10:01 pm
first time everybody was fighting me in this term, everybody wants to be my friend. people want to get along with me this time. >> the herd mentality is here. >> donald trump is smarter than me. you and all critics. >> but you really did a hell of a job. i really mean it. we've run we've run a campaign and basically scandal free. it's hard to do in american politics these days. >> not so fast. gavin. kamala isn't going anywhere. >> our spirit is not defeated. we are not defeated. >> now, can we stop calling them drones? they're obviously ufos. the aliens are here, and they're obviously superior to us in many, many ways. >> america has drone mania. >> the government knows what is happening, and for some reason, they want to keep people in suspense. >> plus, we wish you a merry christmas and a happy new year.
10:02 pm
>> the president was in the house for the army-navy game this weekend, and we're not talking about biden. or the. >> fact of the free. and the. home of. 125th contest between army and navy. >> our producers just found out biden never attended an army-navy game as president. it's kind of weird, right? maybe he was afraid of the boo birds. anyway. 47 brought the whole crew. jd, elon, vivek, tulsi, kash and hegseth. oh, and pete brought his plus one. will cain, his best friend. pete hasn't even been confirmed yet. he's already recruiting. he had a push up contest with vivek's son. >> okay, here we go. ready? get down! get down! come on. get down! push up! right here.
10:03 pm
ready? push up. buddy. here we go. let's see you do a push up. >> there was a special guest at the game, daniel penny, a free man. everybody in that shot knows what it's like to be wrongfully accused. remember, democrats said vance had sex with a couch. even democrats wanted to watch the game with trump. but the suite was locked. so democrat governor wes moore had to wait in the hall to shake 40 seven's hand. got his picture with the dictator, and now he's happy. and if they couldn't make it to the game, they just flew down to mar-a-lago. the ceo of the biggest venture capital firm in the world for tech, softbank is making a big bet on america. >> my confidence level to the economy of the united states has tremendously increased with his victory. so because of that, i'm i'm now excited to
10:04 pm
commit this $100 billion and 100,000 jobs into the united states. >> not so fast, son. they call it the art of the deal. >> i'm going to ask him right now. would you make it $200 billion? i'd say he can actually, believe it or not. he can actually afford to do that. >> would you do that? >> i will try to make it happen. >> that's good. all right, 200. >> he'll make it 200 billion investment. >> he is a great negotiator. >> investors see softbank come in like this and they want to get in too. it's like when pelosi buys a stock you know it's going up. the ceo of tiktok also stopped by mar-a-lago today. and over the weekend apple ceo tim cook popped in for dinner. >> how was your meeting with apple ceo tim cook? >> i did have a dinner with tim cook. i had dinner with sort of almost all of them, and the
10:05 pm
rest are coming. and this is one of the big differences, i think, between we were talking about it before. one of the big differences between the first term and the first term, everybody was fighting me in this term. everybody wants to be my friend. i don't know. my personality changed or something. >> mark zuckerberg made the pilgrimage just a few weeks back, and sources say trump had him stand up with his hand to his heart, while the january 6th choir sung the national anthem. remember, facebook banned trump after jan six. and now trump sneaks in the j six choir. so zuckerberg has to stand. power move. bezos is coming to dinner this week with his wife, lauren sanchez. and all of these ceos are giving trump a million each for his inaugural. the winter white house has been getting flooded with calls from c-suite executives. >> i've had the smartest people on wall street call me. they said, where'd you get that idea? and it doesn't seem that complicated, right? but it's
10:06 pm
nobody. it's like the paperclip. nobody ever thought of it. one guy thought of it. everybody looked at it. they said, wow, that was a good idea. why didn't i think of it? >> all the action takes place after dark. trump's a well-known night owl and revs up when the sun goes down. he's announcing nominations, hosting dinners, making calls after midnight. well, biden's been asleep since seven. world leaders have been burning up the phones for weeks, trying to get tickets for the inaugural balls. >> which other world leaders have you invited to the inauguration? >> the world leaders are calling me, and some are they really would like to meet. no, i mean, literally, they're they're calling me and i'll be seeing some of them. i think it's rude not to. i mean, it's hard to say. i'm not going to see you. and i've spoken to way over 100 where they called to congratulate on the not only the election, but the size of the election, the extent of the victory. and they were great. i
