trust by giving you news, information, opinion that you're not going to get anywhere else. you know, trusted opinion, opinion that that will be proven to be true. we've got to earn your trust. and i'll speak for myself. nobody in the media mob, state run media mob, nobody showed you kamala harris in her own words and her radicalism and
11:09 pm
extremism more than i did. why did i do that? because people needed to be informed. and the state run media mob, an extension of the harris press office, was never going to show that to you. but that won't stop this media mob and these hollywood and other self-important far left losers from screaming into the void. it will continue and probably get louder and probably get worse. take a look. how are you doing? if you watched the show regularly, i'm guessing you're not doing great. yeah. me neither. i don't think that our beloved country, america, knows what it's in for with a fascistic society and dictator. i'll snap out of it, but i'm. i'm in a very, very dark tunnel right now. it may be that not enough people in this country yet believe in the full equality of women. to elect a woman president of the united
11:10 pm
states. latinos in texas, a district that's 97% latino, went 75 percentage points for donald trump y misogyny. no, it's on the border. the border crisis is on their doorstep. so? so they were begging people to care about it for years. we need to take some lessons. that's what that was. well, i'm so proud. i'm so proud of her. i don't think people realize how hard it is to get to where she was. what will the future hold now that america has just decided that we're going to f around and find out? yeah, let's just call people irredeemable deplorables, bitter americans that cling to their god guns, bibles and religion. let's call them garbage, racists, fascists, nazis, stalin lovers, and then tell them they're stupid on top of everything else. oh, and they're sexist and misogynistic and racist. these people are living in their little echo chamber. so closed off from
11:11 pm
where the rest of the country is, they have no idea how crazy they sound. part of it makes me laugh. part of it is really sad. at least bette midler deleted her ex account after seemingly pledging to drink bleach if donald trump wins. i don't know bette midler. i don't really like bette midler that much. bette midler it's going to be okay. you don't need the bleach take take good care of yourself. meanwhile, professors at harvard can you believe this? they canceled classes after the election because out of sheer grief, we. we have snowflakes all over the country. others are coping with the loss of joe biden by the loss of kamala harris, by throwing biden under the bus, even though they're the ones that forced them out of the race. and dismissing millions of voters that put him in place. you know what was clearly a coup? kamala got not one primary vote, and they just ignored the millions of people in their own party today.
11:12 pm
frankly, joe biden was all smiles and congratulated. donald trump invited him to the white house, thanked harris for giving it her all. but so far it doesn't appear that any of the major players inside the democratic party are willing or able to change in any meaningful way. all right, here with his take. i admit it publicly. he's a friend of mine. we don't agree a lot on politics. it's espn host. he's a rock star. he there is no as far as i'm concerned, there is no espn without my friend stephen a smith. i watched you on the view today. how are you doing? all right. how are you doing sean? congratulations on the election. the results you called it. you said it was going to happen. i can't refute it. i can't refuse the fact that the president of the united states, the president elect, is well deserving of it. it was a romp. it was an annihilation. i know a lot of people are trying to, you know, label it like, you know what? he won a little bit in a lot of
11:13 pm
different places. i don't want to hear that. he won, and he won in absolutely convincing fashion. so much so that i think that in light of those results, we have to look at this election as a referendum on a democratic party in america saying we're not feeling where you are. we're not feeling where you tried to go. we want no part of it. we're not having it. and they made their choice and we all have to accept it. and you were very gracious by the way. privately, we have our own conversations. and you said that to me and you. i'll live with it. and i've had elections that i really wanted my side to win, that they lost. and you know what, stephen? a i go on and i plow through and i do my job. there was there's not going to be retribution. none of the hosts of the view are going to be taken off. i used to go on that show. i they wouldn't even allow they wouldn't accept a conversation with me at this point. isn't that pretty pathetic? i used to like whoopi goldberg, joy behar well, listen, a little. yeah, i
11:14 pm
would, i would ask that you don't look at the show, what you look at, what you should look at is the ideological tilt that has taken place in our country. we've we've gotten to a point where, god forbid, somebody has a difference of opinion and a different form of ideology, then you're near the anti-christ. and that's not what makes this country great. i mean, the reality is, is that, you know what? we could sit up there and we could say what we want, and everybody has their different opinions about donald trump. you know how i felt. you knew why i didn't vote for him. i don't like the way he behaves. i think the presidency is a statesmanship position. and i think that that i think that level of hubris that he's accustomed to showing needs to be dialed back significantly. but having said that, the bottom line is simpl. you can look at a lot of things on the right or the left, he talked about the economy, okay. he and you know, biden inherited what was it like 1.5% in terms of inflation? it ballooned to over 9.1% before it got dialed down a little bit. we looked at open borders.
