>> fox news digital has exclusively learned that nearly a dozen of president-elect donald trump cabinet nominees and other appointees tapped for the incoming administration were targeted with "violent, un-american threats to their lives and those who live with them." these threats prompted a swift law enforcement response. hello, everyone. this is "outnumbered." i'm emily compagno. joining me julie banderas, dr. nicole saphier, fox news contributor and board-certified physician, nicole parker, former fbi special agent, and fox news contributor and dana webb -- david webb. peter doocy is at the white house live with the details. peter. >> emily this is a potential national security problems we have reached out to the national security council at the white house to find out what they are tracking. we will bring you their answer. we've been in touch with officials with the transition team at mar-a-lago. they are not willing to any

further at this time than this statement. we made a graphic so you can follow along. last night and this morning several nominees and appointees were targeted and violent un-american threats to their lives and those who live with them. these attacks ranged from bomb threats to swatting. law enforcement and authorities acted quickly to ensure the safety of those who were targeted. president trump and the entire transition team are grateful for their swift action. just as we were coming to hear we learn to at least one of these trump appointees or trump nominees was. who received one of these threats last night. it was elise stefanik, who president trump wants to be the ambassador to the united nations. she says "this morning congresswoman elise stefanik, her husband and their 3-year-old son were driving home to saratoga county from washington

for thanksgiving when they were informed of a bomb threat to their residents." she goes on to describe a pretty robust response. we were also told, fox news digital, that the director of the cia nominee, john radcliffe, and pete hegseth, the dod nominee, were among those targeted. keep in mind these are all private citizens right now who are up for big jobs in the future, and when somebody takes over the defense department, they would have pentagon police. when somebody takes over the cia, they would have ca police but right now they are private citizens living in their homes preparing for confirmation hearing so they don't have security details per se to deal with something like a swatting incident with the police show up because of, with guns drawn potentially because of an erroneous tip of some kind of violent action.

we will bring you more names and white house response as we have it. president biden is vacationing in nantucket at the moment. we don't know if he's been briefed. >> emily: peter doocy, thank you. we hope there are no more names. we hope the message coming from the white house is one of support. good thing we have the experts on the couch, perfect timing. nicole parker. as peter pointed out, these guys are not yet under the protection of secret service and the like. what are they looking at? what will the response be and how can we ensure their safety? >> nicole: first of all, that's an extremely good point because when you are a sworn an individual, then you have the protection. they do not have that right now. having worked on a task force i can tell you i have worked with these types of threats, bomb threats, threats to life, i hope the fbi is getting in there immediately and looking at this because i can tell you basically
9:05 am
any threats crosses straight st. the fbi should be all over this. no one should have to live in fear because they've been asked to serve their country. that was reprehensible. it is un-american and there can be no tolerance for this and must be nipped right now so that those out there think this is not going to be tolerated and they have to locate who these individuals are and they need to be facing consequences and accountability. threats are not okay. again, the fbi is fully capable of tracking these people down. we used it to do it all of the time and i sure hope they bring them to justice soon and this does not continue. >> emily: to clarify, with the fbi tasked with protecting these individuals? or to identify who's making the threats only? >> that's a good question. not only would they be tasked with it but we know certain things can happen if it is brought down from the administration and they say we need something. working for the fbi, therapy

