10:01 pm
welcome to a special edition of jesse watters primetime. i'm kayleigh mcenany, and for jesse, we start with a fox news alert. we have breaking news this hour as lurking enemies set their sights on the incoming trump administration. listen to this. nearly a dozen trump picks have been targeted by violent bomb threats and swatting attacks, prompting law enforcement to respond. quote, the fbi is aware of numerous bomb threats and swatting incidents targeting incoming administration nominees and appointees, and we are working with our law enforcement partners. we take all potential threats seriously and as alway, encourage members of the public to immediately report anything they consider suspicious to law enforcement. now, pete hegseth, elise stefanik, you know these names, john ratcliffe, lee zeldin, brooke rollins, howard lutnick, scott turner, lori chavez, deremer, and tom homan have all been confirmed as
10:02 pm
targets of these threats. but targets like tom homan told fox they are not backing down. i'll be honest with you, i have not taken it serious up to this point. now that i know what's happened in the last 24 hours, i will take it a little bit more serious. i think the first rule is not to be intimidated. i'm not going to be intimidated by these people. i'm not. they're not going to silence me. look, i'm going to do this job. i'm going to do this job because it's a it's an issue of national security. so you're not going to shut me up. i'm not going away, and i'm going to do this job. now, thankfully, law enforcement has deemed these threats not credible, as no devices were found at the targets homes. but this all comes after a series of violent threats and even assassination attempts that haunted the trump campaign. from thomas matthew crooks to ryan ruth, there's been an overt attempt to dismantle the trump presidency. now, separately, u.s. intelligence agencies have claimed iran to be the mastermind behind
10:03 pm
several plots to kill president donald trump. in fact, it was just a few weeks back that the u.s. department of justice charged three people with murder for hire, including a man named farad shaqiri, who the fbi described as an asset of iran's islamic revolutionary guard corps. now, according to the complaint, the irgc tasked shaqiri with tracking and killing trump to avenge the death of iranian general qassem soleimani. the threat of violence against trump and his team doesn't seem to be slowing down. is this the new political norm for america? let's ask oklahoma senator markwayne mullin the perfect guest for this. senator mullin, thank you for joining me. you know, you will be sitting across from these nominees, the ones whose faces i put up on the screen, who are the victims of threats. you'll be sitting across from them in two months. are you worried for their safety? you know, kelly, most of these are also close friends of mine, and it's ridiculous what's happening. but it's not
10:04 pm
surprising. the left, the democrat party that says they're the party of tolerance and they're a party of inclusion. actually, they don't like anybody that doesn't agree with them. but this this rhetoric that they have continued to spread about the nominees. let's use tulsi gabbard, for example. just sunday, tammy duckworth was on cnn and said she was a russian asset. they said that these that these nominees are a threat to democracy. bobby kennedy has been a threat to science because how dare he question science? pete has been called a misogynist racist. they they compared president trump to russia and a threat to democracy and his whole administration. so this this rhetoric that the left has, has fed their base is what's caused this. and yes, i worry about their safety because we saw if they're willing to go after president trump on two separate assassination attempts, that has a tremendous amount of security. most of these nominations or these nominees,
10:05 pm
they don't even have security yet because they're not confirmed. so it's extremely concerning to me. absolutely. and not only that, i mean, someone like robert o'brien, who i worked with in the white house, he was former national security advisor. the white house yanked his security detail. he was on an iranian assassination list, and it was kim cheatle, the former secret service head that just yanked his security. you know, as you think about this, and we don't know who's behind this, the fbi, they say they're looking into it. do you trust that the fbi can get to the bottom of this? you know, i think they can they can find maybe the source because it had to be coordinated when you had this many individuals that are threatened. threatened the same way. threatened with pro-palestinian packaging or rhetoric. i would say that it's going to be connected to a few or to a group. the fbi will be really it'll be really interesting how long it'll take them to hunt it down, but they
10:06 pm
