as we get ready for president trump to go back to the white house and shake hands with president biden? >> well, president biden is an institutionalist at heart and believes in the rituals of american political moments like this. i don't think there was any chance that president biden would not have this meeting today with president trump. i would note a luxury not afforded to him by president trump just four years ago when donald trump didn't stay for the inauguration. it was a very different transfer of power. many people would not call that one peaceful. this one, of course, is peaceful indeed. i also think that president biden will raise a number of issues today with donald trump in addition to the pleasantries. i think he will raise america's standing in the world and role in the world. likely will talk about supporting ukraine in the face of continued russian aggression. likely talk about the middle east and talk about our allies and how important those

alliances are. they have defined joe biden's time in public service and deeply cares about them and is concerned what will come next. i expect some of that to be discussed today. as kellyanne said this meeting could go on longer than any of us think. both men like to talk and have a lot to talk about. interesting to see how long the meetings goes, in anyone else is in it and the read-out coming out of it. >> bill: getting word now red alert sirens are activated in tel aviv. we got an alert yesterday around this time. see what comes of that. plenty to discuss as you point out. another time-out here. president-elect trump will be there momentarily at the white house and we'll be there for it. let's get a quick break right now. back to d.c. wrapping up his meeting with house republicans. senate republicans are still underway. who is to say how long that goes? we'll wait and we'll try to read the tea leaves as we get some indication based on text messages and emails coming out