threats to judges, agents and they would provide protective detail. if they can do that with those situations i would think they will come up with a solution for this because no one should have to live in fear. their family should not live in fear and they should not be targets of these types of attacks. >> emily: frightening. david, break down in this gray area, what are they facing? there might be potentially additional names. is this strain the resources in place? >> david: always strains resources and then you have to reallocate. this isn't limited potentially to just a domestic threat whether it causes a state line. with iran, russia, contractor actors in eastern europe, chinese agencies set up to do this. we have elements in latin america. the problem for the fbi is to find the source of the threat. is it routed through an eastern european server or does it come
9:07 am
from an enemy? it's not just limited to the states. then you also have to expand to the families because these threats include multiple members of families. look at the numbers of trump family members alone or look at these families, four or five members, a kid going to school. you never know until you dig in further and that's where not only fbi but intelligence comes into play. we have intelligence gathering services. they should be tracking what's going on around the world on a moment by moment basis looking for chatter, looking for anything that indicates this is some other type of threat. >> emily: again, as we transition to these official offices or through the confirmation process, the reality is frightening in that there isn't already that structure in place. president trump elect has amassed this avengers squad. in a moment it's going to be "mess around and find out" but
9:08 am
in the interim i want to make sure our future avengers are protected now. >> julie: this is due to the angry vitriol that came from the democratic party during the presidential election. they have painted the republicans with such an evil stroke to convince a lot of people who are ignorant, uninformed and uneducated that the republican party is the devil and if you are around a republican, they hate you. they hate everyone who is of a minority status, they hate women. they don't want anyone to have rights. they want to deport every single illegal immigrant in this country. not true. they have been fed so much b.s. of this is why this is happ happening. the democratic party is 100% responsible for these threats. i'd like to hear from kamala harris. kamala harris loved to talk about -- why doesn't she say look, anyone trying to target a republican,
9:09 am
it is absolutely unacceptable. i guarantee you will not hear a word from the vice president or president. >> emily: we went through this with two horrific assassinations of knapp president-elect trump. at the moment it seemed to foster a call for unity in attempting down of rhetoric. this is the time to have the administration come out. >> the biden administration said they were for unity and they wanted your bring americans and that shouldn't stop because they lost the election. you glossed over it briefly. talking about the resources. these threats are being made by cowards. the thing they are doing is they are un-american but they are un-american in the sense that the only people are really getting hurt here are americans. your citizens are getting hurt here. every time they call out for swatting, that's $10,000 of taxpayers to cover that. not to mention we have longer than normal response times for ems and emergency services.
9:10 am
thanksgiving week is one of the busiest weeks of the year for emergency services. you have people at home having heart attacks and strokes and are not going to get their advice because you have these cowards at home or trying to up and our democracy. >> emily: will keep you apprised of all development of these violent threats to trump nominees. stay with us. more "outnumbered" next. come on in, how are you? for god so loved the world that he gave his only son. so that everyone who believes in him might not perish, but might have eternal life.

the community, the family, the neighbors. lee has got his family and that's good. but it disrupts the entire, you talk about the ems component, emergency services are out there. this is a deliberate effort by whoever is doing it and it's coordinated. you do not have this level of identifying addresses, committing yourself to swatting, trying to hide whether it's through burner phones are fake email addresses or some way to contact law enforcement. this is much bigger than just call, a prank call. that's not what it is. the disruption to the neighbors, to others around, they need to be vocal about this. this needs to be a response from the american people that we are not going to tolerate this. was it you that talked earlier about the democrats? the threat to democracy, the threat to your life. oprah winfrey saying it's the end, you'll never have a vote again? they are all guilty up and down the level whether it's

oprah winfrey all the way down to kamala harris. >> emily: julie, to david's point, you are talking out the rhetoric and the climate. lee zeldin he was running for governor here new york state, he was in rochester in july of 2022 i believe and he was attacked by a man with a sharp weapon, a seeming knife. thanks to leigh's quick action in other men, the man was subdued but this is the second time at least. >> lee is a lovely family man. he comes on the couch on "outnumbered" many times. the reason this is happening, this particular message, pro-palestinian message is exactly what i was talking about because kamala harris has been so strong and the democratic party so strong and crying out about the deaths and civilian casualties of the palestinians but not so much the israelis and that's why you see the heat across the country in the anti-semitism.

this is exactly why. they are targeting republicans. they have bull's-eyes on their backs. >> emily: we don't have get any details, any more details about these threats, who is behind them, the authenticity of things that were written. we don't yet know the ideology or what else is behind these threats so nicole, talk to us about that investigation would look like and what questions the fbi's asking to ensure the safety of these candidates and to ascertain the motives behind these frightening threats. >> nicole: absolutely. it looks like it's highly orchestrated, very well organized. the coincidence that they are coming out at the same time, that's not a coincidence. regardless of who is behind this, all hands on deck and we have to give accolades to local law enforcement. they are the first line of defense for our citizens and for individuals of this. they are the ones that are going to protect you. the fbi, i guarantee your special agents are going to be missing their thanksgiving dinners and rightfully so

because your -- it is your job to protect these individuals. they are sowing chaos and fear. >> dr. saphier: we keep hearing they are threats. pipe bomb threats. as lee zeldin said. we hope to end up being threats but all it takes is for one of them, some want to make real on the threat and now you're talking about death and destruction. this is very serious. we can't just write it off as oh, they are getting all. expecting that after an election. absolutely not. we cannot tolerate this. there has to be zero tolerance and i am for the biden-harris administrations to come out strong on this. >> emily: i second that. more "outnumbered." stay with us.
