tv   Jesse Watters Primetime  FOX News  November 28, 2024 5:00pm-6:00pm PST

5:00 pm
the fake news media and all of hollywood especially george clooney, taylor swift and beyonce, they'll get shared burden. all of those professors, all the people who kept their audiences completely in the dark about the reality that was trump's dominance in this election. >> they lied to their viewers, they lie to their readers. they lied to their followers and their fans. i think they've been repaid with brutal honesty and results for the other side. thank you both. i can't believe this is even thanksgiving. where did this year ago? it was crazy fast. i want to thank you all for watching this special edition of the show. it wouldn't be possible without you so thank you. hope you had a wonderful holiday. it is america now and forever, jesse watters takes it from here. >> jesse: welcome to jesse watters prime time, tonight. >> i am deeply concerned about
5:01 pm
go biden this november. it is an accidental threat to the country if donald trump wins >> jesse: the biden coup and the democrat collapse. was he right all along? >> i'm not going to go to thanksgiving dinner with my family. never contact me again. i want nothing to do with you. >> jesse: the left needs to get it together for the holidays >> this is the deplorable... i think this is worse actually. for joe biden to make that statement is really a disgrace. >> jesse: hulk hogan takes out the trash. >> what happened on the first thanksgiving? >> they went on a bender and then they ate türkiye.
5:02 pm
>> jesse: it's been nearly a month since the election. both parties have had some time to self reflect. trump nailed the trifecta, winning the white house in both chambers of congress. that means major changes are coming. for democrats they are conducting an autopsy, where did it go wrong? was it kamala's cackle, or was it dei? happy dei thursday by the way. perhaps the biggest mistake was a forced error, biden scoop. i interviewed senator john fetterman after biden's disastrous debate. maybe the machine have listened to him. >> john fetterman joins me now. it's a great honour to have you here. is this a dream of yours to appear on jesse watters prime time? >> it's really my dad's dream as well. he's going to be watching it and of course dad is going to be proud.
5:03 pm
>> we will make dad proud. tell me about joe biden mx 72% of the country doesn't think he is fit to serve. you do. what you know that the rest of the country doesn't? >> absolutely. i think a lot of that hasn't really changed. it went up a little bit but already america has now realized that joe biden is old and he certainly isn't as sharp as he was five or ten years ago. that's a reality. that really doesn't mean much me personally about my supporting the president. i really don't think i've seen anything that makes me want to change that. i would like to remind everybody watching this is that i don't need a job, i don't need anything out of this. this is not, i'm not following him blindly. i do fundamentally believe he's been a great president and i do believe ultimately he can prevail. that's where matt.
5:04 pm
>> jesse: you saw the debate. just like we also the debate and that didn't change her mind about anything? >> i was flying back from israel at that point. when i landed and i started to get some of the texts, and then at that point i realized that i really wanted to get onto social media and defend our president after that. that's what i decided to do. i know you and your viewers know that i had a really rough debate as well. but i really want to remind anybody that the sum -- i'm not the sum total of about debate. >> jesse: you didn't see the entire debate against donald trump? >> i didn't. i saw the the most difficult ones of course. but for me, and i know a lot of the people typically that are watching fox, realized that donald trump may have had a great day and a great debate on that.
5:05 pm
but what i do like to remind people, and some people thought that donald trump may have had some of the kinds of difficulty that perhaps joe biden but he was saying things that were untrue or he was saying things that really i think aren't really consistent with some of the values of the majority of people. but without a doubt joe biden didn't have a great debate. but to me, i think that he is going to be our best. he already beat trump and i think this is our best opportunity to defeat trump again. >> you did have a bad debate but you recovered and you sound a lot better than you used to sound. >> i want in and i was like hello and good night. >> jesse: maybe just as bad as joe biden. >> i knew his boot -- it was good to be rough. >> jesse: you recovered and you are younger and you are capable of making a great recovery as you have. joe biden is not in that
5:06 pm
position. joe biden is not enough position where he can recover. it is only going to get worse. do you still trust his ability to execute the duties of commander in chief? >> i guess i'm not such a thing that there's going to be a benjamin button kind of thing. that's not going to happen. again it really was a bad night. i've spent an entire year with the president. for a bunch of different events all across pennsylvania. he was normal and he was engaged and he was actually very popular and people were eager to have a selfie and do those kinds of things. so i really want to remind everybody that joe biden has done a really good job as president. and i fundamentally am going to remain loyal to that. i thank we have some things to learn from republicans is that when things happen, republicans surround and support and they lean in.
