that harder than he thanks theyi really do. >> in short you are right. he is talking about sending many of the employees who work behind a desk in that building i think they're more than 7000 of them but he wants them to go out across the country and hunt down criminals and murderers and things like that. he really intends to shrink the size of government. i am sure a lot of people that work for the government don't like that, right? i'm sure they don't american support that type of reform. this is what trump campaigned on. this is what he says he's going to do. i think the danger for him is more on this side of not being able to get it done then a backlash of american seeing him got this department it is very difficult to make these changes to bureaucracies. even when you have political appointees that are loyal to you it on your side. it's an entire possibility we might see more of the same and then republicans will be angrier at trump than democrats but let's just wait and see.

you tell us how illegal immigration has affected your community there? >> california's always on the edge we have the highest homeless population. we have the biggest problems of any state it is all self-inflicted wounds because of this ultraliberal policy. we are already at the point where hospitals are full to capacity. our social services are full to capacity and now you add on for sseveral hundred thousand people coming across the border that are in our communities and makes it very difficult for the schools it makes it difficult for the hospitals. you try to go to the hospital for eight hurt thumb or a sinus infection you will wait 10 hours. it really does not have to be this way california is determined to put their citizens last i'm put but people come fm other countries first we think that it's a big problem. by the way not everybody in california is that liberal it's only the coastal areas. most of california still believes the way the rest of the country believes.

joins us now live from new york city with the latest. >> jurors will soon and deliberate on the state of marine veteran daniel penny. at first you say those closing arguments of both the prosecution and defense summarizing their sides for jurors. witnesses say shortly after boarded the train and may of last year he was hurling those threats. prosecutors argued while penny may have had good intentions when placing neely in the chokehold, they say it penny went too far and healthy restraint for several minutes even after neely was no longer a threat. prosecutors are formerly relied on the testimony from the medical examiner doctor cynthia harris and penny's former martial arts instructor to further their case the chokehold is indeed what killed nearly penny should have known better with this military training. doctor harris testified during the trial there was unanimous consensus among her team the chokehold killed neely part even though she made her

determination before receiving toxicology results, it would not have changed her mind. the defense argues that penny was acting to protect other writers and had no time to de-escalate the situation. they also claim penny is a non- lethal restraint on neely. pointing to testimony from their hired expert witness at eight pathologist who testified and maintained there was no chokehold death. he's had the combined effects of neely's a blood condition, synthetic marijuana use, six schizophrenia and exertion during the struggle all killed neely the marine veteran did not testify in his own defense. penny's defense team says 25 minute taped interview played for jurors of penny is enough the video shows a penny waived his miranda right to answer detectives questions. even we did not note neely had died. penny faces up to 15 years in prison if convicted on the most serious charge in this case. jonathan: cb cotton in new york