will find out. the bigger question now is what we do moving forward. kaylee, we in congress are going to have to probably put extra money into the secret service to allow them to start protecting the nominees that are already put forth and the right now, the secret service is protecting 32, maybe 33 at the time. and they're stretched pretty thin to add these extra knobs on top of that, which they're going to have to do, we're going to have to allow extra money for it, but it's important for it to take place. it's extremely concerning. and at the same time, president biden and vice president kamala harris, they're going to have to come forth and tell their group to calm down, to not take it this far, because they're the ones that fed the fire and they're also the ones that can kill the fire, no doubt about it. senator markwayne mullin, thank you very much. have a wonderful thanksgiving. and on that note, you have a good thanksgiving
10:07 pm
tomorrow. most of us will be sitting around a thanksgiving table with loved ones, telling each other what we are thankful for and in the spirit of the holiday that listen to this, the harris campaign, they got back together this week around a table, but no one was in a good mood to say thanks. instead, they came up with grievances and even a bit of denial on the side. just listen to harris senior adviser and former obama campaign manager, david plouffe. it was a dead heat race, but, you know, at the end of the day, you know, the political atmosphere was pretty brutal, given that we had a challenging political environment. the fact that we got the race to a dead heat was positive. so i think where kamala harris campaigned, we were able to keep the tide down a little bit, margin of error, race where we inherited a deficit. we got it to even. what is he talking about? a dead heat got it to even trump won all seven swing states. all seven of them. he won the
10:08 pm
popular vote outright. the first republican to do that in 20 years. trump also got more votes in raw vote total than any republican nominee in history in all 50 states, including d.c. moved closer to the right. but the race was close. really, that's what they're going with. i mean, in hindsight, the race was never in doubt because kamala harris refused to break away from joe biden during the campaign. i remember this nbc told us that her reticence to break from biden was because, according to one source, quote, her level of loyalty is incredible. but was her loyalty really the problem? she felt like she was part of the administration. so why should she look back and pick out cherry, pick some things that she would have done differently when she was part of it? and she also she had tremendous loyalty to president biden. imagine if we said, well, we would have taken this approach on the border. imagine the round of stories coming out
10:09 pm
after that of people saying, well, she never said that in a meeting. or what meeting? when she said this, or i remember when she did that and it was just it wasn't going to give us what we needed because it wouldn't be a clean break. the best we could do and the most that she felt comfortable with was saying, like, look, vice presidents never break with their presidents. the truth is, she never pushed back on biden in meetings, ever. she was complicit in the four year decline of america, and she knew if she suggested otherwise, biden's vindictive staff would leak like a sieve to the press. it's why the campaign spent five weeks hiding her from the media, because they simply could not figure out the answer to the easiest question how are you different than joe biden? but the harris campaign is still full of excuses, and they say it is not their fault. no, it's the media's watch. kamala's campaign manager, jen o'malley dillon. i am not a media hater
10:10 pm
by any measure, and i think that, you know, we women don't get far in life talking about double standards, so that's not the point. 107 days, two weeks up because of a hurricane. two weeks. talking about how she didn't do interviews real people heard in some way that we were not going to have interviews, which was both not true and also so counter to any kind of standard that was put on trump that i think that was a problem. and then on top of that, we would do an interview. and to stephanie's point, the questions were small and processy and about like dum dum dum. they were not informing a voter who was trying to listen to learn more or to understand well if the goal was to inform voters, maybe the harris campaign should have done a little less. call her daddy and more fox news or even joe rogan, who they say they just had no time for. but meanwhile, they were begging to be
10:11 pm
interviewed by this youtube show called the hot ones, where guests sit down and eat spicy chicken wings. now, how would that have informed voters? would that have moved the needle? the youtube show actually denied kamala's request. so was the harris campaign really that out of touch? i mean, even democrats strong democrats, avowed ones to the kamala campaign are realizing it. it was disappointing at best, hearing their lack of self-awareness, their lack of self-reflection, the inability to figure out a way in which you could win this race. simple. simply providing messaging and saying that we're up where by you don't believe that in your heart of hearts to be true. i just think what disappointing. but the campaign is not in the mood to be lectured by bakari sellers. they are playing the victim card. it's a party problem. republicans don't make trump apologize. and as stephanie
