how to talk about this issue. you notice that all through the campaign, it was this overheated rhetoric about nazis or fascism or now bringing the square into this. i don't know what the empties is to need this speak this way but not how most americans think about this issue and they think about in plain law and order term os bay the law or don't. but every time bring this inflated rhetoric in they get in trouble and they alienate people who just want somebody to solve the problems. rachel: whaing they're counting on charlie is that the press and everybody -- on their side will try to create a pr nightmare for donald trump. when this whats, i think -- the reason that won't happen at least initially is because donald trump is prioritizing gang members, criminals people like that first. so the first wave of people that he's going after are people that hopefully everybody can agree needs to leave. the country -- >> yeah.

i think you're exactly right left wing media will do everything to try to create that sob stories. where -- we enforce laws on the book and have been forever that makes the people illegal. the only lawlessness from a -- you know, governmental stand point are all of these people like the denver mayor who have these sanctuary cities who are -- it is a sanctuary from the laws that are on the books making it illegal to reside in the country. so you know, a lot of people because i think fox news and a lot of other outlets have talked about the case where you have laken riley murdered in georgia. but that's one case that we've successfully, you know, managed to sort of put into the headlines. but there are hundreds of other cases that are equally horrified and these are people that we're not just allowed to walk into the country illegally in many cases, the government, you to

the taxpayer paid to fly these people around the country. had them in custody released them and then they committed these horrible crimes. and it just sort of mazes me that the left wing media is not capable, i mean, these are amazing stories. and they -- did everything they could to try to cover them up and not report them during the election. because they didn't want the election -- they doesn't want it to hurt their candidate and they're still doing it. brian: in the headlines msnbc slammed over this op-ed headline reading laken riley's killer never stood a chance. i mean, you know, like laken riley's killer got a trial. laken riley killer got a -- quite generous. rachel: person who never stood a chance was laken riley who fought for eight longmens for her life and this past week i saw probably one of the most gut-wrenching videos i've seen on this channel which was the

moment laken riley's mother found out from the police that they had found the body of her daughter and she literally collapsed in tears on the side of the road. i've never seen anything so painful -- charlie: almost unwatchable. >> i'm so glad we have it. rachel: because it is a reminder of what actually happened because i think the press is so -- they're so hell bent on painting policy of keeping people who had not been vetted coming into the country legal. they want to whitewash this and they want to paint it as a racial -- you know, issue. as opposed to a law and order issue. >> for hispanic -- >>on on fox news this week we had an ex-minister from the dominican republic. the dominican republic is also they're in a mass deportation period themselves because haiti is collapsing. they're all of these people are trying to come over and they

can't vet the people and they want to protect their country and international community calling the dominicans racist for wanting to protect their border. so this is something we're going to be facing here very soon. back to laken riley, though, this msnbc op-ed by the legal analyst danny he says that gilt of laken riley killer was never in doubt, quote -- >> they updated that headline after the reaction to it pmg j he says her murder became a political rallying cry at the national convention because entered the country illegally in 2022 for all of the -- but for all of the political controversy. the outcome of the trial was never in doubt. verdict but he was convicted anyway. so implying listen this --

guy was ibarra was tainted by the arrest. >> they call it a political rallying cry. people are sitting at home saying political rei where should i pee and politically what's advantageous look at this laken riley thing and look a innocent young woman was killed -- it is not about politics for me. it is about my family, it is about what's happening in our country it is about the lack of leadership. i mean, the press thinks people always think in terms of political categories. this election, obviously, showed we do not always think in political categories. we think about what's happening in our lives and the lives of those we care about. rachel: fascinating when polled, hispanic americans were the ones most in favor of a secure border. they often live near the border. a lot of them live in neighborhoods where some of these illegal criminals end up, you know --

living, so -- >> bear the brunt of so much it have. let's turn to headlines daniel lawyers resting their case in the marine veterans manslaughter trial this came after their final witness a staffer in the courts clerk office testified that jordan neely had an open bench warrant at the time of his death. the defense says penny did not have to take the stangsd because jurors saw video of the nypd interrogation closing statements will begin on december 22nd, 26-year-old faces up to 15 years in prison if convicted. federal government is giving the green light to new york governor kathy hochul plan for $9 tolls for cars entering manhattan and they'll affect all cars entering manhattan below 60th street starting in january. tolls will increase to $12 in 2028 before reaching $15 in 2031 for passenger car. i guess only rich people will be allowed to come into the city.

because bobby kennedy big thrust for this is, prove safety. prove efficacy don't just mandate drugs and anything else. remove conflicts of interest. focus on public health issues, like obesity which is by far the number one public health issue in the united states, and it is linked to all of the other diseases, diabetes hypertension, cancer, and marty is very good at that. the one caution i would say is i hope we don't demonize pharma that seems to be the topic except besides sanitation of water, drugs is a number one reason why we have good health today over the past century. including antibiotics other thingings with the best outcomes from cancer, diabetes, hypertension, cholesterol these are treatment outcomes from drugs if so pharma is not all bad but there's problems. jeanette is a good communicator that's really the job. the job to communicate to the american public. the key is to communicate

accurate science and evidence instead of pursuing with fear or lies or make up videos like the previous surgeon generals did on how to construct the mask because masks don't work that's the data. so jeanette sing going to be really good and solid then and actually a doctor which is actually important meaning takes care of patients she knows how to spue toke patients and cdc this means massive reform this needs a restoration that became politicized they descrngt data during the pandemic. they were weeks old with their data, and a moving target. they were politicized and again, persuaded with really junk signs we all remember the study of a hairdressers with masks. as they posted that, and you know, we can't have that cdc is most trusted health agency in the world and that's a big task to restore. i think it's sort of a mix bag. i hope that congressman weldon