11:15 pm
barack obama was once considered the deporter in chief because he actually deported more folks than donald trump. but biden comes into office, and the first thing he does day one executive order, he opens the borders. and obviously that created so much tension. and then you look at the culture wars, the identity politics, you know, some of the transgender issues that people were bringing up in terms of individuals transferring, transitioning from male to female and wanting to participate in female sports and stuff like that, or sharing the same bathroom as females and all of this other stuff. america said, hey, we're not down for that. we're not going for it. and no matter what you try to throw in our direction, that's not what we're concerned about. we're primarily concerned about the economy. we're primarily concerned about our borders and about being safe. and they voted that way to send that message. and all we've heard over the last couple of days is folks going absolutely back. crazy, because the candidate that they preferred to win didn't win. and i just want to take a
11:16 pm
moment to remind everybody, this is america. guess what? sometimes you don't get what you want. but we are known for having intestinal resolve and making sure we're able to march forward and work with whoever candidate, whichever candidate ends up being in office and winning, and find a way to work with one another and reach some degree of compromise. so we have civility in this country instead of chaos. it's going to be up to donald trump to contribute to that, no doubt. but the way i've seen some of the democrats reacting since kamala harris lost, to be quite honest with you, is utterly ridiculous. i'm not going to get into any names, but it's been utterly ridiculous. you know, one thing, when i'm on your show, i do all the talking. when you're on my show, i let you do all the talking. we kind of have a we kind of have this unspoken agreement because i always vote together when we have conversations. they're really thoughtful conversations. they're real. we keep it real. you know, you always tell me to stay in my lane. politics. i tell you to stay in your lane
11:17 pm
sports. but you're you're making a lot of sense tonight. and they would be wise to listen to you and more importantly, the spirit in which you're telling it. and i give you a lot of credit for that. you know, here's where i see it and tell me what you agree or disagree with. they could not run on one thing that they could point to where we were better off than we were four years ago. one major thing that improved the lives of the american people. the campaign ended with, you're a racist. you're a nazi, you're a fascist, a misogynist. even barack obama and stacey abrams calling african-american men misogynists and sexist. stacey abrams says they're racist and a lot of what they said was just flat out lies. kamala told us for three years, the border was was secure. it was not. everybody knew. it wasn't, she said. for three years that inflation was transitory and denied that we had an inflation problem. she also lied during the campaign. her final argument, she told american women she told them that donald
11:18 pm
trump's going to sign a national abortion ban. that was a lie, she said. donald trump will limit your access to contraception. that was a lie. she said that he would ban ivf. that was a lie. she tried to scare seniors and say that he's going to take away your social security and medicare. he promised he would not do it. benefits went up in his first term when he was president, so analyze that strategy. you can't run on what you did or what you succeeded at. so you're going to go to the lowest level. tell lies and call people nazis and fascists. not a good strategy, stephen. a not nice either. well, i'm not i'm not going to deny that it's not the greatest strategy. i don't know if you're entirely, completely accurate in everything that you're saying, because i could i can think of lies that the other side as well. but i will say this to you, if you're kamala harris, which you could have done is lean on the reports that the economy was actually getting better, and it actually is in a good place compared to where it
11:19 pm
was. you could have acknowledged that. guess what? i was a bit wrong in the position. i was a bit wrong in the position that i took on the border, and obviously it's not about flip flopping, it's about me correcting the error of my ways. she didn't do that, but in the end, i will tell you, i'll do you a favor and tell you where the biggest crime came about from the democratic party. you had a situation with biden who promised to be a trans, you know, a transitional president. he was he labeled himself a stopgap, somebody that was going to come in there, sort of calm the waters and then move out the way for a young blood to come into the into the fray and new blood to come into the fray and be the next president of the united states. there was supposed to be a red wave in the midterms. it didn't happen. what does he do? he's the incumbent. he gets comfortable and says, i'm not going anywhere. and that threw everything up in flux. so suddenly he's debilitated a bit. the cognitive decline is something that we were witnessing. people were noticing it but didn't want to speak about it. you let him go