10:12 pm
said, we don't have to mimic i. but i think that there are a lot of times where if you're in the democratic party and you step out of line, yeah, you get punished for it. we put out an ad with a cuss word in it and the amount of feedback that we got that's true was insane. but someone has to get punished here. i mean, they lost. and the squad says the campaign made a huge misstep by flaunting liz cheney's endorsement. the great ilhan omar says, quote, it does say something about where your priorities are, even if those are not your priorities. some democrats say they lost because they were scared of their donors. i think that they need to change their policies. it's a policy thing. yes, it's 100% a policy thing because it's boring, which is the boring answer, although it would be very self-serving for me to say i'm the left's joe rogan. the democratic party should give me millions of dollars. that's not going to solve this problem. what will solve this problem is if the democratic party actually adopts real left wing
10:13 pm
economic populist messaging, instead of purposefully avoiding that stuff because they're terrified of upsetting their corporate donors. i mean, man, this list of excuses is getting longer than hillary's infamous scroll of scapegoats. after the 2016 election, democrats are going to have to do a serious autopsy around the thanksgiving table tomorrow, and they have to figure out what to do with kamala. some democrats never want to see her again. they're begging her to not run in four years. they don't even want her to run for governor of california. the thing that troubles me about kamala harris in that politico story that reported that this morning, is, okay, maybe she'll run for governor of california. maybe she'll run for president again. i still don't know what she stands for, which is part of the reason that she lost. you know, the campaign did not have a message that connected with voters. there was a lack of authenticity. kamala and biden created a mess. that's
10:14 pm
the truth. and it's so bad that democrats have to start from scratch. listen to the washington post. they say this. we suggest that the best place to start is in the very states that are losing population. ideally, democrats could point to the states where they control government and their largest cities as demonstration projects that show democratic policies could work for the nation. at the moment, they are not. john morgan is the founder of morgan and morgan and a former major democratic donor. john, i was thrilled to have you tonight, and i wanted you to react to this. this was reporting out of politico about what kamala harris was doing in hawaii. privately, the vice president has been instructing advisers and allies to keep her options open, whether for a possible 2028 presidential run or even to run as governor in the state of california in two years. as harris has repeated in phone calls. i am staying in the fight. your reaction to that? well, my reaction is, you
10:15 pm
know, she thinks she's obama. she goes to hawaii because obama goes to hawaii. she started talking like obama imitating obama. she is not barack obama. she is has no talent. she can never run for president again. she ran once and got zero delegates. she got 8% of california. i begged them not to put her up. she was going to be tethered to biden no matter what. that was a zero sum game for her. but she thought that all these votes were for her. they were not the votes that she got were people voting against trump and the votes that trump got were the people voting for trump. what the harris campaign should have done instead of avoiding joe rogan and podcast, it turns out that barron trump, who looks like a runway model, was
10:16 pm
telling his father, you need to go on podcast. you need to go on. joe rogan. you know, he was three hours late to a rally because he was doing joe rogan because that was so important. so barron trump is a lot smarter than everybody in the harris. they said they didn't go on joe rogan, the progressives around her. you heard what carville said. the progressives didn't want to go on. joe rogan. look, if i'm running, i'm going on joe rogan. i'm living on fox. that's how you change minds. they played hide the ball. they lost badly. she should go away and never, ever come back. she spent almost $2 billion. they're raising money this week to pay off the debt. if you can't run your campaign, you sure can't run the country. john. that is the most honest assessment. and i think the most accurate one i've heard
10:17 pm
from a democrat. so far. and i'm curious for you as you move forward as a party, who is the future of your party? well, my future look, i'm a bill clinton democrat, and each year that's gone by, i've been pushed further and further and further out the squad, defund the police, woke. it pushes people like me. i am not a democratic socialist. i was was a democrat with a capital c capitalist, and i now am a registered independent because i cannot abide that business. and look, i love joe biden. i think he did a great job. if you look at the record, i know a lot of you all disagree, but objectively, i think history is going to be good to him. but joe biden is the end of my line with democrats because of the heresies of this world and the
