[applause] and he is going to be singing some christmas classics. harold? >> harold: it's good to be back, everyone come around the tree, friends, family, you may have noticed it looks a little different this year. our new lead to designed tree stands 50 feet tall and covered with 340,000 lights.

people this holiday season. still impacted from the tragic events that unfolded on october 7th of last year. rabbi steven berg sent us his holiday message from jerusalem. >> hi. greetings and welcome from jerusalem, which is known as the heart of the universe. we are sitting here with the western wall right behind side us. the temple mount, a place where thousands of years people have come from around the world to celebrate and to worship. and as we enter the holiday season of hanukkah, this is the season where we commemorate the miracle, where the jews were oppressed here in jerusalem and they fought back because freedom is so important to every single person, and during this holiday season and into the new year, we must celebrate freedom. freedom of religion. freedom to live the lives that we want to live. and i want to wish everyone and incredible, beautiful holiday season. >> thank you, rabbi. what a beautiful message. you know, christmas in new york wouldn't be complete without

merry christmas to each and every one. >> harold: thank you, pastor graham, for your work and inspiring message. as you just heard, so many communities and businesses were uprooted from the hurricanes. griff jenkins, our colleague and friend, went to high point, north carolina, to check out a university there has been assisting in relief efforts from day one. let's take a look. >> we are on the campus of high point university in north carolina. everywhere you look, it's christmas. dr. preston davis is the vice president and minister to the university. preston, just months ago, north carolina hit with the ones in a generation storm. the students here answered the call for help. tell me what they did. >> yeah, it was incredible. and hurricane helene hit, high point university was ready to help. we were fortunate to be able to collect and bring our community together, around $30,000 that went to truckload after truckload of food, clothes, as they move into that time of the year, warm clothes.

also able to practice hospitality. a sports team from another school in our conference, staying on campus for two weeks. while they got their campus back in order. and our students were those that welcomed them with open arms. >> there is a manger here, the nativity scene. it says christmas on every light post as you go through campus. what do you hope that these students take away the christmas message? >> our motto is "nothing without divine guidance," so at this time of the year when you are experiencing christmas here, we hope it is something that getting in students lives, prepare for christ who comes to meet you. >> preston, thank you. now the chamber singers sing "silent night." ♪ silent night, holy night ♪ ♪ all is calm, all is bright ♪

year after a brief but fierce battle with cancer. >> jesse: lieutenant cozzino is survived by our special guest here with us tonight, his wife,, nicholas, anthony, and isabella. also joining us is fdny commissioner robert tucker and foxes janice dean. all right, lori, what does it mean to have this type of support? >> the support has been incredible from the first responders children's foundation. they were one of the first to step in and provide us assistance. they gave us a financial grant when he first passed away, so we were able to have our basic necessities taken care of while we're waiting to get everything sorted out. they have been amazing. they have offered counseling service to the children. they have been inviting us to wonderful events such as the things giving parade and this tree lighting here. the support has just been amazing from them as well as the

fdny, the family assistance unit. they have all been absolutely amazing during this incredibly hard time. >> jesse: that's wonderful to hear. thank you so much and god bless you. >> judge jeanine: and nicholas, you know, it's been kind of a rough year. i mean, it is your first holiday, your father was a huge presence, not just in your life, but in a lot of people's lives. what do you carry with you as you go into the future of your dad? >> i just want to say or the record i'm anthony. [laughter] it's okay. >> judge jeanine: where is nicholas? okay! go ahead, nicholas. >> so it's amazing. i... taking into the future with my dad is remembering the teachings he gave us, the kind of person he was, to make sure they get to understand everything that he was in everything he was about. it's very important. >> judge jeanine: and that

both of you stay together and remind people of who's who. >> exactly. >> we need to do a better job of that. >> judge jeanine: god bless you both. >> jesse: anthony and isabella, what does this organization mean to you and what have you learned? >> it's been great. i mean, my dad being here, i learned a lot. he was the one who taught me the stuff i need to learn, and also with all of the help, it's been grateful with all of my friends, family, the fdny, of course, and it's been really good. if my dad -- if i didn't get the debt i had, i wouldn't have learned the stuff i learned from him. he has been a great person. he's always taught me who i wanted to be. he's always told me, like, stuff i shouldn't do, or he has always told me, like, don't hang out with these people, if you want to hang out with them. like, for the record. my mom does it, too. [laughter] >> jesse: your father is a great man and your mom is amazing, and you have learned a

lot. anthony? >> just of the general-ness of, the fact they have been helping us, helping the family, there is just an outlet that helps, it just means a lot to us. very grateful. >> jesse: your father would be very proud. you guys are great kids. >> judge jeanine: god bless you all. and janice, you were at the first responders day last month. can you tell us about that event? >> well, first responders day is in october, and i feel so honored to celebrate this, honor these brave men and women. i have been there mc for the second year, i will be doing it for as long as i possibly can. i'm the wife of a firefighter for most 30 years with the fdny, i know what it is like, the weight of the badge, not only for the person that goes out and risk their life every day, but for the family that sometimes, their family doesn't come home. and so, to have an organization that understands that, that supports the family, behind that
