commanders or rocket launchers or their financial system or their secret production sites is a good day for hezbollah. they definitely have an interest in keeping it. what they also have an interest to do is to slowly creep back into southern lebanon and start to rebuild their military infrastructure there with the aim of threatening israeli civilians. we've been in this story before and know how it goes. they will look like civilians and dress like civilians and we'll find them on our border again. one of the biggest issues with this probably positive development of a cease-fire is that probably the weakest point is how will it be implemented knowing that the lebanese armed forces are not up for the task, knowing that the u.n. forces in southern lebanon are clearly not up for the task. it was in the end rely on israeli capabilities to defend itself.

show leadership here and hold the iranian regime accountable for its aggression. i personally don't think that -- i don't hope or assess that we will have american boots on the ground or american airmen fighting the iranians. i think israel will be happy to do that by itself but what israel will need is a strong and very loyal ally to the united states is continued diplomatic support and military support, spare parts and munitions and israel will be happy to take care of its security and continue to fight its enemies and the enemies of america. >> john: we'll find out soon what will be on the table for the new trump administration. jonathan, good to catch up with you again. thank you, sir. >> thank you and good morning. >> dana: president-elect trump is putting china on notice. beijing is pushing back. mike gallagher weighs in next. plus ice is taking on the violent venezuelan gang of tren de aragua with a brand-new task

getting the word out. it went so well and so much support that when the dust settled we decided to double the amount to 10 1/2 million. we thought it was the right thing to do and we're humbled to have the platform to do something like this. >> dana: one of the things, bear, that you said there is a marine veteran, single father of three with a spinal injury that left him paralyzed for a while. his bill was $183,000. it is now 0 thanks to you and your efforts and all the people that donated and bought the gear from born primitive. what kind of relief does a man like that have once that debt is erased from his to do list? >> dana, it is a huge relief. i was able to speak to quite a few of these recipients and called them and hear the story of the second and third order effects of their financial situation when you start getting called by creditors and your credit score goes down and wages garnished is something that a
