border. >> we care that violent criminals get off our soil. we're excited to be part of that in texas. texas has been standing in the g gap. we have a lot of good things going on here. >> griff: here are numbers under biden-harris administration, 10 and a half million encounters 1.7 million gotaways. and greg abbott will be talking about arresting and deporting venezuelan tren de aragua gang members, he says it is priority for incoming admin stlagz and texas to crack down. >> steve: you played sound bite from the texas land commissioner. texas is acres to help trump with his plan, setting things up for when he takes office 55 days from now, right?
5:04 am
>> griff: that is right and tom homan is not sitting around, he is hitting the ground running. mass deportation of just violent criminals upward of a million or more are top targets and they'll have to be held somewhere. current facility is lacking so this land commissioner's offer is welcomed from incoming administration from sources i talked to. >> brian: happens. he'll get 1.4 million acres from t texas. and there is sentiment to finish the wall. >> lawrence: that is part of a slight correction, part of
5:05 am
reason we're giving government that land, we were going to build the wall there. people we bought it from said we couldn't build the wall there. the land owner. it is sitting there now and now they'll build facilities there. you have to house these people somewhere as they go through deportation process. >> ainsley: and president trump is not in office yet and saying he's slapping tariffs on canada, me mexico, if you don't fix this, i will slap you with 25% tariff and tom homan said he guarantees funds will be cut for states who do not support the deportation plan. >> brian: throwing off would-be traffickers. >> steve: the border wall, interesting to see, trump has not talked that much about the wall in the last couple months,
5:06 am
just the fact he's threatening 25% tariff against canada and mebs mebs unless they stop flow there side. we can have people on their side, when they step foot in the united states, they have to be adjudicated. he made it clear, stop them on your side or your companies will be burdened with gigantic tariff. >> lawrence: brian talked to tom homan earlier in the show. >> we are not waiting until january 20th, we are planning what we'll do to lock down the state of texas. governor greg abbott has done a great job, illegal crossings are down 80%, he's taken trump policies and put to work. president trump will have to come in with executive orders. remain in mexico issue lowest

5:08 am
your back. >> brian: pete hegseth said the same thing, he has people saying, i'm signing up and going back if you're in control. >> lawrence: the book he wrote, everyone is now criticizing, "new york times" best seller "war on warriors" there are people reaching out to him telling him more stories. they'll make that a big thing about how he talked about raiding military and dei woke folks in military, go back to doing defense they are supposed to be doing.n to fill florida congressman michael waltz seat as president trump rounds out his team. >> ainsley: peter doocy joins us. >> peter: voters wanted michael waltz to represent them in florida, but donald trump wants
5:09 am
michael waltz as national security advisor so trump endorsed randy fine. before randy fine announced a run, that happened 45 minutes ago. >> i believe president trump was saved so he could save the world, when he said i could help him, i didn't have a choice, i'll run for sixth congressional district of florida. fighting for the border or standing up for israel and standing up toin china, i'm ready to go. >> peter: and changes in the fbi. wrays he will stay onboard, kash patel is in the mix for a top job possible at deputy level because senate confirmation is not clear after patel warned of retaliating against trump's
5:10 am
political rivals, they may not be popular with republican senators. elon musk is in the mix, he and vivek ramaswamy are trying to hire experts to help fill out their waste government cutting doge, and trying to hire an ai czar, that could be key tool in the doge, going line by line and figu figuring out where there is waste. depending how china decides to use ai, could be defining issue of trump's next term. he just talked to xi jinping and president biden is out of here in a couple hours for thanksgiving in nantucket. >> steve: mr. fine wants to take mr. waltz seat.
