mangione, the prime suspect in the murder of brian thompson. we are getting mug shot of the suspected killer on your screen. he managed to evade a manhunt for nearly a week. until a mcdonald's worker in pennsylvania recognized his face and called the police. it is being charged with thompson's murder and various other gun crime, but it is unclear when he will be extradited back to new york. this is "outnumbered." i am emily, here with my cohost, kayleigh mcenany and marie harf, fox news contributor. kaylee mcghee white, journalism fellow for the steamboat institute and paul moro. fox news contributor, attorney, and retired nypd inspector. let's go live to brian, who is

in altoona, pennsylvania, where the suspect was arrested, with the very latest. >> since luigi mangione was arraigned last night, he has been sitting in a cell, and the huntington state correctional facility. now we are getting more he will have an extradition hearing here in blair county at the courthouse at 1:30 p.m. this is when will decide whether or not -- this is when he will decide whether or not he will waive his right to extradition. if you despise the fight this, it could take up to 45 days. if he doesn't, he good be extradited even today. that will be up to the district attorney. all of this as we are getting a better look at the inside of this mcdonald's and what transpired here yesterday morning.

we are seeing photos of him eating a hash brown inside in the back of the mcdonald's. you can see him with his medical mask on. he was having a coffee with a friend when he walked in. he said that looks like the guy from new york. he recognized his jacket and backpack. the employees thought the same thing. >> the one worker that thought it was him, she said between his eyes and eyebrows, i took his order, it was like, she got in her mind, this is the guy from new york. >> police they they spotted him and alerted an employee. tyler fry arrived at this mcdonald's. when the officers asked him if he had been to new york

recently, he started to shake and was nervous. >> he was wearing a blue medical mask. as soon as he pulled it down, we recognized him immediately, just from what we saw in the media come with photos, videos, we didn't think twice about it. we knew that was the guy. he was very cooperative with us. rico he gave police this fake i.d. which is the same new jersey fake i.d. used by the killer of united health care ceo brian thompson, who was killed last week. as we wrap this up, the extradition hearing is at 1:30 p.m. today here in blair county, pennsylvania. he will decide whether or not he is going to fight his extradition. if he doesn't, he could be moved to new york city to fight

charges. one last thing, police hearsay the mcdonald's, as well as officer fry and the police department had received threats from the public ever since the story became public. >> now to join us, alexis mcadams here with his potential motive. >> we are sifting through stuff online and that is what investigators are looking at two. he is an ivy league graduate with a background in engineering. he worked in tech. they believe he could have made the murder weapon with a 3d printer. he comes from a prominent family in maryland, graduating valedictorian 2016 before he went to the ivy league school yuniversity of pennsylvania.

he got a bachelor's and moved to hawaii. he came to new york with a plan. he waited outside for the ceo, comes up behind him and open fire. he shot him at least two times, including once in the chest and took off on foot. the motive can possibly be linked to the health care industry. in a manifesto in his backpack, he said this. i was not working with anyone. i apologize for strike or traumas, but it had to be done. these parasites simply had it coming. >> officers recovered a handwritten document that speaks to his motivation and mind-set. >> we have done an analysis. there are written documents, electronic devices in the process of being downloaded.

>> how did they catch him? good old-fashioned police work. they made the break in pennsylvania, got to think that mcdonald's worker who called it in. >> the charges have just dropped. let us know what they are and talk to us about the potential -- that manifesto, he said parasites plural. were others in danger? >> good question but something the police are trying to work out. new york state does not have the death penalty, so that is off the table. murder two is serious. , so nobody should read anything into the fact that it is not murder one. murder two is a top charge for a thing like this.

as far as whether others should be worried, the question comes down to does he have accomplices and those are the thing police are looking at. no, i worked alone. he locked down his phone and his devices. the cobs are going to have a hard time getting in. it does feel like he is trying to cover his tracks. he did a lot of planning. he knew the victim was going to be at that location. you can bet there is a team scraping his backgrounds and movements to see if anybody helped him or funded this and anyone else we have to worry about. >> it is interesting his dichotomy and all of those blunders he made as we discussed prior to his identification. either he was an amateur or he wanted to be caught because of

how blatant a lot of his mistakes were. >> it is one of those two things. he wanted to be caught in my opinion. look at the picture of him. he is smiling with a camera in view days before he murdered someone. he clearly didn't care or was oblivious that his identity was being captured. he goes to starbucks, wait to leave our track there and then he goes to altoona, penns pennsylvania, so you don't get very far when you fully and when you are there, you think, let's go get a hash brown at mcdonald's and sit in public view with a mask in your face and a gun in your pocket. he either wanted to be caught. his manifesto says he doesn't want to cause trouble but it had to be done. you did cause trauma. there is a dad without his --

dominic son and a wife without her husband for christmas. >> it was a murderer, why is there support? >> i am going to answer your question about my dad is from altoona. he grew up there. it is a close-knit community. it is amazing the employee and this rookie cop were able to identify the suspect and to bring him in. i don't think he is a criminal mastermind. i think he is a bit of an amateur, but to your question, it is horrifying people are celebrating it, people are -- left, right, center, i don't know that it falls in any place in the political system. there are problems in our health care system but the fact people are taking it to that level is gross. i don't like seeing it on

he deserve compassion and he was met with violence. jordan was arrested 42 times. there was a black civilian who helped him. a black woman called him a hero, thanked him, spoke to fox news. it was self-defense. i believe he saved a lot of people that day, people who have gotten hurt. these are facts. why does the naacp leave them out. >> you are expecting back to matter. number one, the majority of people on the train car that he stepped on were people of color. he is the hardest target. he is a young, big guy, a marine, in shape. the easiest thing would have been to stare at his phone and let it happen. he was moving towards a mother and child. what if he didn't act and something happened.

democrats, many will agree with deporting criminals. if you have committed a crime, you should not be in the country. democrats will say if you go after farmworkers in california and texas and across the southwest, after workers who do jobs americans won't do, the economic price we pay will be extraordinary, particularly with food and donald trump does not seem to have gotten that message. if he deport farmworkers, your food will cost more. >> democrats will have an opportunity, day one priority and ask for funding, will chuck schumer and democrats join him? >> i am curious what you think the radical proposal bar. he said criminals first, those who have been found by the courts to be eligible for deportation second and they will get to everyone else later and that is the strategy of the administration use.