5:07 pm
often democrats if something happens, we might want to panic or we might argue amongst ourselves. when i have that meeting tomorrow, i'm going to be very consistent and i'm going to be very aggressive in defending joe biden. >> jesse: you were going into these meetings with these democrat senators. and a lot of them are seeming to say that this is going to be a landslide but they don't have the courage to come out publicly and say it joe you got to go. do you thank they are cowards? >> without using that word, of what i will say is that anything that i will say that's going to have my name and my face attached to that and i'm not a leaker. i'm not going to say something behind someone's back about this. and i also really would like to remind anybody watching this, it's like if i didn't believe joe biden was our guy, i'm not
5:08 pm
going to be saying some of the things that others have done publicly, but i certainly wouldn't be standing and speaking with you about it tonight or doing other kinds of media as well. i would say that privately. i'm really confused when some people claim to be your friend, but if you really are a real friend you are not going to say that in a very public kind of way with the damaging things. it's not the way i would do it. because... >> jesse: you are a very loyal guy and you have honour. obama is joe biden's best friend. they had their little best friend bracelets. now obama is sending out clooney and axelrod and all the speechwriters to say joe step down. times up. do you think obama is disloyal? >> i do understand. i would like to remind -- i'm a fan of all those guys. remember when obama was a long shot and clinton was supposed to run the table and if they
5:09 pm
weren't run out of their race, they got in and they held through that. than others like st. james carville. it really wasn't about his name in that race, it was much more about ross perot and he's still living off of fish that he caught 30 some years ago on that. it's not really helpful to damage the president. it's not a profile encouraged. that's where we're at. i like to remind everybody that debates really don't mean much. they really don't. i do fundamentally believe we all need to and the conversation, joe biden is going to be our guy and it's going to be rough and it's uncertain but it's good to be very close as well. everybody watching, watch how big the crowd is going to be if trump and butler. he's coming to butler county this weekend and i mentioned back -- that back in 2020. he's very popular in pennsylvania. this was always good to be close that's the way it's going to be
5:10 pm
and nothing has changed in the way -- in 2024. >> when joe biden picked kamala harris as vice president, she was supposed to be the new generation. biden was supposed to be the bridge, hand her the baton. do not think she's qualified to be handed that baton? >> if something happened to joe biden or if joe biden step down, of course i believe she's qualified to do that. i think she's been a great vice president and -- but right now as far as i know, i haven't heard anything that she's full in on joe biden as well and right now that's a powerful team right now. i refused to turn our back on a great president and i know people watching this might disagree that he hasn't been a great president. i do believe he was. i think loyalty is one of the last currencies in this lousy business.
5:11 pm
>> jesse: john fed -- john federman, thank you for joining. tell your dad i said hello. >> can i say, hey, dad, hey, carl federman. it's nice to talk to you, thank you. >> jesse: have a great night. >> jesse: it's only been a week since trump was reelected on the left still needs a drink. the duty is to be the a pitta me up chilled but now jeff bridges is totally grieving men. >> this is part of life. you've got ups and downs. this is how we roll being alive. and i'm thinking so what do you do in times like this? i went through the grieving process and now i'm finding, it be courageous. this is the time, this is calling you to be a courageous person. >> jesse: relax, this is the golden age, how bad can it be? the ladies of the view aren't processing things as well as they did.
5:12 pm
they say its okay to cut your loved ones out of holiday celebrations if they voted trump >> i do feel that this candidate , president-elect trump, is just a different type of candidate. from the things he said and the things he's done and the things he will do, it's more of a moral issue for me. i think when people feel that someone voted not only against their families, but against them and against people that they love to, i think it's okay to take a beat. >> jesse: for everybody else that hasn't gone through the full process and come out on the other end like jeff bridges has, michael moore is offering additional comfort to the left. instead of his regularly scheduled podcast, these released a 30 minute mix tape of some of his favourite show tunes. to help ease the nerves of anxious libs. if you are in the state department, you get a free therapy session on the taxpayers' dime youmak one source told the the free beacon meetings are basically cry sessions over trump's victory.
