7:22 am
very stupidity they keep provoking taiwan biden keep saying we will defend taiwan and his own staff takes it back this is a very divided government.the majority in parliament once talks with china they had eight years of negotiations with china you can now fly nonstop between taiwan and beijing several times a day trump accepted the policy he got him to come to mar-a lago saw him again in osaka and buenos aires he got a lot of things done that could lead to as many as 2 million new jobs and most of all avoiding nuclear war. biden has been so provocative even though they know there's 2 million taiwan businessman in mainland china. the biden people are stoking or change metaphors they are pushing on the most sensitive nerve the chinese have so two more nights to stay in hawaii overnight with taiwan's
7:23 am
president that the chinese say is a cause of war so i leave it up to see what's going to happen with president trump but i think provoking china needlessly over taiwan is a big mistake if you want big things from china like a peace plan. biden won't even talk about it with them is kind of bizarre how the biden people are provoking china almost every day. >> griff: you are right looking ahead to the next administration i think tariffs are certainly on the way but i want to give you a statement because the defense ministry spokesperson for china says the chinese people's liberation army shoulders or sacred mission of sovereignty territorial integrity and resolutely will defeat all attempts for taiwan independence and thwart all interference by external forces president biden had this to say about the terror threat.
7:24 am
>> china is we set up a hotline between the president and myself i am confident about him and i am not saying but he understands what's at stake. >> griff: that lays out what you're talking about do you think that the trump pipeline hotline whatever it is will increase greatly and how important is it? >> it's extremely important to world peace and there was already a hotline i was in the room in the oval office when his letters would come in president trump would do a reply they had several phone calls but to go over sensitive issues and had many meetings in
7:25 am
person also by the way biden seems to have a contempt for chinese culture you saw president trump had his granddaughter recite the dynasty poem and mar-a lago to show respect for chinese culture and history and he is so powerful he's a tyrant he makes concessions that trump wants to get and the biden approach is just foolish. >> we will see what his reaction is if we see more chinese drills in the taiwan we saw this time last year we may see it again soon but before we run out of time i want to get your reaction to russia's attack on ukraine launching more than 200 missiles and drones escalation you are worried about? >> yes major escalation don't forget who is the backer of pugin and the russian defense complexes china if china could be persuaded to back off
7:26 am
there's some evidence they want to do that we have a possibility of a cease-fire that they put so much pressure on the russians that they have to meet the terms of the cease-fire so that's what is a major war and peace issue is whether or not the chinese will help us with iran and with ukraine with trade agreements being restarted those kinds of things and stop these little pinprick pointless provocations that biden seems compelled to pursue. >> griff: you do a great job of putting it into the big picture of context. thank you for your time. >> this is an era where political violence and harassment is real and we have to do something about it. >> we have come through a polarizing election and i just hope that everyone lowers the temperature.
