"cbs pay neutrality when anchor gets chopped up at the thought of a trump victory. just a journalist i cannot even discuss the election results without fighting back tears." there's lots of other examples out there as well. >> unfortunately, the election was a real curtain pulling moment where the public got a direct view of what was

happening in the media, including that interview. and the result was largely media shrugging and saying that was the emotions of the moment. this was not a commentator. this is someone who is expected to be an objective anchor. i used to work for that network. there was a time when that would not have gone over well. remember, they just had an incident where another anchor was raked over the coals for bias because he was critical of an anti-israeli book and author. there is a real contrast here. this is part of the reason why the public is walking away from mainstream media. when you see scenes like that, it's not in your head. the fact is that the media really had this moment of honesty on election night. i think a lot of the public is not going to forget that. you can't unsee it. they will likely continue this

rush to new media and other sources of news. >> john: then there is this. chuck schumer not inviting david mccormick, w who is the republican senator elect by declaration in the state of pennsylvania. saying that there is still 100,000 votes to be counted in pennsylvania. this thing is not over yet. here is what "the wall street journal" said about that. "the associated press" and most other media have called the senate race for republican dave mccormick. never fear, democrats, the lawyer is on the case trying to steal the seat for incumbent bob casey. can someone say election denial? we should point out that schumer has also not invited ruben gallego in arizona to come to the freshman orientation. but that is because that race has not yet been declared.

>> the old joke that labs are getting rid of rats in favor of long years. there are some things that rats won't do. you know, this is really the final round. it is not so surprising that mark elias has shown up. that figure that was at the heart of the russian conspiracy hoax. he was accused in the campaign of hiding even buying about the funding of the steele dossier, the journalist said that the campaign had lied to them and denying that they had funded the steele dossier. he has also been sanctioned in court in the past. these are very aggressive lawyers that will try to focus on the provisional balloting -- which is something of a nightmare. you've got 120,000 of those. they often have defects. this can really slow down the process. you have a candidate who is leading by 40,000 votes. it is a sizable margin.

"the associated press" and others have said there is no mathematical path in which case he can do this. but many people are hoping is that casey will still forward and say, you know what? it's time to give up the ghost, here. i lost. >> john: here is what mark mathias wrote on x. the pennsylvania senate rate is not over. here is what "the new york post" wrote about that. not yet decided but republicans are returning to power in the senate. one of their first priorities will be taking up tax policies outlined by president-elect trump. in the raybon's from capitol hill. >> republicans are gearing up for what they are calling the super bowl of tax policy. preparing to make trump's 2017 tax cuts that expire permanent. they are tasked with putting in motion trump's other tax idea like no taxes on tips, overtime, or social security. the committee responsible for a federal budget that trump's tax wish list could come with a hefty price tag. adding to the debt over a decade. congressman byron donalds at their production doesn't take into account all the economic growth that they think will come from putting peopl money back in people's pockets. >> the reason why we know this is because under his first tax policy which is current tax law at the can with democrats in all these outside groups that it would cost $5 trillion.

>> jacqui: fox news alert. victims of elected hate crime and cannabis. the suspect this approach the students. it attacks them firmly behind. there are two separate concussions their broken wrist. senior correspondent mike tobin is in chicago where this took place. did the attack intimidate these victims at all? i imagine that it did. >> some intimidation. both say they intend to return to campus and openly advocate for israel. both of them are jewish students at depaul university. one of them a reservist with the israeli defense forces. it was last wednesday. the two would regularly take a -- a sign that read come talk about israel with an idf soldier for less with a young man approached them wearing a mask over his face and shook hands and had dialogue. another man came up from behind and attacked.

abigail williams and liberty chairman. 52-year-old richard allen is accused of murdering their teens after encountering them in the woods. he was found guilty on all four counts. the girls wear black february 13th of 2017 hiking along the highbridge trail when they disappeared. their bodies were found the next day. richard allen has been on trial. and it is not known if there would have been enough evidence to convict them. a jury of his peers as found him guilty of the murders. he has been found guilty of four counts. such a tragedy. the young girls going for a hike along a very popular hiking trail. they encounter this monster who took their lives and just left them there. >> for seven years to have their

families living in limbo with nobody paying the price for cutting their lives short. this man apparently during 2022, this conversation with law enforcement the interview he had before he was arrested, he acknowledged he had been at the trail of the girl's death denied killing them. >> john: with this now with more on this. >> this trial has been more than seven years in the making after roughly 19 hours of deliberation. unanimously that the evidence they saw was enough to convict richard allen and all four counts for the kidnapping and murdering. the prosecution's case largely boil down to three pieces of evidence. the dozens of confessions richard allen made while he was in prison the famous video at libby german recorded on her phone before she was killed which prosecutors name was richard allen and an unfired bullet that was found on the ground between the girls bodies which police analysis found was

a match to a gun owned by richard allen. the defense team argued that this was a bungled investigation from the start and that the real killers are still out there. richard alan's dna was not found at the crime scene and neither of the girls dna was found on his clothes, knives, or car. most of the allergic confessions to the murders were made after he had spent months in solitary confinement and was experiencing psychosis. it appears that was not enough to convince this jury which came from a county two hours away that there was a reasonable doubt that richard allen committed these crimes. facing up to 130 years in prison. after 7.5 years, the families are saying a small bit of justice for what happened to these young girls in the small town. they captured the interest of the nation. >> from chicago with the latest of their murders. the controversies surrounding

the san jose state university women's volleyball team continues. and associate head coach says that she has been suspended for voicing her concerns about having a ball a elements biological male on the team's roster. out at the university breaks the news to this coach that she was being suspended indefinitely? >> it was pretty harsh. she said she was ordered to hand over her keys and her school i.d. just hours before a game. we can go into detail as to why she was suspended. and the school would only confirm that the associate head coach of the san jose state university women's volleyball team is not with the team at this time. wwe will not provide further information on this matter. she says it comes after she came out in support of the team's cocaptain who joined federal class action lawsuit against the ncaa for allergic title ix violations.

claiming in the lawsuit that one of her teammates is a male who identifies as transgender. san jose state went to great lengths to make sure no one found out. she said she agrees with the allegations. which includes concerns over safety and fairness and made her feelings known to university's death. no even with her job on the line, she said she is speaking out to protect the future of women's sports. >> safety is being taken away from women. fair play is being taken away from women. we need more and more people to do this and fight this fight. women's sports as we know it right now will be forever changed. >> san jose state has not said whether there is a trans athlete on the team and our request to interview blair fleming have been denied. boise state and the university of wyoming are now forfeiting once again their upcoming games. this makes 7 games forfeited

beautiful setting to recal recalibrate. >> my wife is from maine originally. she said no. i said that the second time. in the closet until i agreed. in truth, maine's climate is perfect for me. my injuries make me overheat easily. we honor these veterans -- how we honor these veterans is bring veterans -- and do things to adapt for what we have done for them and their family. we have veterans that are missing legs with their families and veterans in wheelchairs and veterans that have something that was a physical disability. we show them that life is possible after victory. the greatest job i have ever had. i can still serve people. my wife and i started the travis mills foundation. we have expanded and grown. we are a foundation that is partnering with veterans that have post-traumatic stress.