10:07 pm
mean, i spoke to over 100 countries. you wouldn't believe how many countries there are. and i'm trying the best i can to get back to everybody. >> but if you're one of the countries that hasn't called to congratulate trump yet, don't think he doesn't notice trump slugging diet cokes, blasting pavarotti, sitting around the table, holding pitch meetings with ceos and trade talks with prime ministers. he just spoke to netanyahu and has a warning for the whole middle east. >> listen, we had a very good talk. we discussed what is going to happen. and i'll be very available on january 20th. and we'll see. i as you know, i gave warning that if these hostages aren't back home by that date, all hell is going to break out. >> trump's dangling carrots and sticks to friends and foes. tariffs, airstrikes, investment deals, lawsuits. while the man technically still president is
10:08 pm
sabotaging him. >> we had we ordered an additional 200 miles of wall. it's very expensive, and now it's about double the price of what it would have been six years ago. and the administration is trying to sell it for $0.05 on the dollar, knowing that we're getting ready to put it up. and what they're doing is really an act. it's almost it's almost a criminal act. they know we're going to use it. and if we don't have it, we're going to have to rebuild it. and it'll cost double what it cost years ago. and that's hundreds of millions of dollars. and that's really that has nothing to do with a smooth transition. transition that has to do with people really trying to stop our nation. >> it's not just joe biden slowing things down. republican senators still doing a lot of posturing over trump's cabinet nominees. the president elect says it's time to stop the shenanigans. >> senators who oppose your
10:09 pm
nominees or cabinet nominees, should they be primaried? >> if they are unreasonable? i'll give you a different answer, an answer that you'll be shocked to hear if they're unreasonable, if they're opposing somebody for political reasons or stupid reasons, i would say has nothing to do with me. i would say they probably would be primaried, but if they're reasonable, fair, and really disagree with something or somebody, i could see that happening. >> trump sticking to his people, but he's telling his nominees they'll have less money and less headcount. so he says he expects them to do more with less. people close to him say he's following his instincts and isn't going to second guess himself. when republican politicians beg him to be more cautious. the typical people are lobbying him to go easy on tariffs and are angling for their own little carve outs. but trump has a strategy, and insiders say he's sticking to his guns. mitt romney admits the days of the republican establishment are over. get on the train or get
10:10 pm
tied to the tracks. >> donald trump won. he won overwhelmingly. he said what he was going to do, and that's what he's doing. you can't complain about someone who does what he said he was going to do. maga is the republican party and donald trump is the republican party. >> today, donald trump's popularity is at a seven year high. he knows it, and so does everyone else. this is the difference between a shocking victory in 2016 and a commanding victory in 2024. still, some democrats are boycotting the inauguration. one hispanic congresswoman says she doesn't feel safe coming, with all the trump supporters pouring in from the ceremony. so they let millions of into the country. but she doesn't feel safe when a few american citizens come to d.c. and this just in new york, judge juan merchan is refusing to dismiss trump's hush money conviction, even after the supreme court ruled on presidential immunity. other democrats are saying, just get over it. trump
10:11 pm
outsmarted us, and the country's behind him. >> donald trump is not an idiot. donald trump, let me just be very clear. donald trump is smarter than me, you and all critics. you know why we know this dude is a phenomenon. he is the most powerful human on earth and in our lifetime. and we're still saying, well, how was this guy? do we look like idiots to ordinary people? >> because he is totally right. >> make america great again wasn't just a slogan, it was always the mission. valuetainment founder patrick bet-david joins me now. how are you doing? >> i'm doing good. how are you doing? >> i'm doing really good. now you know more about this than most people. and i think you've had a couple dinners down there when all these ceos go down to the patio and have dinner with donald trump, is it lobbying him? is it kissing the ring? what's swirling around down there?
