alone and distracted and wiped out their lives. without any contrition, shows up in court looking crazy as he looks in that shot and will go into prison the best of his life. that is new york in a nutshell. take out the good samaritan and let out the lunatics. speed tooth started out two and a half hours and went from the website to the east side and sto man and one woman and they all died 36-year-old construction worker. then he went to the east side and a man was fishing, 67-year-old man fishing stabbed him to death and then a woman 36 years old stabbed to death next. to the police were able to nab him and it turns out he has a rap sheet. >> lawrence: beautiful area. >> steve: the united nations and it's not supposed to happen. look at the evidence they are gathering. what is interesting is i heard mayor adams on the radio at a press conference, well, look,

going about their business. sometimes it results in assault and sometimes it doesn't. this is still a major problem. we have to get these types of people up at the street. there is no realistic movement to do that now. interestingly and the daniel penny case, a testimony yesterday from somebody from the medical examiner's office that said they went to literally thousands of pages of mr mr. neely's records as far as psychiatric problems. so yeah, the district attorney doesn't want to have that admitted. that daniel penny was a hero by anyone's definition. anyone crafted in a situation with a man who is deranged and could murder people, we want that type of intervention. >> steve: one of the things about it as you look on the street sixth avenue in new york city, absolute randomness of what happened.

religious scholar and i don't need that book. what would you say to them? >> it is not the east to figure out what you need. if your life is perfect and you are walking in the garden of eden hand-in-hand with god, you don't have anything to worry about. but if things could be better for you and the people around you and you want your life to be more deeply meaningful and fulfilling, but is unbelievably useful to know what the stories mean. it is incontrovertible fact that the free societies of the world that people find desirable, countries that people move to buy voting with their feet, are all founded on the stories that are part of the biblical library. so, either that is a consequence of chance, which is highly unlikely, or they were a something to the stories that allows us to establish societies that are the best societies, most productive societies and free of societies ever established.
