interest: it's in nobody's interest. we have to remember especially in new york city, 9/11. what happened? we didn't communicate. nypd didn't communicate with, obviously federal agents, so that's how the terrorists got. in so, we need some communications and what we're doing here is we are shielding them. the governor, democratic governors and the mayors of these sanctuary cities are shielding criminals. and terrorists, brian. so this is why it's so very important to start cooperating. >> brian: you say the problem is the city council, correct? because they are left wingers, ultra left wingers? >> yeah. and over the years, they are shielding these illegal aliens who are commissioner crimes. which is unbelievable. why would you want to keep them in our country to really attack citizens but not only that, but conspire, possibly, and we have gotten terrorists gotten across the borders, we know it.
4:44 am
we don't know where theyity. that's very, very dangerous. >> brian: you have a mayor that could do something about it. governor will ultimately make decision. what could mayor adams do? because he has expressed frustration like you have expressed. >> yeah. but he can also petition the governor. he could possibly do, you know, some -- call on city council, let's negotiate. this let's try to amend some of the sanctuary city laws, four of them over the years that the council has passed to have less cooperation with the feds. we need to cooperate with ice, especially on the illegal aliens that are committing crime. and that's what i'm really focusing on and also the possible terrorists that are in new york city. >> brian: mayor adams has a problem. if the governor wants him out with the indictments that has already been served him, he could be kicked out. if he takes on the governor, it's not going to work for him,

personally. is that an issue? president trump: if you are going to violate the federal laws, the statutes we have on the books, it's a felony to shield and harbor illegal aliens who have committed crimes. you can't do that you can't shield them from ice. the president, actually, could say to the governor and to the mayor. cooperate with us or we are going to charge with you felonies? how is that one, brian? that's a reverse now. now we can have the governor and the mayor charged with a felony for shielding and harboring illegal aliens, which tom homan said on fox last week to lawrence, by the way. he said, you know, don't cross that line because it is a felony and we will hold you accountable. >> brian: absolutely. thanks for watching fox. you are part of the common sense caucus. three democrats, six republicans who care more about the country and this the party and we appreciate it robert holden. thanks so much.