11:20 pm
on stage and get embarrassed. june 27th, three and a half weeks later, you elevate her. she never went through a primary or anything like that, which raised question marks. and then what do you do from there on, sean? you've got you obviously they felt they needed to do whatever they could to get votes. this is what they were doing. and it didn't work. it didn't work. and that's what you have to applaud. the american people have spoken. they said, we're not going for that. we're looking at policies. we're not going for all of that. one last, one last question. we don't have a lot of time. she never had to explain one time why she co-sponsored the green new deal. 93 trillion and said she would eliminate the filibuster. she never had to explain her position on gun mandatory buybacks. she never had to explain why. she said the rioters in 2020. 574 of them won't stop, shouldn't stop. and she won't stop supporting them. she never had to explain. she never had to explain. you know why we're going to pay for free sex change operations for illegal immigrants. can i help you out? and give them amnesty
11:21 pm
when they don't respect our laws? will you agree with me? and we have 30s for you to answer that. legacy media is dead. do you agree or disagree? i'm not going to say it's dead because i'm holding out hope that it can be resuscitated. but hold on to this moment, sean, because it's a rarity. hold on to this. hold on to this for the rest of your life. okay? i am going to agree with you from the standpoint that what was done was inexcusable because it was favoritism in the media and it had no place in it for a presidential election. you got to call balls and strikes, and that's not what people on both sides are doing, but especially the left over the last couple of days, they ain't calling balls and strikes and they're wrong. you're right and it's your day. enjoy it. it's a rare moment, but you got it. i'm not looking for a rare moment. you know, you and i have an announcement we're going to make pretty soo.
11:22 pm
i think it will shock people. fair enough. can i tease it that way? oh, lord. no, there's nothing to tease as of yet. i'm. oh. oh, there, oh, there is. and i know your family. i've met your family. they're wonderful people. you're a good man, steve. and i appreciate you being with us. all right. when we come back, far left democrats already working on ways to resist donald trump as he starts his transition process. what a shock. by the way, joe scarborough says he's shocked, shocked by the sky high price of butter. i go shopping every week, joe. liberal joe, go to the go to the grocery store. where have you been? we'll explain straight ahead. the border isn't just broken, it's shattered sex trafficking, human smuggling, fentanyl trafficking and the cost isn't just in dollars. my daughter was murdered in her own room and left on the floor like trash. it's in lives. anybody who is here illegally knows
11:23 pm
they will be protected. where was my son's sanctuary? sanctuary? america. are we a country that even has a border? streaming now on fox nation. it's an absolute problem. it happens all of the time. if you own property, you've got equity. you can be a victim. i'm here with art pfitzenmaier, a retired special agent with the fbi and senior advisor to home tidal lock. exactly what is house stealing? that's a phrase i think that the fbi kind of coined when they first began seeing situations where people were forging documents, titles and deeds and using those documents to gain access to the equity in the homes. how can a scammer actually steal my home? in the digital age, it's so easy for them to get the original document. all the information is out there, right? it's out there. they can download it and forge it, and if you take it down to the county clerk's house, won't they know if there's something wrong there? when a title is
11:24 pm
presented to a county recorder and it's completely filled out and it's notarized, then they're required by law to accept the document and file it so it looks good. they can't question it. they can't question it. what's the title of your home is stolen and you don't know it. what do they do with it? they begin to find places to take out loans. oh, they don't want your home. they don't want it. they don't need to go see it. they can do it all at arm's length. and you're left holding the bag because the loan company is going to come after you 90, 120 days later. your life is going to take a terrible turn. as a homeowner, what can i do to protect my title? the only thing you can do is stop it before that first loan transpires. and that's what we do for you at home. title lock. we monitor your title with our software. if anything disturbs your title, we alert you that something has happened to your title. if the alert takes place and you call in, we go to work immediately on your behalf to get your title back in your name. so how do you sign up
