it. going back to the sense of what comes next, if you are i were in this position and had conviction overturned on procedural grounds, i don't know if i would be celebrating in the streets and taking a victory lap. but that appears jussie smollett and his team are doing. when you hear supporters and him taking a victory lap basically claiming innocence and not showing any remorse whatsoever, any shame for what happened, what goes through your mind? >> it is an outrage. began the, the supreme court did not address the manner of the underlying facts. they found no flaws with the investigation. so for somebody to take a victory lap is just gaslighting. bit is continuing to gaslight the public. but is not going to play well here to the done to his career. we will have to wait to see if those effects are long-term. it is a question of integrity and trust. it just isn't there.

of the oil production and decreasing cost of the whale. excuse me, i seem to have tom concha's cold. but i think lowering the cost of oil and cutting regulation is another thing we are looking to and cutting regulation will increase housing and cutting regulation will profit companies. we are certainly looking forward to that and the last thing we are looking forward to is the department of governmental efficiency. mr. elon musk and vivek ramaswamy cutting the fat out of the government. obviously, we saw inflation of government spending in the last administration. we will not have that here. cutting the cost of oil and government efficiency to make it more efficient will reduce prices and reduce inflation ultimately reducing interest rates and that is what we are looking forward to.

>> todd: it appears secretary-treasurer is kevin warsh. do you have a preference? >> i will tell you kevin warsh the wall street picked. i don't think he follows necessarily to trump policies on tariffs. and jason besson more in line with foreign policy when using tariffs to negotiate things. so it looks like kevin warsh might be a little bit more the aggressive what i went to call maga pick but don't necessarily have a preference one way or the other. >> todd: mortgage rates to highest level since june, 6.8%. by an october nearly 4 million homes and 2.9% increase from last year. what should we take away conflicting appears to me data points? >> late september, early oct october, interest rates went down as the fed was cutting

rates. this increase, in my opinion, might hurt home sales november to december. there is inflation in the economy. we have seen this and the reports. job reports has not been great and private sector jobs. so i think it is conflicting because they were down in september and early october when a lot of that took place. but hopefully we can get inflation under control with trump policies and interest rates come down to help the housing prices overall. speed when winter is next month and people don't like to look at new homes in the snow. that is what happens. >> my cold is already here. >> todd: i was late to work, tom carter, we appreciate it. the border flooded by illegal migrants and the biden administration failed to stop it. that can't get a green card because he doesn't have the covid-19 vaccine? we will tell you the story what they think needs to change next.

of getting to the u.s. as a freshman. we got married right after our senior year in college. that's when my immigration story started. that was two and a half years ago. go through the immigration process. you put your application in. they give you a little bit of information every six months saying we need. this we need that april of this year they said hey, we need you complete the covid-19 series. they are going to hold people hostage who want to enter this country the right way, the legal way to get these shots that are causing major health problems in young, healthy people. but, on the other side of that, you commit a felony, enter the country illegally, don't show that you have any vaccines a and you get fast tracked to citizenship. >> carley: that sums it up perfectly. riley, when you got this unless that your husband needs the covid-19 vaccine to get the green card. what was your reaction? >> well, first of all, let me just say he is here legally there has been a lot of talk on social media saying riley and her husband need to be deported.

there are other ways to be in this country, residency outside of a green card, visas, advanced parole, different things. is he in this country legally as of now. my reaction, anxiously or carley, there is so much that goes into it. the application fees. the time, the emotional investment. the immigration lawyers. there is so much if you haven't been through this process, i envy you. my reaction is what a mess our immigration system, our government has created for hard-working, tax-paying american loving individuals like my husband. we see where illegal immigration is celebrated. walk across the southern border. given a driver's license. money, housing in many cases and people like my husband aren't even able to travel outside of this country because they are not guaranteed access back into this country. and he has done everything the right way. so it's a burden that our government has placed on people. your everyday americans and people who try to enter this

country the right way. >> carley: do all the right stuff. you also pointed out when it comes to the vaccine itself you can still get covid even when you are vaccinated and illegal immigrant don't need the vaccine when they cross the border illegally. but the big question is you are such beautiful couple, what are you guys going to do? >> are we're going to keep -- we're going to help people like elon musk and vivek ramaswamy to get in and really take an ax to a lot of these government agencies. and that includes u.s. c.i. s and immigration services. >> carley: yeah. elon musk tweeted about it. he said legal immigration to america is ridiculously slow and difficult. even for super talented people need to be fixed. that was in response to your tweet about your current situation. so i hope that that does give you hope and hopefully you can stay in this country like i said you guys are great couple. so great to see you. so sorry you are going through this mess but wild story. riley, louie, great to see you.