10:12 pm
>> it's called you don't have a choice. what are you going to do? you talked you talked all these negative things about him. and then all of a sudden, you see, he's put on the greatest team ever, which here's the biggest power, by the way, just when you think about it, i wrote three things down as i'm preparing for this. i said, what happens in life when you're handsome, you're rich and you're famous? okay, so think about this. when you're handsome, they can't fool you with pretty girls and all this stuff because you've been around pretty woman your entire life. donald trump. when you're rich, what are they going to do with you? hey, we're going to give you money. we're going to do this. we're going to do that. you come to my place. i've been around the block. i've lived the life of rich and famous. you can't buy me in any way. and then when you're famous, you're not enamored by anybody you meet. like, think about it. the average person watching this right now, if all of a sudden elon musk walked into their house, oh my god, elon is here. if all of a sudden you know sylvester stallone, oh my god, rocky's in the house. if sly walks into mar-a-lago to trump, it's a friend. if elon walks into mar-a-lago, it's a friend.
10:13 pm
so now trump has access to all these people and he puts it together. everybody wants access to trump and his leadership team. everybody. the best brains, the best debaters, the best brass. i don't want to finish it. we're on cable here. you understand what i'm saying? they have a very attractive team and everyone wants to be around. >> so you can't honey trap them. you can't bribe them. and he's not going to get star struck. so he's kind of an invincible politician. and if he's going to do this for the people, this country is going to be in great shape. you heard van jones pbd. now, no one's ever admitted this in the media. we've done this for years. no one in the media has ever said donald trump is smarter than we are. he's outgunned us. he's run circles around us. he's gotten the people with him. that means something that someone has finally gotten up and just in a humble way, said the truth. >> yeah. i mean, listen, you know, when you're bringing up van jones, good for him for being able to say something like that. i got to give credit
10:14 pm
to the man that's. he's like atlas carrying the world. one man is keeping cnn in business, scott jennings. i'm surprised he's not at fox yet. everybody. oh he's phenomenal. people are calling me telling me, hey, you know, what do you think about him coming to value team? and i said, the guy is doing a great job. but here's the part. what is the argument? you lost all seven states. i mean, we were supposed rumor. oh, he may lose iowa and then you lose seven states. stephen a smith yesterday getting up there saying you lied to us about january 6th. how many more times do we need to sit there and watch all of these critics that were supposed to not like them being right? people are sick of it. bill maher is sitting there saying how many more times? this is a very difficult time to be a democrat. this is a very difficult time to say, oh my god, i bet he's going to pardon this person and pardon that person. every one of the clips of what rachel maddow, of what schiff, of what all these people said in 2020 now are becoming more highlight reels over and over again. today, an article is spreading on
10:15 pm
twitter, a chart i posted on twitter that shows who are the top five presidents that have pardoned the most people ever. ready? wilson, truman, obama, carter and biden. the top five. every single criticism they give to policies that's about pro-family pro security, pro protection of the border. pro go build your own business as big as you want to do it. pro having kids. pro choosing to do something big with your life. all of those arguments are making a comeback in ways we've never seen before. that's converting democrats like elon musk, that's converting people like joe rogan, that's converting people like tulsi, like bobby, like a bunch of other people. this is going to be a very interesting potential for, i believe, a 12 year run, 12 year run that newt gingrich predicted that, too. >> he said, 12 years on this show, why in this block about a couple weeks ago, i like i like these predictions. i can get in on that value. entertainment.