10:18 pm
progressives pushing her to not go on. joe rogan, that's where she should have been. just where barron trump told his dad to go and all the other podcasts. so that's where i am today. i'm more for people than party in florida, i ran two amendments. i legalized medical marijuana and i raised the minimum wage. had to get 60% of the vote. we did. you know why most of us agree on most things. when you take the dnr down. so i would say to that to the squad and the defund the police crowd mission accomplished. i'm out. yeah. john morgan, we disagree on a lot. we are from different sides of the aisle, but we are both floridians. and i think we both acknowledge reality. it seems like you did tonight, john morgan. thank you and welcome to the independents. so that's interesting. thank you very much. all right. thank you. bye. all right. well, mark thiessen is a washington post
10:19 pm
columnist and fox news contributor. i mean, mark, that was some of the most honest analysis i have heard. do you think the broader party will engage in that level of self-reflection? i doubt it, so i think they have gone straight through and run straight through thanksgiving and started festivus with the airing of grievances, because that's what's happening on the left right now. the i mean, but think about how different this is than trump's last victory in 2016. so what happened after trump won one last time? he didn't win the popular vote. so they went out and tried to delegitimize his presidency. there was the it was there was not my president. and they started you know, the women's march with all those pink hats and they were trying they were trying to say that he colluded with russia to steal the election. and then they launched the mueller probe and then the two impeachments and then the 91 indictments and all the rest of it. they went on an active jihad to try and destroy this man's presidency. and he beat it all. and now, not only did he beat it all, americans knowing everything they accused
10:20 pm
him of, including calling his supporters garbage and saying that he was a that he was hitler. they went into the voting booth and they delivered him not just an electoral college victory, but a popular vote landslide. so the democrats are sitting right now stunned, still weeks after this, after this vote, trying to figure out what the hell they did wrong. i think i know the answer to this question, and i really feel naive even asking it. but because trump did have such a victory and because they're so stunned, do you think that the resistance will ebb a little bit from the media, from the left, or do you think they're rearing ready to go with the same antics? impeachment one, impeachment two come shortly after january? i think that it's hit a brick wall. i think they would love to do that. i think they would love to resist. but what else can you throw at him? i mean, literally 91 indictments. i mean it literally as he says, al capone. you know, i always say charles manson only had 12. he had 91, 91 indictments. they did everything that they
10:21 pm
possibly could. they threw everything but the kitchen sink at him. and it didn't stop him. he's stronger now than he was before. so if you're smart, what do you do? you. if i was chuck schumer, i would. what i would do is what i should have done in 2016, which is reach out my hand across the aisle to try and work with him and try and get some things done and show that you want to work towards for the betterment of the party, for the betterment of the country, and not for the betterment of your party. that would be the smart thing to do. there's a lot of things that he campaigned on that are heterodox for conservatives, that are, you know, like no tax on tips. that's that was his original idea. but that's, you know, no tax on social securit. there's a lot of things in his agenda that democrats could support. they agree with him on trade. you know, this is something that he changed the republican party's position from being a purely free trade party into a into a more protectionist party. that's the democrats position for a long time. there are many things they could work with him on if they wanted to, but they have to get over their tds first. you got to cure the tds before
10:22 pm
you can have bipartisanship, and i don't know if they're capable of it. well, maybe robert f kennedy jr will work on that cure over at hhs. two tds marc thiessen brilliant as always. thank you. a ceasefire in israel and trump's plan for peace in the middle east. we've got it all straight ahead. america built by those who dare to dream. those who push the limits and those who serve at bass pro shops, we stand with those who stand for our freedoms, proudly offering a legendary salute discount every day and recently partnering with the army and air force exchange service, becoming the official outdoor gear provider for our heroes. because it's more than the great outdoors, it's about honoring those who protect it. bass pro shops voted america's best outdoor retailer. consumer cellular is lowering the price for those 50 and up. get two unlimited lines for $30 each. that's just $60 a month, so switch to the carrier