11:25 pm
with home title lock? go to home title lock. com home title lock com. that's peace of mind, isn't it? you'll sleep better that night. protect your home. and it's what we do. and we do it better than anyone else. hello. i'm former arkansas governor mike huckabee. a lot of times you can't control the amount of sleep that you're getting. i know it's scary unless you use relaxing sleep. relaxing sleep is a product that's made from natural ingredients, and it usually works from the very first night you try it. relaxing sleep is studied, tested, and designed by a neurologist to help you fall asleep faster, stay asleep longer, and wake up refreshed. relaxing. sleep. worked from the very first night i took it, i had more focus and mental clarity than i've had in years. i wake up feeling alert and like i've had the best night's sleep. stop being afraid and start sleeping your fears away with relaxing and sleep. your body and your mind will thank you. take relaxing and sleep. it'll work, i promise you it'll

deal dash .com right now and see how much you can save. all right. earlier today, donald trump announced his campaign manager, siouxsie wiles, will be his white house chief of staff in january. now, susie will be the first woman ever to serve in that role. also breaking tonight, the ap has now called the commonwealth of pennsylvania that senate race for dave mccormick. that is a huge pickup for republicans. and meanwhile, as trump takes major steps in transitioning back to the white house, democrats are already vowing to resist him at every turn. california governor gavin newsom now, in fairness to him, he is fighting a big wildfire
11:29 pm
in ventura. we're praying for the people there, is calling his state legislature into special session to, quote, protect rights before trump takes power again and other democratic officials are following his lead. i'll take a look. if the trump administration requests it, would the massachusetts state police assist in mass deportations? no. absolutely not. we did not expect this result, but we are prepared to respond to this result. and my office has been preparing for several months because we've been here before. we face this challenge before, and we use the rule of law to fight back. if you try to harm new yorkers or roll back their rights, i will fight you every step of the way. if there is any attack on the garden state or on any of its communities from washington, i will fight back
11:30 pm
with every fiber of my being to anyone who intends to come take away the freedom and opportunity and dignity of illinoisans. i would remind you that a happy warrior is still a warrior. you come for my people. you come through me. okay? all tough guys, all political posturing. joining us now, fox news contributor ari fleischer, senior adviser to president trump stephen miller and former white house chief of staff reince priebus. ari, you were very invested. you know, dave mccormick personally. that was always going to be a tough race. it was a tough race. he beat a career politician, huge pickup for republicans. congratulations. why did it happen? well, and i should disclose i actually did work on that campaign. it happened, sean, because the people of pennsylvania want a change. they wanted something different. and i think they concluded that bob casey was just a kind of quiet status quo, and that he shifted too
11:31 pm
far to the left with the whole rest of the democratic party, and he fell out with where pennsylvanians believe. dave mccormick, west point graduate, 82nd airborne. he kind of was much more in tune with the state, and donald trump's victory helped as well. the fact that trump was able to carry pennsylvania. but people want normal common sense solutions. they don't want liberal nonsense. and that's really where pennsylvania is. yeah, it really well said. you know, ryan, i'm not going to lie. full disclosure, as long as ari is doing it, i guess it's confession time. i checked in with you a lot all throughout the days leading up to the election, and on election day and the day before the election. you said mathematically, there's no way, based on early voting numbers, that democrats would be able to make up the vote on election day to come back. and it was your strong belief. and you said this the day before election day, donald trump will win wisconsin. how did you kno? well, i knew because there are
11:32 pm
two buckets of votes that if you're into this game and the mechanics, there's an early vote and there's the election day vote and the democrats had way too big of a hill to climb to make up the vote on election day. i also thought that the that donald trump would win all three of the midwest states because the only people left the 3.5% undecided, that 3.5% is the same person in wisconsi, pennsylvania and michigan. i mean, look, the democrats entire campaign right now was all about donald trump. how unacceptable donald trump was. and donald trump took a wrecking ball to the democrat party. and hats off to suzy and chris and michael whatley and laura. they did a great job. but here's the reality. the reality is donald trump won in in places in new jersey, in new york, in minnesota, where there was no ground game, there was no party, there were no ads or