10:16 pm
>> the reason for this, the no. >> go ahead. >> i was going to say the reason why pre they were worried about trump first today they're worried about musk first and they're worried about jd vance first. by the way remember only the paranoid survive. watch the media and other people trying to pin these guys against each other. watch that very closely the next four years so we don't fall for it. they're going to pin elon against trump, against jd, against vivek, against all these guys. as long as they're aware of that, this is going to be a nice 12 year run. >> that's going to be fun to watch. it's also going to be fun to watch. rubio, desantis and jd vance run for this nomination while trump is president. that's going to be great because they're going to take up a lot of attention. and trump's going to be he's going to get his hands involved. it's going to be fun to watch. >> it is valuetainment pbd good to see you. >> merry christmas. happy new year. >> thank you to you. >> let's bring in rnc co-chair lara trump. and your name came
10:17 pm
up today. let's listen. >> do you expect ron desantis to appoint lara trump to senator marco rubio seat? >> no, i don't i probably don't, but i don't know. ron's doing a good job. that's his choice. not nothing to do with me. lara is unbelievable. i mean, she was incredible. the job she did at the rnc as chairman, along with michael whatley, the combination. but i could just speak for lara. it's she is so highly respected by women. i mean, even her workout routines are through the roof. >> and i've seen the workout routines on instagram. i'm not i'm not getting involved. let's just put it that way. it looks too hard for me. but are you intrigued with being in the senate? >> yeah, i think he told everybody that i can lift 150 pounds, which i guess it depends what kind of workout it is. but yeah, that is true as
10:18 pm
well. yes, of course i. first of all, jesse, i'm totally honored by everything my father in law said. today was incredibly nice to say about me, and i had a great team at the rnc to work alongside me. we are very proud of all that we did. and of course, this election. but certainly the fact that my name has been mentioned among many other very qualified, very highly regarded people as a potential fit for this senate seat that will be vacant by marco rubio when he's confirmed as our next secretary of state. yes, it's very intriguing and i'm seriously considering it. i have not been asked yet by ron desantis, but as you heard from donald trump, there it is up to him. ultimately. >> it is so a lot going on down there in palm beach. you had the softbank president promise 100 billion? actually, no, wait, he might have doubled it to 200 billion after your father in law gave him a little elbow in front of the world media. what's your what's your understanding of the moves being made today?
10:19 pm
>> well, it's as though donald trump is the de facto president, like he's the president right now, even though he's not sworn in. nobody even remembers jesse most of the time, that joe biden is technically still the president of the united states. and i think this is what not just americans have been yearning for, but the world has been yearning for, along with that $100 billion pledge of investment here in america. it's somewhere in the neighborhood of 100,000 plus jobs for americans that are coming in, whether it's that whether it's donald trump saying the hostages need to be returned or there will be hell to pay all the major world leaders coming to the table, coming to mar-a-lago, you know, greeting him wherever he goes with, you know, the relevance that and that america deserves. now, finally, it's really incredible to see. and daddy's back. daddy's home. that's what we feel. and he's not even in the house, jesse. he's still out in the driveway getting out of his car. but everybody knows what that means. and they are
10:20 pm
at attention right now. >> everybody knows what that means. especially me. been on the receiving end of some of that. not as good of a boy as i look on tv. lara, great to see you. merry christmas, happy new year and all that great stuff to your family. >> thank you. >> well kamala is not going away. and here's johnny. >> santa knows when you're sleeping and he knows when you're awake. what's that about watching me sleep? >> it's a little creepy. >> you believe you were sent by god? yes. >> repent. come and be baptized in the river jordan. >> i speak in the name of the one true god. >> this holiday season, get 50%

10:26 pm
>> i'm joined today by leaders of character and conscience. excuse me, have a little bit of a cold. >> biden might be under the weather, but the rest of his party is still sick to their stomach over the big guy flipping him the bird. >> joe biden pardoned his son, hunter biden. i got to hand it to joe, man. you know, he don't move as fast as he used to. he don't talk as fast as he used to, you know? but that middle finger still works. >> boy, with trump coming in and the fractured democratic party searching for meaning, some liberals are looking for new jobs. buttigieg was caught role playing on a united flight. he told the stewardess to stand down. mayor pete wants to hand out peanuts and supreme court justice ketanji brown jackson, who doesn't know what a woman is, made her broadway debut. show me the meaning of
10:27 pm
