11:00 pm
cough, drop some little intern, just run up and get him something. god. david from sunbury, pennsylvania. i noticed you held your pinkie up when you ate that donut on the five. did i? it's fine. doesn't mean anything. craig from lexington, south carolina. pete's hair didn't move when he did that push up. would yours? it depends how much spray i have in it. jerry from lancaster, new york. how many people does it take to read through all of your text messages? you know, you're right. we do read them all, and we do not sift them in any way. you'd have to ask my team, because that's not something that i do anymore. i've graduated to hosting. i'm watters and this is my world.
11:01 pm
>> and welcome to hannity. and tonight, momentum surrounding the incoming trump white house is picking up speed. the once constant hate hysteria is dissipating right in front of your very eyes. democrats, republicans, business leaders and world leaders, they are all now coalescing around the president elect and are eager to work with his incoming administration. now, the only so-called resistance that trump still faces is coming from inside the biden administration, which has some of the lowest approval numbers in the history of our country. we're going to bring you more on all of the ways that biden is attempting to sabotage the incoming president elect, who was given a huge mandate by you, the american people. first, the vibe shift. that's real. the trump agenda has widespread support. his approval numbers are now above water for the very first time. even our old friend van jones from fake news cnn, he's heaping praise on trump's ability to connect with
11:02 pm
americans, admitting the obvious he's smarter than they are. and he is. take a look. >> we are way off. the entire political class is way off. first of all, digital is a new door knocking. you got to understand that we were laughing our butts off at donald trump for suspending his door knocking campaign and letting charlie, kirk and ellen do a bunch of stuff online. we said, these guys are idiots. these guys are stupid. then you start knocking on these doors. you know what? people come to the door with their phone in their hand. the mainstream has become fringe, and the fringe has become mainstream. there are platforms. there are people out there that are getting 14 million streams, and we're on cable news getting 1 or 2 million. and so there is a whole world out there. kellyanne conway i hate to agree with her, but i do. a lot of times donald trump understood that and we didn't. >> credit to van jones. the praise doesn't stop there. mitt romney, who once obviously
11:03 pm
hated donald trump, now crediting the president elect with expanding the republican party, something he himself could not do. take a look. >> do you still think there's going to be a post-trump republican party, or is maga now the republican party? oh, maga is the republican party, and donald trump is the republican party today. look, the republican party has become the party of the working class, middle class voter. and you've got to give donald trump credit for having done that. taking that away from the democrats, unlike the current administration, trump is putting you, the american people, the hard working people that get up every day, work hard, play by the rules, pay their taxes, obey the laws, take their kids to church. >> yeah, you're the you're the people that make this country great. and that is part of the america first agenda, telling americans the truth. and during a press conference earlier today, donald trump showed why he now has a mandate both at home and abroad. listen to his response about iran and nuclear
11:04 pm
weapons. >> are you entertaining the idea of preemptive strikes against iran's nuclear facilities? >> against who? against iran's nuclear facilities? >> i'll tell you that. >> would you? i mean, it's a wonderful question, but how can i? am i going to do preemptive strikes? why would i say that? can you imagine if i said yes or no? you'd say that was strange that he answered that way. am i going to do preemptive strikes on iran? is that a serious question? how could i answer a question like that? >> that is the perfect answer. that is a perfect example of peace through strength. and let me answer it for the president. the iranians know that he's more than capable and willing of doing such without drawing red lines or committing to some kind of new war. now, back at home, president trump is also truthful and direct when it comes to the mystery of these flying objects over the northeast. take a look.