5:11 am
parentally jimmy petronace, ceo of florida on tap to replace matt gaetz, what about rmarco rubio, big senate seat? any suggestion from governor desantis who that person might be? >> peter: not from desantis, he is a florida resident, lots of political connection, but nothing from desantis himself, who could go a million different ways with this. >> ainsley: when does he have to do that? >> lawrence: from the office -- >> peter: marco rubio will not vacate the seat until inauguration day, no hurry for desantis. >> brian: stop backing up. >> lawrence: they are talking about patel being tapped for a
5:12 am
deputy position, i talked about a couple weeks ago probably deputy fbi, but i'm hearing missouri ag andrew bailey is being tapped to lead the fbi. >> brian: and get rid of christopher wray? >> steve: first they have to fire him and trump suggested that, hasn't talked about that and incoming vice president j.d. vance suggested via x they would fire him. >> lawrence: he's as good as gone. >> ainsley: massive legal victory for donald trump that we learned, jack smith, two interrogations he has about the election interference and classified documents case, both dismissed. newsweek learned and threw -- what is it called when you get a foya, found out how much moneyis cas were costing you the
5:13 am
tax taxpayer grand total of 50 million. >> steve: jack smith asked two courts to shut down the two cases, the judge in d.c. has done that, still waiting on the other one. jack smith is following the law, dou cannot prosecute a sitting president of the united states. donald trump won the election and in 55 days will be sitting president, essentially jack smith realizes, i can't do this in 55 days and pulled the plug on it. >> brian: jack smith spent 50 million, will put out a report and say this is exact case i was going to put forward, another one or two days with opposition. for most part, this is done, finished, through, from president trump's perspective, this was expected. next is new york civil case, the one that hurt his company, had
5:14 am
to take out a bond for. by questions, it looks egregious, no one complaining except leticia james. if he can get rid of that fine. it is civil trial. >> lawrence: to follow-up on that, the notion of holding this stuff now. because even in jack smith case, the judge did not dismiss it with prejudice, so essentially they could hold and then when he leaves office still try to come after him, same for new york. why not just get rid of all this for the good of the country? he'll be in his 80s, are you going to try to throw him, i mean, jack smith case has mandatory minimums, he would have to be in prison. why not get rid of this now? >> steve: right and statute of
5:15 am
limitations would have run out although some are suggesting -- >> lawrence: bootstrap with a felony and we have another case there. >> steve: federal stuff, some are suggesting would not count when he's president and would still be time on the clock. and brian talked about how business record case hurt trump's company, there is gigantic penalty facing him, although on hold. here is the thing, that case helped him become president of the united states. before the primary season started, ron desantis was ahead in polling by 25 or 35 points ahead of donald trump. when alvin bragg brought this case, people are going, what is going on with that and he was able to talk about, this is not fair to me and able to use it. ultimately, that one is on ice, these two that came after it, have now officially gone away.
5:16 am
>> ainsley: he used that to help with the election. remember at the al smith dinner, he is speaking and roasting and mayor adams and leticia james were there and he was roasting her, same thing happening to mayor adams. >> brian: everything blew up in their face and trump able to persevere for a year and a half and the other thing we're talking about is dei and the president has a mission to rid our country of dei, beginning to happen organically, walmart is latest major corporation to do it. things will change with that company, with walmart. number one, getting rid of diversity, equity and inclusion. one overarching thing if you want to get rid of woke and dei, understand you have to stop believing america is riddled
5:17 am
with inwitties and only with people and system of racism itself that need to be overhauled, if you get rid of that premise, go back to what the country was. >> lawrence: you remember after the floyd murder, there were all these companies that pledged all this money to black lives matter and they got it and fortune magazine, black lives matter did it, fortune magazine paid black lives matter, none of the companies did programs they talked about. it was a scam, pr stunt and the company is moving forward. antis >> ainsley: there is robby starbuck leading the campaign talking about companies and woke policies and he warned walmart executives, if you don't change your dei, i'm calling you out
5:18 am
and had conversation with the walmart ceo or whoever is in charge and they found solutions. remove sexual and transgender products inappropriately marketed to children, reviewing grants to pride events targeting children. >> steve: and walmart, in that story, i believe fox business, walmart said we have been thinking about rolling back this stuff over last couple years, they said, it had nothing to do with robby starbuck, the filmmaker who suggested he would go after them. walmart has a good company, big corporations like john deer, ford, toyota, all rolled back their dei initiatives because times have changed. >> lawrence: carley has other news. >> carley: i do. fox news alert. police officer in texas has died

5:21 am
did you know that? we reached out to dean for comment on his favorite rice brand, we'll let you know if it is uncle ben or ben's original and goya makes a good product. >> lawrence: i love how brian thought this was a moment for me and him to bond. lawrence, don't you know -- what is he talking about? we got to root of it, okay. >> brian: fact carley's news is dominated by my faux pas, it is unbelievable. >> carley: you are headline making. >> ainsley: what is funny, we bash brian all morning, he's giving us content. >> lawrence: he does. >> ainsley: the rv. >> lawrence: this is who he is, though. it is -- a briefcase full of content. >> steve: you miss a little, you miss a lot.
