bullet points on drone safety and rules so people continue to see bright floating flights to the sky on a nearly nightly basis. this is across the entire northeast region as far as california leaving people frustrated becoming sleuths of their own. this group called new jersey mystery drones has nearly 60000 members. people post photos and video sightings and speculate what they see. >> they fly the slope base and right lanes with green and red. i look in the sky and it would say planes in the sky like like aware and i don't see planes when the coming past property. >> officials said the agency received about 5000 tips since the first serious siding happened last month here in jersey. less than 100 were deemed

credible for further investigation. >> that is a lot of tips. thank you very much. it is an in-depth look at mysterious drone sightings. what can you tell us? >> will have a lot to tell you but we can do in and through some things. here's the united states and these are places where drones are spotted. when you look at florida, california and dmv, a lot of military bases. that's where majority of the bases are in the new. and what does it have in common? high concentration of people and things that emit frequencies so that is one of the first things look at. they are being spotted in places that could be sensitive. we look here in the northeast and the places specifically that these have been spotted. our snow military base. trump national golf course and bc naval weapons station.

what we worry is when we have kirby come out and mayorkas who have never lied about anything when they say we don't know what these are, it discredits the safest best theory right now which is this is u.s. testing our capabilities and defense mechanisms so they go against each other and that leaves us wondering whether the government doesn't know or they are not telling us the truth and the videos are not very good. the only reason, to say this is i saw it on twitter, or ask, i've seen it on the other experts this idea that these are nefarious in nature, why are they using navigational like that might time? really great points. this is a second picture in this is the quality we are getting so it's hard to make much of it.

we move onto characteristics all through the reports. this is the supposed characteristics of the majority of these drones. six to 10-foot in diameter which is pretty large, as large as an suv and copter drones are pretty small flying above faa 400-foot height regulation but low and slow so radars don't pick them up and they are so small as 6-foot diameter if a writer pick up, i would register as a bird and when alarm anything. one reports as they don't give off heat which, they are not sure what you can draw from the other than what type of payload, camera, weapon, delivering a package, what's in it? we have colorful blinken lights which makes this question, if it's spine, why would give itself away? i will give my opinion, it's a little bit of all of the above.

drones are not just the warfare, they are the way of the future. how we receive and see things and to safety on job sites. drones are used in so many facets and industries today and ai technology will only expedite that so this is the precipice of the technology we've come to in this last decade and i think these sightings are indicative of of all, some are airplanes and some are u.s. or commercial drones. there was a chinese citizen using a drone over military b base. there have been multiple military bases here and abroad who reported this and felt like they are getting there airspace invaded, all of these things are happening. we're just looking more now the 5000 tips for bogus? no. were they able to trace it to a home that isn't scary or needs clinician? maybe. i don't trust the fbi either. >> at the don't know, that's terrifying if they do know, the