11:33 pm
messages. donald trump won across the board. popular vote he won in puerto rican communities in florida. by the way, the new governor in puerto rico is a is not just a republican representative of puerto rico. she was the former chairwoman of the of the republican party of puerto rico, their senate presidents or republican. their senate speaker is a republican. so this idea that puerto rico is just a bunch of democrats is totally false. and donald trump won that in the puerto rican community. i mean, it's an unbelievable mandate. it is a complete and total annihilation of the progressive movement in the united states. stephen miller, let's get your your overall view. and, you know, a lot of people are on the left. are trying to continue the fear mongering, the demagoguing, the hyperbole that donald trump is going to be a dictator from day one. that comment was made to me. i said, people claim you're
11:34 pm
going to do this. he said, just for one day, because i'm going to make us on day one energy dominant, and i'm going to fix the border. but that's it. they cut off the sentence right there. they did it on purpose. they lied, manipulated all of it. but to me, where his passion is. and he expressed this on election night when he spoke, is that he wants to bring america back, fix the borders, fix the economy, bring back law and order, energy dominance. he brought us to energy independence for the first time in 75 years, and frankly, to make the world a safer place, i don't think he's going to have much time to care about liberal commentators on tv. yes, well, what you see on tv, some of these tears from the radical marxists and progressives just underscores, again why donald trump won such a massive, historic landslide, a victory when you take into account what he was up against
11:35 pm
that is unparalleled in not just the history of our country, but modern history in any country. because he spoke to the hopes and dreams of americans, sean, he talked about having a sovereign, secure border, about, as you said, not just energy independence, but energy dominance being the energy market for planet earth, about ending wars and restoring peace and stability all over the planet. he talked about revolutionizing science and technology, sending an american astronaut to mars, working with elon musk to lead the way into space, radical reductions in wasteful government regulation to create an economic boom reshoring our jobs from overseas to be manufacturing independent. sean, this was truly, as he said, a golden age of america plan. this is the reason why he won that massive landslide. it was not just the most brilliant campaign in history, but it was also the most brilliant policy strategy in history. and that is how

he's going to unite america behind that plan for total national success. i think, ari, if the president focuses in on the agenda, that will be his legacy. that will be where his greatest success will be. thoughts? sean. i think something else is going to be different in his second term. the mainstream media is much less significant than they were in 2017, when they went nuts with collusion and the steele dossier. he's not going to be under the withering attack that he was before. he's going to be able to rise above it and not have to deal with these distractions from the side. their playbook was tried against him. it failed. and now he can concentrate on his job. he can concentrate on governing and leading this country to that boom that he talks about. i think that's going to be a big difference. the democrats are marginalized, the press is marginalized, and trump can do his job and not have to worry about protecting his flank from these nonsense charges. that's going to be a difference in his
11:37 pm
second term. yeah, i agree completely appreciate you all. congratulations to all three of you. ari fleischer, stephen miller, reince priebus, thanks. all right. now, we don't have to tell you tonight that four years of historic inflation, a full 20 some odd percent increase in the cost of living is a big reason why kamala harris lost this election in this landslide. but apparently, somebody needs to tell our old friend, liberal joe on msdnc how much things cost today. now, i happen to do my own grocery shopping every week. i know how much it costs because i'm there every week, and i ate a lot of meat and a lot of eggs, and i'm paying twice what i paid four years ago. take a look. i want to talk about economy for a second. a few weeks ago, three weeks ago, somebody who was going to be voting for kamala harris came up to me and said, oh my god, trump's going to win. i go, why is that? he goes, i just i went to the grocery store, butters, over $3. i kind of laughed and
11:38 pm