5:13 pm
summer too far gone to even have to be able to have show tunes help them. >> last night i told my mom and dad that because they voted for someone who wants me dead, that they no longer have the privilege of having their daughter and their granddaughters in their life. i told him never contact me again. i'm never calling you, i want nothing to do with you and take me out of the well. i'm no longer safe with people like you. i'm not going to [bleep] go to things giving dinner with my family and look them in the eye and just play nice anymore. >> jesse: if you really want to put some miles between you and your family over minor political disagreements, "the washington post" has you covered. they published a nifty guide for americans hoping to flee the country because of election day. the post also is providing it's readers with a guide for moving past the grief of defeat.
5:14 pm
one expert recommends taking a few days or a week to grieve,'s screen, be with friends and family and did dance or make art. and if one week isn't long enough there's now a four-year skip forward crews designed for people who want to escape trump's second term. all four years of it. but if that doesn't work and you want a cheaper option you can always pull a hillary, drink a bottle and go for long walks in the woods. clinical psychologist dr. chloe carmichael is here. explained to me the psychological process of wanting to escape the country, either on a cruise for four years or just move out. >> the first stage of grief is denial. it makes sense that just plug your ears and say i'm getting out of here is the first step that they want to do. we have to be prepared because after denial the next step in the process is anger.
5:15 pm
so we have to be ready that they could be really angry. we have to stand our ground because free speech is actually good for mental health. if they want to talk about safe spaces and things, you can just let them know that a real safe space is one where everybody can say what they feel and what they believe and they can still get along and be safe together and know that they can be strong enough to stand that. you can try to talk to them in their own language. >> jesse: i've tried that it doesn't always work but i will try again. what about the people who don't want trump voters at the thanksgiving dinner table? what does that mean psychologically? >> to me it sounds like denial and it sounds like anger. but what we have to do is i think to try to be the bigger person. by that i do not mean to accommodate them. i don't mean absent yourself from thanksgiving or just allow them to say that they are not
5:16 pm
coming and not even reach out. it be the bigger person and say i know it's hard but i would love to see you and i in fact really want to know, i would love to learn why you feel the way that you do. because a lot of them still believe about fine people on both sides and they don't understand that the bloodbath comment was about an automotive, economic industry play out situation. you can come prepared with some clips to show them. a lot of people have their eyes opened when they actually see the clips of what he has actually said. >> jesse: the people, and many of them celebrities, they said they were going to leave the country of trump one and they don't end up leaving. what does that mean? >> they are actors so by definition they are dramatic. it's like i'm going to take my marbles and go home. when they think about it the u.s. is a pretty good place to be and the irony is they have
5:17 pm
the freedom of speech to save those things in -- and to express themselves. it can be tempting to get right in there in the anger phase with these people. a lot of us have been so pent up for so long. this really is an opportunity not to just kowtow and accommodate, but to be willing to listen and you can even do a technique from couples therapy where you reflective back and you say you are upset because he believe ask why and z, to hear how... if they say no at least you tried but you know you were the biggest person you could possibly be. >> jesse: i've been practising listening. been doing a lot of practising and we are going to continue that this things giving. think you so much. more prime time ahead.
5:18 pm

with conservative politics? maybe that's what's going on b1 and there's a certain amount. >> maybe that's why they want us all to be poor health and overweight is because that means we are going to be more liberal. if you make people less healthy, they appear only become more politically liberal. >> jesse: double ewb hall of famer paul kogan's here, what's up? >> it's that time of year. >> jesse: trick-or-treat my man. how do you feel about joe biden calling you garbage? >> you know what's so funny, i was appalled, highly insulted. but every year for halloween when i lived over in bel air a few miles away from clearwater beach, we would open the gates to our house, everybody from the neighbourhood would come to our halloween party. the garbage men would come and then the kids would leave and i'd hang out with the garbage men until two or three in the
