that happened -- during that game was with daniel penny because i think daniel penny and donald trump both fought a system that -- and a woke mind virus as elon musk likes to call it and i think that photo right there is very powerful two people who fought the justice system fought -- liberal ideology, and an effort to take them down and kale out ahead i think that is very symbolic of this new page that we're turning. and then a page we're turning -- is with eric adams right here in new york city who went from being prosanctuary city proillegal immigrants welcoming them now having a change of thought on that. >> yeah. he's apparently looking to attend trump inauguration after successful sit-down with tom holeman joined us earlier on the show he said he and adams are on same page about illegal

trapped they know smart phones aren't good for kids but they want their child to stay in touch with them. they want their kids to have friends to be able to talk or twex their friends and frankly they feel like smart phones are inevitable and a what parents don't realize there's better options and alternatives you have to find other parents talk to parents in your school and neighborhood to say hey none of us want this for our kids and let's choose alternativings instead. i'm not saying it is easy but it is a best choice for kids and long-term well being and so parents we can do this if we work together. >> that's good advice. >> i knew you would love it from the ethics segment made for rachel campos-duffy. will: i think hardest thing because i have two boys in this age range and it's -- you know, you can get one of the types of phones so they can text. the problem is they don't communicate by text text is already archaic they use snapchat so you have to have that app as a communication tool. it is just a hard thing to

behind -- all of the things swirling around jesus in this time period. >> that's right. one of the things that's different about jesus crown of thorns and the way this hoe is written, again, it all starts with the writing is that it's not just your typical nativity player passion play. but it's actually trying to look at the politics in the background and the setting of this story. so it's not just very good acting and very good writing. but they brought in a number of scholars from different faith traditions and experts archaeologist and historians who are able to contribute to the back story kind of there's a lot of popular back stories being written about popular stories, you know, in the "star wars" and a lot of popular other movies now. and what we're able to do is write these back stories in to the telling of the story of jesus. and this i think really gives you a better understanding of what's going on in these

biblical narratives. >> would you put a little -- few specific historic specifics on that. there's a focus on king herod there's going to be focus on the inner play with roman empire at the time. what historical context do we uniquely get in this ?oir >> we have catholic, archaeologists they for instance can go in and look at the writings of the story and a lot of times with the bible doesn't give us a lot of the story. they can come in and tell us about that -- that dynamic between let's say the high priest and ponchious pilot do we know about the power play and trying to win up each other and who is really in charge and let's say for instance, judassist what would

so that's the food industry trying to defend itself. against the fact that rfk jr. and so many in the make america healthy again movement needs are saying this ultra processed foods are killing americans making them unhealthy, and pushing and propelling chronic disease in america. >> well, rachel you have to remember this is a much bigger topic than just combating big food industry. what we're talking about is harmful consumerism and marketing to the population of items that may be harmful we saw this with big tobacco in the 1960s and 70s, and we still see alcohol being advertised pharmaceuticals being advertised these all have addiction potentials and they really feed on our natural dopamine pathways which is our reward centers in the brain. so the big question is, you know, what are we doing here? if the product if it is harming

the actual consumer, is the pitch is it even working for the consumer or is this purely profit driven because harsh reality is people profit off of addiction one question there's a lawsuit going on right now out of philadelphia or out of pennsylvania where there's someone who is a teenager has that nonalcoholic fatty liver disease, and they're now saying that the big food industry because of their marketing and of these addictive substances led to this while that may be true, i think marketing very aggressive especially to younger populations we see with social media we know there are consequences when it comes to marketing campaigns but i also have the question where are the parents in all of this? we also as individuals have to be holding ourselves accountable for some of this as well. yes there are aggressive and harmful marketing campaign there's disgusting chemicals in our food supply especially that's what's accessible to lower income populations. but also we have to think of as the individual what are we choosing to do? rachel: yeah i think the problem is you guys that our government

truth and i think the group of 88 professors at duke university and others they deserve eternal shame. and i have not heard an apology. from the types who perpetuated this lie immediately championed her and did not question his -- rachel: it was completely political one thing that's interesting that popped up on social media in old clips of steven miller, who was a duke student at the time, defending these people. and you realized -- 18, 18 years ago something like that. rachel: amazing clips but shows the kind of courage by the way the courage it took many that environment and being a duke student at the time to have done that. it is quite notable, but i think i love that donald trump highlighted it. and i think it is something he can relate to and just in general the justice system being politicized destroying lives young men. men in general, and particular in these kinds of cases is something that is -- that is important to the highlight. >> where do you go to get your
