that didn't have access to safe drinking water or two i felt like may be out there like me could do something about it. so we started 20 years ago and we have worked 50 countries over the world and help 2 million people get clean drinking water. but also we have responded to multiple disasters, whether it is an florida or another earthquake, earthquake, hurricane. we never thought this was our headquarters. we never thought we would be responding to a disaster right here in our own backyard. with. >> we are blessed to have an opportunity to serve our own community and provide clean water and now provide shelter for people as well, which is a pretty amazing thing that we get to be a part up for our own people. >> anita: that is just amazing. i can imagine you guys said working 50 different countries, and now working in your own backyard. it is hard to imagine, it has been two months since hurricane helene and still without basic necessities of life.

by don't have homes, cars, heating, wi-fi and you said they don't have clean drinking water. how are you able to help these people? give us examples what you are a able to do for people? we started out with water and delivering water to people's homes and we started with water filters if well shut down and drink water right from a ditch in front of their house or creek. and then we started to get into home cleanups. our local football team high school athletes wanted to help because they were out of school for a month. my wife started leaving fees volunteer trips to do home cleanups and help people got out insuinsulation and not only dide water work but also our shelters been spearheading the volunteer efforts and get these tiny homes out behind us. like is how a few days ago she has been spearheading that making sure tiny homes -- they are homely and she's an expert

at that. speed two people are thrilled to get them in amber, and ask you quickly, the clock is ticking and winter is approaching, whatt create from what you guys are trying to do them at? >> you can't imagine just the pressure right now. tobit is so cold. and us being parents and knowing there are families out there make freezing cold in living in abandoned homes. it really, you know, you can't rest at night and lay your head down and think everything is going to be okay. you have to be the boots on the ground and be out they are pushing everyday to make this happen. that is something i'm very passionate about. i can imagine people not having basic necessities. not going to quit. able to keep going and working as hard as we can to make sure as many people get into homes. these tiny homes to campers or whatever we can do to keep people warm.