being lonely. >> is this the feeling i need to walk with? tell me why i can't be there when you. are. there's something missing in my heart. >> sorry. did you all date romeo? >> yeah. >> oh, we used to do more than date. >> even kamala is looking for a new gig. she still has her eyes on the white house. but she could settle for governor. >> what she's been saying to people over the last couple of weeks. donors, other supporters that she's been talking with is. you haven't seen the last of me. i'm not going quietly into the night. advisers, people close to her are debating about what that means. they look at this governor's race in california in 2026, and it seems to them like a layup, essentially, that she would probably clear the field or mostly clear the field, and she would get to be governor of
10:28 pm
california. >> kamala may have lost all seven battlegrounds, but she still considers it a win. >> our spirit is not defeated. we are not defeated. let's be clear about that. we are strong. we are clear about why we are in this. and because you're here right now, i say again, thank you. because not only are you clear about all of that, you're willing to put in the hard work, and that work must continue. >> biden in one last screw you to the party that said, kamala is not going anywhere. >> she always served this country with purpose and integrity, and she always will. and you're not going anywhere, kid, because we're not going to let you go. not going anywhere. >> then biden started pouring it on real thick. >> she really did a hell of a job. i really mean it. and the thing i most admire about
10:29 pm
working with all of you, you have great integrity, great integrity. you've stuck with the deal. you've been honest. you've been decent. we've run we've run a campaign and basically scandal free. >> the democrats stole his nomination, then bilked the donors to pay off celebrities. besides that scandal free, kamala is still begging democrats for money, asking donors to sign a thank you card for her and put some cash in the envelope. but all the money in the world can't make up for what trump pulled off through earned media. after dodging rogan, kamala's team tried getting her on other podcasts, but one of her top campaign managers said none of the other hosts wanted to talk to her. he said democrats are losing hold of culture, but pelosi's not losing her grip on anything. nancy just pulled off another coup, this time against aoc. the queens congresswoman was campaigning for the top spot on the oversight committee, but pelosi took a hard fall and busted her hip. she's getting a
10:30 pm
new one and we wish her well. but even while she's laid up at a german hospital, she still has it. we're hearing aoc just got kneecapped and a 74 year old pelosi lieutenant is going to come out on top. but with pelosi recovering, biden retiring and obama on the outs, the lanes wide open to take over the party. this means war. and this means adam carolla. he's the host of the adam carolla show. i love how joe biden, adam is like telling the democrats, i endorsed kamala and you guys are stuck with her. she's going to be around here for a long time. >> yeah, joe will be long gone and will be stuck with her like like herpes. >> it'll never she'll never go away. it's also funny that she still asking for money. it's really like sending a note out to your friends saying, i'm
10:31 pm
getting divorced. here's where i'm registered. >> and but you know what? she still thinks she can run. i don't know if the donors are on that side. if i handed out that kind of money and she was just handing it to oprah, i wouldn't open my wallet again. >> yeah, i don't think we're going to have any use for kamala harris type of politician in the new world order. i think from now on, it's got to be real. no more faking it. no more jenny from the block. no more. i grew up in oakland. no more. i worked at mcdonald's. it's. you're going to have to be real. you may be different than trump, but you're going to have to be as real as trump. from this point on. i think that's where we're at as a society. >> so maybe aoc is going to be their next nominee. that is, unless nancy pelosi just keeps her head buried underground. >> i don't think they're going to have any success with the old playbook. i think they're
10:32 pm
going to have to find some fetterman style guy, you know, some guy or some girl that it's at least authentic. like you may agree, you may disagree, but that's exactly who they are. >> you're probably right. that rules out mayor pete buttigieg, who i don't know if i was on a flight and he started handing me bags of planters. i don't know if i'm down with that. >> well, if buttigieg comes up behind me and offers me nuts, i am going to be scared for a moment. >> all right, i'm kicking you off this flight, carolla. that's enough. you're going to have to listen to his podcast from here. have a great evening, great night, and behave yourself. >> thank you. >> george stephanopoulos owes trump $15 million right back. >> everywhere but the seat. the seat is leather. oh, we get it. >> you love your bike. we do

justice over the weekend. abc news and george stephanopoulos had to say sorry to trump and shell out $15 million. stephanopoulos falsely accused trump of rape. they were about to go through depositions, and abc did not want to start discovery and hand over emails, so they paid. we're being told the money will go to help build trump's presidential library. biden's not getting a presidential library, and abc's already building trump's. the media is on high alert. brian stelter says the press better be honest or they'll go broke. >> the media lawyers are worried about this. they're preparing for it. >> they are preparing their newsrooms for it with the expectation of more lawsuits, more leak investigations, more subpoenas in the months and years to come. now, as you said, $15 million for trump's future museum. i imagine there will be an abc news haul of fake news. you know, there will be some attempt attempt to troll as a result of this. >> the media is upset because they're not allowed to say whatever they want about trump anymore, whether it's true or
