of italy, giorgia meloni. musk popped into that meeting. musk and maloney have a thing. trump called the italian a real live wire. he says they all got along great and they hope to straighten out the world in a little bit. back in the united states the democrats are admitting, quote, it feels like trump is president already. they feel like biden has, quote, effectively disappeared from the radar, and in conversations they don't even mention president biden. it's kind of sad. one democrat says biden is one of the lamest of lame ducks we've ever seen. and they're ready to move on. democrats in washington just want to get him and the people around him out the door. trump's practically sleeping in the white house and walking around the rose garden. biden doesn't seem to care. democrats are embarrassed. >> history is going to be a harsh judge. this is the culmination of what's really a public humiliation for the party that their leader is really not capable of being a public figure

and now everyone is catering to the dictator. the transition a mass success. how do you think they're grappling with this, congresswoman? >> you know, it's interesting. the democrats don't want to accept responsibility for the fact that they might have ticked off biden being that they did, you know, pretty much just cancel his second chance at the presidency by replacing him with kamala harris. and so it's no surprise to me that he's not doing anything. but remember, and, jesse, i think i was on your show talking about this exact same thing, but biden's been checked out for a while, hence why we wanted to hear the original transcripts in his interviews about the presidential record. so, you know, to me in my opinion i met with biden. he was down here in may district. about you it seems like he knows he's retiring and he doesn't really care what happens after this -- but it seems -- i think he's checked out, too. >> jesse: when you met with biden did you know then it was clear that he just didn't have his act together? >> you know, to be honest with you, jesse, it seemed like he knew that he was on his way out. i think at that point in time they were looking at the internal polling seeing that

fox is alert. law enforcement arrested 26-year-old luge man, a prime -- luge luge man, a prime -- league league man -- luigi mangione. we have more. >> reporter: jesse, good evening. a couple hours ago 26-year-old suspect luigi mangione appeared here in blare county criminal courthouse where he was arraigned on five criminal charges related to fake i.d.s and for having an illegal ghost gun. mangione will have a preliminary court hearing on december 23rd here in pennsylvania, but until then he will be held in a jail cell. now, he's then expected to be extradited to new york city where elbow tensionally then expected to face charges for murdering the universal

health-care ceo brian thompson. that could take up to 45 days. at about 9:15 this morning, police say mangione was eating at a table in the back of a local altoona mcdonald's. he was wearing a blue medical mask and beanie while working on a silver laptop when a mcdonald's customer notified a worker to call police reporting that mangione looked like the thompson murder suspect. a rookie altoona police officer responded and when he asked mangione if he had been to new york city recently he got quiet and started to shake. >> when officers arrived, they made contact with the male who had a face mask on. that male was asked to remove his face mask and officers immediately recognized him as the suspect in the new york city shooting. he then provided a fake identification card out of new jersey. >> reporter: now, that new jersey fake i i.d. was the same

one used to check into a hostel in manhattan. he had multiple fake i.d.s on him and was carrying a real u.s. passport. he had $10,000 cash as well as $2,000 in foreign currency inside a bag he was carrying a black 3d-printed pistol and a 3d-printed silencer. as for the motive, well, the 26-year-old mangione is an ivy league grad from pen. he had a bachelor and a master's degree in computer science and information. and, you know, jesse, they also found a three-page handwritten note. the police say that it had essentially thoughts and motives and manifestations of having ill will towards corporate america. jesse. >> jesse: brian, thanks a lot. so who really is luigi mangione? host of takedown with chris chrs hanson. this is a guy from a privileged back ground?
