i was prepared. years ago i never thought i would run but i recognize our community deserves those knowledge and skills. >> todd: how do you describe the s significance of becoming the first female elected sheriff in the state of florida? >> it stems from good old-fashioned hard work. we dedicate ourselves professionally. to be an example to young girls across the state and hopefully across this country is pretty cool, for lack of a better word. i grew up in new york city and never saw someone that looked like me in these type of positions. it is important time. >> todd: pretty cool is perfect way to describe it. what are your top priorities? >> i want to work on reorganizations put being back