10:28 pm
day so far, this ceasefire has held lebanon's army is currently moving south. the lebanese army will create a buffer along the border, hezbollah will need to retreat north, and israeli forces will withdraw from lebanon in phases over the next 60 days. those involved in the negotiations say. what is crucial now is implementation to make sure that hezbollah does not bolster its forces to strike again. israel has warned civilians not to return to southern cities just yet. still, quite the opposite is playing out with thousands of lebanese people driving south and celebrations breaking out in the streets for the start of this ceasefire, israel says it will reserve the right to attack if it finds that hezbollah has violated this treaty. for now, with a peace plan with hezbollah in effect in the north, the focus will shift back to hamas. from here, we look towards the southern front, where the most important goal is to return all the hostages home safely and quickly. the result of the
10:29 pm
campaign in the north creates additional pressure on hamas. the war drags on in gaza, although u.s. secretary of state antony blinken reiterated a similar message that the ceasefire with hezbollah will put more pressure on hamas to essentially see that the cavalry is no longer on the way. hamas released a statement today saying that it is ready to continue conversations to focus on a deal of its own. a delegation from egypt will be here in israel tomorrow to continue those ceasefire talks, kelly, now let's bring in former arkansas governor and the nominee for u.s. ambassador to israel, mike huckabee. the perfect guest for this governor huckabee. i was thrilled when you got this nomination, the perfect person for the job. but i want to begin with the breaking news, and let's pull up those who have received threats. unfortunately, today, pete hegseth, elise stefanik, you know, several of these individuals as friends have you received any threats? and do you feel safe at this hour? i
10:30 pm
feel safe, you know, i don't know of any threats that have come to me. if they have, i'm unaware of them. but then again, i went duck hunting this morning, so i was kind of out of out of the picture, quite frankly. this is a horrible thing to have. these people haven't even been confirmed yet, and it's just a sign of the times. but i think it does not deter anyone. i've heard many of them say it only emboldens them to be more determined than ever to serve this president, to serve the country, and to do what they were nominated to do. and i think that's what's going to happen, no doubt about it. you know, governor, i hope you got some ducks this morning. my husband is an avid duck hunter as well, but i want to move on to a rather serious topic. and that's the topic of a cease fire in israel. and we know that there has been this israel, hezbollah cease fire. that's israel's northern border politico playbook says this. this is the thinking of the biden administration, the belief inside biden world for months has been that one cease
10:31 pm
fire would pave the way for another rooted in hezbollah and hamas shared relationship with iran, their mutual proxy and patron. do you see a ceasefire with hamas on the horizon? i think they're half right. they certainly are funded by the same source. that's the iranian government. unfortunately, it's the biden administration that empowered iran with money that they used to make it possible. so that hamas, hezbollah and the houthis could all launch attacks, particularly on destroying israel. i just think people have to understand that when hezbollah says we're going to have a cease fire, okay, good. quite frankly, the idf, they need some time to just regroup and reconstitute. they're exhausted from having to fight wars on both the northern and southern fronts. and they've been doing it for over a year, 418 19 days. but let's also never forget that hezbollah started this attack on israel. israel didn't attack them. they attacked israel on
10:32 pm
october the 8th, the day after the massacre outside of gaza. the old reality is that if you start a war with me, you may get to start it, but i choose how we finish it. israel is going to get to choose how they finish it. not iran, not the un, not france, not america. israel will decide how this has to end with that. and that's how it should be. without a doubt, governor, one of the great privileges of my time in the trump administration was when something happened that hadn't happened in 26 years, and that was the first peace deal that israel had with the uae, united arab emirates. there were more that came for total. bahrain came after morocco, sudan, and we felt we were on the cusp of a normalization of relations with saudi arabia, which would have been enormous in isolating iran in the region. do you think during the four years of trump's tenure, during your time, we could see that happen?