11:05 pm
>> the government knows what is happening. look, our military knows where they took off from. if it's a garage, they can go right into that garage. they know where it came from and where it went. and for some reason, they don't want to comment. and i think they'd be better off saying what it is our military knows and our our president knows. and for some reason, they want to keep people in suspense. i can't imagine it's the enemy, because if it was the enemy they'd blasted out, even if they were late, they'd blasted. something strange is going on for some reason. they don't want to tell the people, and they should, because the people are really. i mean, they happen to be over bedminster. we want to know the truth. they're very they're very they're very close to bedminster. i think maybe i won't spend the weekend in bedminster. have you been? i've decided to cancel my trip. >> have you received an intelligence briefing on the drones? >> i don't want to comment on that. >> now, if your government didn't know. now, think about this. if they didn't know. and the first sighting was nearly a
11:06 pm
month ago, don't you think there'd be a greater sense of urgency? look, i truly believe i hope donald trump is right. that lack of urgency and inaction surrounding the drones would be pretty scary if they're actually a mystery to our government, to our military, and our intelligence community. think about that. how scary would it be if your government, our military, our intelligence apparatus did not know where these drones came from, who's operating them and what their capabilities are. they are the size of school busses. this is not the baby drones that your neighbor might fly around the neighborhood as a hobby or camera. drones that are used by news organizations like fox news. the better option is the biden administration is doing what they usually do, and that's lie to you. they lied about the chinese spy balloon. they lied about joe's cognitive decline. they lied about inflation being transitory. they lied about the borders being secured. they
11:07 pm
lied and told you that if you get the shot, the vaccine will prevent you from ever getting or transmitting covid. and of course, they lied about the biden family syndicate. not once did i ever meet with my son, brother, or anybody for that matter about their foreign business deals. but it's better than them not knowing as they're now claiming. now it's better that they're lying. in ohio, a critical u.s. air force base. they're closed their airspace because of these unidentified drones. in new york, senator chuck schumer requested was granted special drone detection technology. lawmakers on both sides of the aisle have raised serious alarm bells about these airborne objects. but the federal government's messaging, it's here and they're everywhere. and complete denial. if this is some kind of test from the government, they need to own up to it. they need to be honest with all of you. if this is some kind of other security
11:08 pm
operation, they need to tell all of you, the american people, if we're in danger, we have a right and we need to be notified. it is completely, totally unacceptable for our government to play dumb the way they are. now, there is a clear pattern of dishonesty from the administration, even when american lives could be at stake. so you know enough of the act. it's time joe biden, kamala harris come clean and for once, embrace just one time honesty. we'll have much more from trump's presser throughout the show tonight. but joining us now, first, south carolina senator lindsey graham is with us, senator. look, you're as involved in in homeland security and national security as anybody in washington. do you know anything about these drones? >> well, i know this that the people telling you you have nothing to worry about are the same people in charge of the border? it's not so much lying. it's incompetence. the only way we'll ever convince the
11:09 pm
american people what's going on here is to have the trump administration level with you. i don't know what's going on. i've never been more worried about an attack on the homeland than i am right now. the border is completely broken. we've got a chance to control our border early on in congress. i hope we're smart enough to take it. we're playing russian roulette with our national security. but this is a combination of years of being lied to and incompetency coming together. why are all these sightings in november? there's something new going on. this was the people telling us about. the drones have lived there all their lives, so there's something new going on. what is that? something new? and why is it around military bases? >> yeah. well, okay. the governor of new jersey, a democrat, says they are sophisticated. and the moment you put eyes on them, they go dark. okay. then we had another congressman saying they they tend to cluster and then separate. they'll move forward. they'll move backwards. not the
11:10 pm
movements that an aircraft would normally make or be able to make. so there's something going on here. if it is sophisticated, it seems to me that they have to know, otherwise there would be a greater sense of urgency. now, i'd rather be lied to if the option is that they don't know which to me would be a national security disaster and failure, or they do know and just they're not telling us and lying to us. i prefer the lie part, although i don't like being lied to. >> yeah, well, your problem is, how do you know when they're lying versus when they're incompetent? they said the border was. >> well, is that a quiz? is that. >> yeah. are they are they lying when they open up their mouth or are they incompetent when they open up their mouth? i mean, they told us the border was secure. that's clearly that's a lie. their policies don't work. and they try to tell you things that just are not credible. why is this going on now? the people telling us about the drones recording this
11:11 pm
information have lived there for years. this is something new, something the size of a bus or an suv is not something you buy off the shelf. it's not a hobby. so i don't want to alarm anybody. i just don't buy this. i don't trust these people to tell me the truth. and i can't wait to. president trump gets in office. we've got to secure that border. we're talking about drones today. what about terrorists on the watch list here in the largest numbers ever. what about a broken border where 13 million people have come into our country? what about lack of bed space to keep them in, in custody, having to turn them loose? what about the lack of agents to deport them? what about building the wall? the number one priority of the republican party should be to secure your border. you had a piece right before i came on saying, people trust trump. world leaders are rallying around him. he has credibility. let me tell you this to the republicans. if we don't deliver on the border, we're going to lose that credibility. it was the number one position of president trump to secure
11:12 pm
our border on day one. if we don't do that on day one, we're making a huge mistake. >> we'll get into more in the next segment on this. but why is joe biden selling off, you know, the remainder of the border wall? the taxpayers paid for pennies on the dollar, knowing that donald trump is going to use it or wants to use it on day one, and can that be stopped in your view? >> well, it can be. i talked to senator cotton about this. they're bitter. they're trying to undercut trump building the wall, putting the technology in to secure the border. everything he wants to do, they're against. and to the last minute of the last day, the last hour of the last day, they're going to try to undercut president trump. selling off the border wall is insane. we should not sell it. we should put it up. and they're making sure we have to buy it anew. no respect for the taxpayer. by the way, who paid for that border wall? you did. and they're selling it for pennies on a dollar. why? they don't want to build the wall. they lost the election. they're trying to undercut the man that