i said, i said, well, that's kind of reductive, isn't it? said it to myself, to him. i smiled and i said, good point, but it actually what everything we're hearing after the election is, is the seven. what's that? the $7. what's that? butter is $7. yeah. what is it framed in gold. i guess we know who does the shopping in that family. anyway, earlier today, after announcing another interest rate cut, the fed chair, jerome powell, said he would not step down from his role even if donald trump asked him to. you know, his term expires in 2026. here now are fox business host david asman, trump economic adviser steve moore. quick answer from both of you. if trump asks powell to step down and he says no, does he have any recourse? dave asman well, yeah, i mean, he can essentially the way it's not really written down. it's
11:39 pm
an understanding that the president is not allowed to fire the fed chief. it has to go through congress. if he needs to be fired at all. but having said that, you know, donald trump is a very good negotiator and he's doing the same with powell and the fed. i think that he's doing with other countries in terms of talking about tariffs. yes, he's going to have 300% tariffs on everything from every country in the world. well, it's a beginning of a bargaining process. and he's going to go through a bargaining process with the federal reserve, just like he's going to go with other countries and their obscene tariffs that they have against u.s. products. he's starting big, and then he's going to be negotiating. i think that's what's going on here. well, it's an unelected position. i say steve moore, if he wants to fire him, get republicans to join with him. now that they have a majority and throw them the hell out, that's up to president trump. look, i, i'm not a lawyer, but i do think that one of the most powerful people in washington is the federal reserve board chairman. and, and he's accountable to no
11:40 pm
one. and i think that's bad for our democracy. and i think the president should have the authority with congress to remove him. but look, jerome powell is one of the people, along with joe biden, who created this inflation in the first place. and, you know, joe biden gave a talk today saying, oh, i'm, you know, i'm handing off to donald trump a healthy economy. and this has been a great four years. so come on, if you look at the exit polls that that i just looked at today, sean, from the voting on tuesday, once again, how many times have we heard this? 68% of americans said the american economy is headed in the wrong direction. and i do believe this wasn't so much a repudiation of kamala harris. she's kind of a footnote in history. i think joe biden is going to go down as one of the worst presidents in american history. absolutely. well, let me put up, let me put up on the screen. i think we're going a little early in my ear with the noise here. but if we can put that down, the music. thank
11:41 pm
you. but earnings of the lowest income workers. let's look at these charts and i'll start with you steve moore. average weekly earnings for low wage workers under trump was 8.5%, plus 8.5% under harris and biden, down 1.5%. that is a 10% drop. add to that biden harris inflation 2,030% 40% in some cases, depending on what product it is. you know, add to that a buck 50 more for gasoline and you're talking about the average family. what is it, $13,000 a year more than they were paying four years ago for the same same items? that's right. and what was really historic about this election is in your mind, and david's lifetime, i think this is the first time a republican actually won voters with incomes of less than $50,000. and so and by the way, the big constituency that voted for donald trump, i mean, for kamala harris was the very
11:42 pm
richest people, the cultural elite love what joe biden did because they don't care about inflation. they don't care about the fact that there's crime on the street. they don't care about people's real incomes falling. and this is a historic realignment. donald trump has made the republican party the party of the working class and even, you know, struggling lower income people. yep. yeah. what this is what i think is amazing. and i think people really need to grasp this. and i want your answer, david, on this is if you look at all the hollywood stars they brought out, beyonce and george clooney and julia roberts and oprah and ricky martin and lady gaga. great. and they had the entire, you know, legacy media in their corner. and the american people didn't care. they voted about law and order. they voted about open borders. they voted. they voted for their economy. they saw a world where we have war in europe, war in the middle east, and peace and prosperity in the
11:43 pm
end, drive elections, don't they? you know, the only one group in which the democrats did better. now than they did in 2020, the rich, the rich can fly above all those problems. they can fly first class. above all those problems, the rest of us have to walk on the ground and deal with all these issues. not just the price of butter, by the way. it's the price of crime. steve mentioned crime. we've got to we got to beef up our security. we got to we got to. we can't take public transportation. so we got to pay more for uber. there's all kinds of things that the woke policies force us to do. now that cost more money. the falling test scores you got to you got to increase the tutorials for your kids if you want them to pass, because you're not getting good public education anymore. the migrant crisis is costing more for city government. so tax taxpayers, the stuff that they're paying taxes for the parks and, and the, the places where you send your kids to in the, in the
