it causes death. that happened with eric garner. eric garner had sickle trait but the medical examiner had nothing to the cause of death because sickle trait does not cause or contribute to the death. the restraint is what caused the death. arthel: you think the restraint is what caused the death? >> yes to be. >> let me move on to the city medical examiner as you know she is on the prosecutor's side and performed at neely's autopsy. she said earlier in the trial it was a profoundly improbable that neely's death was due to synthetic marijuana use and sickle cell condition which is related but not equivalent to sickle cell disease, which is what you just said. i take it that particular forensic assessment make sense to you? lex i think doctor harris assessment was absolutely on

target. a strong aversion of marijuana rarely causes death. it can but it rarely does. and it does not cause us some of the death rate disease also if somebody has sickle cell disease and are going to die from it takes days for the death to occur. while the red blood cells sickle which prevents blood, oxygen from going to the brain. when the this sick link causes h by preventing oxygen from going to the brain that takes days to develop. a chokehold is used here which is compression of both sides of the neck prevents blood which contains the oxygen and red cells from getting to the brain and causes a very quick death as has happened here if it's left on too long.

>> wondering if the jury is going to understand or have someone convey all of that in layman's terms they can break down and understand. given all of that what will have more impact on the jury's verdict in this case? will it be forensic testimony or eyewitness testimony? >> i think it will be, as happens rarely when deaths occur during the police activity a chokehold is a put on and death occurs if last too long it's rare for a prosecutor to bring a charge against the police officer. i think what will happen here is whether he should have done what he did given the fact there's so many mentally ill people that are in subways and acting peculiar and is it fair or
