arthel: police in new orleans just released a video of a harrowing encounter with the burglary suspect that ended in a shootout last month. cook show me your hands. show me your hands right now. arthel: officers were responding to calls of a home break-in. they found several rifles along with a suspect who is hiding in nearby bushes. more police units arrived to canvass the neighborhood that is when one officer found the suspect trying to get away. that led to a struggle and a shootout.

likely died from methanol poisoning. so, how do someone and up with methanol in their system? >> methanol poisoning is not new it's been known for over 100 years. but, the problem is that incorrectly or speedily distilled alcohol spirits can contain methanol. again it does not take very much methanol to be toxic as little as 2 teaspoons 10 cc can cause blindness more than 15 cc so a tablespoon or several tablespoons can cause death. the good thing about methanol poisoning if there is as it can be treated if treated properly. there are anecdotes from methanol poisoning. again people do not know they have it. what has caused some of this developing countries have been the availability of mixed drinks or even distilled products that contain methanol. they're very inexpensive.

and his passing? >> well, i could go on for a long time talking about the special person. because the passing of chuck woolery leaves a huge void in our lives. he was not only a personal friend for a lot of years, but he was a true pro who was the absolute best at his profession. i cannot think of anyone who could top the work of chuck woolery. i had the pleasure of his friendship from my early days working with merv griffin. chuck and susan stafford of course, where the original hosts of one of the most popular and long-running game shows ever, wheel of fortune. and nobody was better than what they did.

at least couple of three minutes. then, although it sounds easy, it's not as easy as it sounds. i have always enjoyed it. i do not know what i would have done had i not been a game show host. of course i started as a dj and that just lead into the game show hosting world. i had either, golly, hate to say this but it is true. i've either hosted or produced 21 different game shows. which i guess it tells me i cannot hold a job, i don't know. how did you know when you heard him at first about that talent? >> i just happen to be at the radio station that night. in the summer of 54. i had no idea o transpire but in walks dewi phideweyphillips who was the mot popular dj from 9:00 p.m. until midnight on radio in memphis. it was not even a record they just cut it a couple hours earlier. it's a song called that's alright mama but it turned out to be the very first hit record by this unknown person who would soon be known by the world, elvis pressley. i happen to be there that night and he became my friend. we remain friends forever. support wink martindale we think it we thank you for your thoughts on chuck woolery in entertaining us for all of these
