see everyday, joining me now, chris, good morning to you appeared to now that elon musk and donald trump have teamed up, what does the future of space exploration look like under this incoming administration? >> i guess we will find out because the first trump administration, it is hard to argue the most consequential presidency for the space industry since probably john f. kennedy and the establishment of space for an art of medicine cords and reestablishment of the national space council, multiple space directives and really move things forward. what is interesting, prior to his election, donald trump did not talk about space and we have not heard about space plans coming into the second administration, which is why i say we will find out. >> todd: space equals military, you know that. president trump says we will lead the world and space exploration, what do you take that to mean specifically when

it comes to the military? >> well, the military and space are interesting because space by treaty cannot be militarized. and yet, we do have china being very active on the move taking out very important locations on the moon where natural space and where we operate communicationse satellites both chinese and russian satellites at potentially threatening the existence and operation of our systems, which is part of the reason why we have the space force building its own constellation satellites to try to create more resilient architecture. i think we will see increased space force budget and spacex activities and probably a move to the moon, which was a first term trump goal to put american boots on the moon the second term. he has a four year gap to make up the difference.