10:39 pm
not. >> i think it's problematic for the ability of the press to cover public figures. this is a case in which donald trump is the most public of all figures, and it didn't meet what george stephanopoulos said, in my opinion. and those who believe in free speech, like person to my right, joe, we want to keep some penumbra where you get to say things about public figures, cabinet nominees like pete hegseth and kash patel are suggesting that they, too, could take people to court over what's been said about them. >> even pollsters are on notice. ann selzer from the des moines register, who put out a suppression poll on the eve of the election that had kamala up three. she lost iowa by 13. she might have to be held accountable. >> i'm doing this not because i want to. i'm doing this because i feel i have an obligation to. i'm going to be bringing one against the people in iowa, their newspaper, which had a

very, very good pollster who got me right all the time. and then just before the election, she said i was going to lose by 3 or 4 points. and it became the biggest story all over the world because i was going to win iowa by 20 points. the farmers love me and i love the farmers, and it was interesting the way she did it. she brought it down two weeks before. she said i was going to only win by four. that was a big story. >> democrats and the media created a corrupt bubble. it was emotionally cozy until it popped on november 5th. >> we woke up in a body bag on election day and didn't even know it. why? because we thought that because cnn, npr, new york times, all of the mainstream media was pretty much beating the hell out of trump that trump was getting the hell beat out of him. the mainstream media is actually now by the numbers. >> the french and the french can't hold an audience. after comcast announced it was

spinning off msnbc. and now warner brothers is reportedly looking to spin off cnn, which is currently getting beaten by the cartoon network. public news founder michael shellenberger joins us now. all right, mike, so this is a big story. 15 million from abc. and george, probably not from george's kitty, but mostly from disney going to pay trump to build his library because they were so defamatory. >> well, and keep in mind that this is the media that had been advocating for a significant amount of censorship of their competitors on social media platforms for a very long time. so in that sense, it's justice. i personally appreciate that we have a very high as a journalist and as a citizen, a very high bar for defamation. so it's not my favorite way to deal with it. me too. so, you know, in that sense it's not great. on the other hand, it is i think it is telling that they decided to settle this case rather than open themselves up to disclosure, which would have potentially revealed a lot more that they didn't want to get into. >> you just want rationality. you don't want to be able to

say whatever you want maliciously about a public figure and just have no consequences. and these consequences, financial consequences at a time when the media is not doing that well, do you think that's going to change the culture in the newsroom? >> i think it already has. i mean, you're seeing much more balanced coverage now than we did in 2017. certainly. i mean, it was i mean, look, it was a woke reign of terror is what we've been calling the last 12 years. if you sort of start with black lives matter protests in 2013 and you go to say, the end of this year, it's been 12 years of a kind of public panic, a kind of moral panic by the elites. it does feel like it's settling down to some more rationality. so we'll see. >> we've broken the fever, we believe, but we're not going to diagnose it officially. we are going to say that the drone situation is off the rails. here's john kirby just a little while ago. >> to date. our assessment is that this is lawful legal, commercial, hobbyist and even law enforcement aircraft

figure out where they were standing, what time of day, where they were looking to be able to dismiss all of these cases. you know, look, people do make mistakes. i think there's been a lot of mistaken sightings without question, maybe a vast majority of them. but, i mean, we had a we were we had we obtained a the conference call between the white house and new jersey mayors today. the mayors are livid. one of them got up there and said, i had two automobile sized drones hovering over my house, and they're making a lot of noises, as opposed to a jet plane a very long distance away. so, you know, i think it's a remarkable situation to have trump demanding this. i think we can count on some transparency now. >> so just to be clear, a hobbyist cannot buy an automobile sized drone and hover it over a member of congress house. to be clear, that does not happen. >> inconceivable, inconceivable. >> all right. thank you very much. you can't get that at radio shack. shellenberger, good to see you. good to see you, jesse. they're probably going to abduct his shoes. shawnee goes to santacon. >> have you been naughty or nice this year?