11:44 pm
summertime, you can't do that because they're filled with migrants. all of these woke policies add into just the price of butter and the rising prices of the things that we need. so it's not just inflation alone. it's the other things that cause people to pay more. and the worst thing is people feel more insecure and they have less freedom, and they have less time because they have to worry about all these other things. that's what this election was about. wasn't just inflation alone, the price of eggs and butter. it was the prices of woke policies. well said. you know, the idea that you would have gender affirming care with no parental consent, the idea that you're going to put feminine products in you know, fourth grade boys bathrooms, american people, they kind of believe in parental rights. anyway, thank you guys. when we come back, the left's lawfare that campaign against donald trump appears to be winding down. finally, after his landslide victory, we'll check in with greg jarrett, alan dershowitz

11:51 pm
expected to wind down his prosecutions while the judge in the new york falsified business documents case, juan merchan, is reportedly considering tossing the felony convictions against trump. here, with reaction, fox news legal analyst gregg jarrett, harvard law professor alan dershowitz. gregg, start with you. i think they should all go away. judge merchan not sure he has it in him. no, i agree with you. but look, these verdicts will never survive on appeal. the entire prosecution was based on an absurd theory. it's not a crime to conceal a perfectly legal nondisclosure agreement. but you know, judge juan merchan, who acted a co-prosecutor in the case, he let alvin bragg get away with it. even worse, he used testimony protected by immunity. so a fair judge would toss the verdicts next week. and i'm with you, sean. i doubt merchan will. he may proceed to
11:52 pm
sentencing and ignore the fact that new york law does not support incarceration. but it doesn't matter, because trump is entitled to bail pending appeal and he cannot be imprisoned while a state by a state court while he's president. no higher court would ever allow it on constitutional grounds. so, you know, i don't think that case will ever survive what do you think, professor? no, i think the lawfare is over in relation to trump himself. but they're still going gung ho after trump's lawyers. they're even trying to disbar me in massachusetts because i defended donald trump on the floor of the senate and because i challenged the use of voting machines in arizona for the future. if the voting machine companies won't transparently tell us how they count the votes and what their algorithms are. so they're still going after the lawyers. they're going after the lawyers, mostly in state courts and in front of state bars. there's something
11:53 pm
called the 65 project, which is much more dangerous than the 2025 project. and people are not paying attention. i want you to stay focused. i know you've taken on controversial cases your whole career, but i'm asking you very specifically, will these cases and constitutionally, will all these cases go away and should they go away, they will they should, but they won't go away against the lawyers. and as shakespeare said, if you want tyranny, the first thing, kill the lawyers first. and so they're changing their tactics. they're not going to go after trump, but they're going to go after the lawyers. and this will have a big impact on both trump's governance. and it will also have a big impact on american freedom. but no, the cases against trump are over. they're done. they're not going to be in any way valid. and if merchan sentences him, what happens then? bail conviction reversed on appeal. no possibility of a jail sentence.
11:54 pm
and i think virtually 100% certainty that the case will be dismissed. i think every single one of the cases against trump will end up in the garbage pail. everyone and i would imagine, i would imagine if the special counsel not viewed as legitimate in florida, starts to go after associates of trum. greg, would you predict donald trump would immediately pardon them and end it on end that part on his own? if he's president, when he's president, i think he would. but but look, with his victory, those two federal cases are over. one was already dismissed in florida. the other stalled in washington. jack smith is now required to fold up his tent because the constitution prohibits indictment or active prosecution of a sitting president. it's written in doj policy. it will now be enforced by a new attorney general, i agree. do you think and do you both agree real quick that