10:33 pm
i certainly do. donald trump literally performed miracles in the middle east. he should have gotten a nobel peace prize. he did more than most of the people ever do in order to receive one. but it's not about awards for him. it's about making things happen. he did that, and he did it in the most unconventional way. that's what people don't really appreciate about donald trump. he's not an ideologue. he's a pragmatist. it's not about does it line up to some republican dogma? the question is, does it work? and does it make things better, not worse. governor huckabee, soon to be ambassador huckabee, so thrilled for you and your family. the perfect person for the job. all right, a conservative movie just hit the top of the charts. more on that next. if you know luxury, it's not just award winning, it's rewarding. saatva mattresses supports all types of sleepers.

and the soviet union get in the game, run for office. it's you i'm running for governor and i would like your vote. i've forgotten your name. do his initials help? r.r, honey, roy rogers is here, and he's running for governor. the movie reagan is shooting to the top of the charts. the first full length film about reagan's life came out in theaters over the summer. listen to this. now. sales for blu ray and digital are skyrocketing. reagan beat out spider-man, despicable me, and even lord of the rings. the team that made reagan is thanking trump for the sales. they say his landslide victory is inspiring americans to watch the movie, and the two republicans are similar in a lot of ways. the film's screenwriter said this first and foremost, reagan believed in america and americans. i believe trump feels the same. reagan was. and trump is willing to fight for what they
10:40 pm
believed was right. an actor, robert davi, who played soviet premier leonid brezhnev in the movie, says the film shows how reagan was demonized just like trump. robert davi himself is here right now. robert. so you say that both trump and reagan were similar in the way they were demonized. what do you mean by that? well, not many people will remember, but i was around when reagan was president and prior to that, when he was president of the screen actors guild at the tail end of that and governor of california and the hollywood community, much like today, there was a bit of a differences because it was more balanced back then. you had more conservative, powerfully out front conservatives, but the left continued to demonize reagan. they called him dumb, stupid. the star wars defense that he had that idea, that which was like the iron dome of israel today, they every step
10:41 pm
that reagan did, they called him out of touch. and reagan was red white and blue like donald trump. and i see very similar things that happened. i wrote an article on breitbart the day donald trump announced that he was like ronald reagan, because it was about what is good for america. now, reagan was also a liberal in his bleeding heart liberal days in the 19 early 1940s, and changed to conservative later on when he realized the threat that communism had in america, and it still has today in different forms. we call it the progressive left, which, as sharon stone and alec baldwin refused to understand, they talk about adolescence voters or adolescent. well, the adolescent doesn't understand or grow with the times. and you have, as you said earlier in your segment, more people voted for donald trump. so what is the disconnect? and that's part of the big disconnect. kayleig, is they don't understand the
10:42 pm
where the american voter is. there is an elite status. she talked about flying and not traveling and not this. again, out of touch. reagan was a grassroots populist, as donald trump, of course is. and both have peace through strength. as we see you spoke with mike huckabee earlier, the governor huckabee, about what's happening in israel now with hezbollah, what's happening. hopefully it'll happen over there in ukraine and russia. i have a wife who's from estonia, and the estonians are frightened. they're frightened that they might have to migrate to finland and other places because of the upheaval of joe biden and what happened over there. and i think trump, again, is like reagan because he understands the threats to america. and it's america first, not america last. you know, the film that is perfectly said. yeah. go ahead.
