it comes to the executive orders, i mean, when donald trump enters office, he could just reverse all that joe biden did. so, doesn't sound like there is a whole lot of teeth in their plan. is there anything that you can tell us that they might be planning? >> i worry about agencies, different federal agencies instituting last minute policies that will have to be rewound once new leadership at those agencies, new bureaucrats get those positions. i think you will see a lot of that across the board. it's dangerous. it's dangerous for democracy. it's dangerous to literally spit in the face of the american people because, this is who they want. they wanted trump. they overwhelmingly not only with the popular vote. he won every swing state. >> this is a mandate to change how washington works. >> carley: despite the sabotage sounds like a soap opera title work still needs to be done. today that comes in the form of hearing on ufos. tim burchett says i think we are going to learn some things in this hearing like appealing back the layers of an onion.

you are leading this hearing. tell us more about it and what you expect to learn and how will be talking to. >> this is ride or die time. this is a time for witnesses to come forward and share information that they feel has been hidden from the american public. we have agencies like arrow, within the federal government, that we don't know how much they are spending on these types of programs, these special access programs for unidentified aerial phenomena. why is that classified? i want to get to the bottom of it. i want to learn about any crash retrieval programs we have. one of the witnesses may have expertise in there as well. if there is no there there. then why is the federal government spending money on this and how much have they spent? what kind of technology do we or private contractors have or maybe our adversaries or something else. it will be having interesting and historic hearing today. >> carley: congresswoman we both have something in common the fact that two of our colleagues just received cabinet positions of course pete hegseth is going to be secretary of defense and

i think just having strong leadership in place on day one with strong policies for the united states overseas and our allies will certainly temper the conditions overseas, particularly in the middle east. iran needs a warning shot for what they have done fund proxy wars, we need to revisit how we designate terrorist groups like the taliban and houthis. we have a whole list of things we can do, small parts, small changes make a big difference in particular and overseas and of course, trump being as strong as he is, and as scared as they are of him will bring peace pretty quickly. >> carley: the cabinet is shaping up and giving us insight into what the next four years will look like. congresswoman nancy mace, have a good day, especially with that ufo hearing. we appreciate you as always. ible. >> todd: she raises a good point. sec, def hegseth. we will have to get used to that. >> carley: "fox & friends" starts right now. ♪ ♪ >>
