that whatever president trump decides to do they as democrat senators will oppose that. you've got governor healy up in massachusetts saying she won't allow state offices to deport people and won't be a part of that. there's going to be plenty of opposition interesting he's talking about openly doing it. but i think there's plenty of resistance and president trump knows what he's walking into. i think 2016 there was a little bit of a learning curve. he's not surprised to the resistance from washington that's waiting for him here. joey: speaking of struggling to make sense of how the election turned out democrat senator bob casey is he's not onboard with it he wants to get recount and vote to count apparently shouldn't count or illegal now we've got one of i think buck's county commissioner saying the same thing. what's going on there in pennsylvania and are we going to move past this quick? shannon: under pennsylvania law from race is that close as that

senate race was within a half a percentage point there's a automatic recount that happens under state law that will happen anyway and senator casey holding out hope there's something there that will be a different result. but in the meantime you're write so the pennsylvania supreme court ruled not long ago you have to have the right signatures and formalities for getting your ballot in and philadelphia and three other counties in pennsylvania have voted nope we're going to go to count these ballots with -- these errors and flaws to them that the supreme court has said, their state supreme court you can't count these one of the commissioners in buck's county saying you know people don't obey the laws and president doesn't mean and paraphrasing there and saying that outloud. as recount goes on you have some of these kpghts in part of philadelphia there that say they're gong to count ballots that the state supreme court told them are already no good. >> defiance of the law defiance of the courts. what do you've got as we

branch. but the executive branch do this alone? can president trump go right back to where he was in his first term in illegal crossings or is there legislation that needs to come it? >> yeah he absolutely can but twhas you have a good president in office. we see i was there. i worked with him when he was able to secure the border better than any time in my career but the fact of the matter remains we're going to have a bad president at some time biden. we saw what he did. we know that the cartels they exploit the loopholes in our immigration laws. but they do it for profit. now we saw a president actually exploit loopholes for his own political gain. what whef to do is close loopholes only way is through firm immigration laws. we saw -- the hr2 that was passed by the house. that was a very, very strong immigration law.

trying to make and a big study from lance said that is estimating by the year 2050 over 80% of americans are probably going to be obese, one in three teenagers being obese. i'm not justing overweight i'm talking about obese. obesity and overweight rate have doubled since 1990 you see it in different parts of the country but the reality is, americans are overweight. and it really boils down to several things. ultra processed foods in our diet which is rfk jr. likes to point out not available elsewhere in the world but just here in the united states and healthy options and the fact that people aren't moving anymore. we are obsessed with our devices p.e. is taken out of schools so this is a trifecta that led us into the crisis and reality we like to talk about the opioid crisis and more americans are dying from illness than opioids.

>> but just a little bit, so first of all i'm onboard with this as i try to live my life more healthy but indulged in junk food do you do it by making it more transparent in hoping that americans make those choices for themselves? i can remember not only ago that the big goat got banned in new york and mostly conservatives -- >> it is much more complicatedded than saying eat healthier and do exercise. we started this conversation in 2020 with my book, make america healthy again and you know what happened after that book came out covid so all of a sudden all of the conversations about -- being healthier just got pushed to the wayside. what did we see with covid we saw people overweight, did much worse when it came to covid-19. so it is going to start from it actually starts in pregnancy rachel you will love this women pregnant need to be educated on healthy weight and mothers that breast-feed have a lower rate of obesity in themselves also in their children.

we immediate get education on nutrition back into schools and kids exercising again. stop with some of the nonsense classes get our kids moving on a loll level you need the states to make sure that neighborhoods and parks are safe and people have access to outdoor activity. and we also need to get these unhealthy foods out of our supermarkets. not necessarily by banning them but we need to make sure people if we're consuming them we need a warning or they need to make them healthier for us and a more healthier options. >> not going check lock box and it is not banning but transparency, data, education, and stop subsidizing. that's a big one. stop subsidizing bad foods. >> program needs to be upended people with the highest rates of obesity are lower income families these are people to be targeting with accessibility and affordable healthy options food stamps are promoting these ultra