10:43 pm
yeah. the film, if you look at what the critics have said, 98% of the people that watched reagan loved the film. 18 critics. it's got an 18 on rotten, a low rating on on rotten tomatoes, from the critics from the left wing, left wing critics. that shows you the divide right there in terms of reality and how they did this in the media, how they portrayed trump in the media and how they portray reagan very similar. the assassination attempts on both men, the fight that he had. but the difference was you had a partner, reagan had a partner in tip o'neill. well, robert davi, i understand you were in palm beach at the watch party and you were elated at trump's reelection. so that is great news, robert. thank you for that. great analysis. screaming liberals try to cancel thanksgiving. that's next. why should you be

fury screeching at the top of their lungs at lake michigan. yikes. well, it's been over three weeks, and rage rituals don't seem to be working. so the woke mob is canceling thanksgiving. you don't have to go to thanksgiving this year. i know that's painful. for those of you who have family members that you love who have voted for trump, but you do not have to hang out with them. my brother and his fiance uninvited me from their weddin, and now i have the wonderful pleasure of uninviting them from holiday activities because they voted for donald trump. blood of the covenant is thicker than water of the womb, and the reason i say this is because the holidays are right around the corner, and i know a lot of people are having anxiety about being around their crazy maga aunt and uncle and cousins. it is absolutely okay for you to not attend things if it's going to

jeopardize your mental health. she sure sounds like fun, but let's be thankful that not all democrats are in that gravy boat. some seem to be getting a grip urging hysterical liberals to quote, get it together and pass the potatoes, writing off somebody you love over this. it's going to be the president. like, doesn't really serve you like, and it doesn't serve them and it doesn't really serve anybody. it doesn't do anything of value. there are certain flaws that you look past in friends in your life, you know, and other family members. it's not like everybody that voted for kamala harris is a angel. you know? but you rationalize it, right. you look past it. and the washington post is trying to spend the day to get their far left friends out of their post-election funk, telling them thanksgiving is a woke high holiday. this is crazy. listen, writing thanksgiving is our most woke holiday. that's why it's so
10:51 pm
great. it is an all you can eat buffet built on dei wokeness, political correctness and old fashioned neighborliness. long before we even had a name for the first three. it's the rare american celebration not rooted in a particular religion, not a memorial born out of nation building. it's a holiday without flag waving and saluting because that's so bad, one that doesn't stir debates about what can and cannot happen on sacred ground in arlington national cemetery. what a group there at wapo. let's bring in emily compagno, co-host of outnumbered, and a good friend of mine and author of the new bestselling book under his wings. and jimmy failla, host of fox news saturday night. emily, you and i. maybe we should go to one of these howling rituals. no, no, kaylee, you and i have far better things to do. look, there was one hidden gem in that wapo analysis that said thanksgiving is 24 hours
10:52 pm
devoted to simply being grateful and surrounding yourself with family and friends. unfortunately, that gem and that truth was totally buried between all of that nonsense you cited and the rituals we're watching here on the screen, at the end of the day, i think the people that were disinvited were probably because they're not good company around. but the thing that makes me so sad is all of these young people who think so myopically and superficially and can't think beyond this election cycle, is that they are sacrificing that precious, priceless time with their loved ones, with their family. for an instagram or tiktok like jimmy, i want to bring in one of my favorite moments. and that's when this woman howled at the moon in 2016, as trump was being sworn in. let's watch. yeah. donald j. trump is now president of the united states. president. trump, for the moment, steps away. jimmy. yeah. to this day, that was the strangest episode of the rachel maddow show i've ever watched.
10:53 pm
but they've certainly gotten stranger over the years. you know, it's so funny because two things i can tell you about these thanksgiving protests. one is none of these women boycotting can cook, because if you're a woman who can cook, you want everybody to come over and eat your food. you have that spirit of generosity. and yeah, you want the feedback of knowing you made something good. but the other aspect of this that's so funny is the washington post, for what it's worth, trying to get people to embrace thanksgiving is actually setting their readers up for the worst disappointment because thanksgiving is wrapped around two football games where everybody who scores a touchdown in the nfl is doing the trump dance right now. do you know how triggering thanksgiving is going to wind up being for washington post readers who reluctantly lean in? it's going to be great. 100. 100%. emily, your book under his wings. it is number one right now. number one, where can people get it? thank you kayleigh. they can get it on amazon anywhere. books are