11:13 pm
beat them. >> okay. so everything that we're talking about here, kind of very few on the left seem to understand it. i played the comments of van jones. and let me be clear, donald trump is smarter than you, me and all his critics. and when you look at bread and butter issues, americans don't want to pay. you know, as much as we're paying for a gallon of gasoline, they don't want high inflation. they don't want wide open borders. they don't want to be lied to about joe's cognitive state. the economy borders. they don't want war in europe, and they don't want war in the middle east. and that's what they have delivered. that's where the mandate comes from. this is not as complicated. and i'll tell you one other thing. they don't want taxpayer funded sex change operations for illegals, and they don't want woke in their public schools, and they don't want gender affirming care without parental consent. you want me to keep going? >> well, you can go and go, but here's what you should ask the republican party. where are you going to do about it on day one? i'm working with stephen miller to come up with the most
11:14 pm
transformational border security bill in the history of the country. we need to change our energy policy on day one. we need to open up american land for drilling for oil and gas that we own. to make us more energy independent. we need to address inflation on day one. we need to cut our taxes this year so they don't expire. the tax cuts don't expire. i'm looking for a very aggressive agenda coming early on in 2025. to my republican friends, if we don't deliver, people will turn on us. we've got a chance to deliver. we better do it. >> okay. please make the tax cuts permanent. include no tax on tips, social security and overtime. that'd be good. keep promises made. keep them all. senator graham, thank you. all right. here with more on the mysterious drone spotted across the country, former acting dhs secretary chad wolf. chad, was donald trump right today when he said, there's no way our military and our government
11:15 pm
doesn't know. for example, i've i've read stories of people with those little baby drones, not the drones, the size of busses. they launched them. and our government is able to know exactly where they were launched from and exactly who's operating them from the get go. is it possible our government doesn't know or are they lying to us? >> well, i think it's actually possible. both of those are correct, but i do think they do know. and how do we know that? right. because they continue to say they they are briefing congressional leaders. and some of those leaders come out of there and say, look, i think there's not a national security threat. so what are they basing that on? they have to be providing them some information and whatever information they are providing, they need to be providing to the american people. i agree with your earlier comments in your monologue where this is about credibility and this is about transparency. and unfortunately, the biden administration is lacking in both of those with the american people. and i think this is what this is. this is the issue
11:16 pm
and this is the heart of the issue. be transparent with the american people. if you don't know everything, that's okay. but tell them what you do know, because in the absence of that, you're going to start to, you know, really concern a lot of people. and this has been going on for over a month now. something is definitely going on here. and you can't tell the american people that it's nothing. they just need to go on with their business. they want to know and they have a right to know. >> okay, you had a dhs. what are the possibilities? could there be, you know, a possibility of a radiation leak in the country? could there be a possibility of that? they're doing reconnaissance of some kind. could there be a national security threat? and those drones are being used to find out intelligence. and there are drones. is there any possibility that they really don't know? i mean, you seem to think, no, i've listened to the comments of people that have been briefed and they seem to come out of there being frustrated and angry that they've been told nothing. >> i think it's a combination.
11:17 pm
i think they don't have all of the facts. so they're not they're not obviously explaining everything. i think one of the theories is they're testing capabilities. they're testing vulnerabilities at critical infrastructure sites and elsewhere. at least during my time in government, a lot of that testing would not occur in such a populated space with with restricted airspace as they have there in new jersey. so i'm not sure. and usually that testing doesn't occur over a month period either. so i think there's probably a couple of different things going on here. but what we do know is the biden administration just hasn't been quick enough to either ascertain what is going on and talk to the american people about it. clearly, something is happening here, but they need to step forward. they need to provide that information to the american people, you know, foreign adversaries, things of that nature. i would hope, if that's what it's actually, that the president would brief the american people about that. but i think one thing is very, very clear. if president trump was in office, he would be at that podium, he would be on social media, he would be talking about what this is and what
11:18 pm
this isn't. and that's what the american people are craving right now. >> okay, chad, why are these questions so simple? i want to know who launched the drones, where are they being launched from, who's operating the drones, and what are the capabilities of the drones? are they capable of surveilling sensitive military areas, or do they have payloads of any kind on them? those those seem to be fundamental questions to me. >> i think that's right. and look, faa has the ability to know what's up in the sky and what's up in the air, whether it's a manned aircraft, which i've heard, you know, they say is the case, but also drone capabilities. and it's one thing to detect these, these drones. the other thing is what are you going to do about it. that's the other half of the equation again, that the government's not talking about is if they are flying over critical infrastructure, military bases are in restricted airspace. it's one thing again, to detect, but what are you going to do about it. and that's that's critically important as well. and again they're not providing
11:19 pm
any information. they have capabilities to do something with them. so this tells me that they're not sure what what exactly is going on. otherwise i think you would be hearing a little bit more about the nature of them, where they're coming from, who's controlling them, and really what what they look like and what they're capable of. >> it's i never thought i'd be discussing it. how long do you think it will take the president, the incoming president, to be able to finish that border wall? and do you think how hard a job is it going to be to find the known terrorist cartel members, murderers, rapists, gang members that we know are in the country? how do you find them? >> yeah, well, he's going to secure the border. we know that pretty quickly. he's going to restart border wall construction, probably looking at another 200 to 250 miles of border wall. and i think they have the know how they know how to do it pretty quickly. we demonstrated that during the first term, and the ability to find those criminal aliens that are here in the united states
11:20 pm
and deport them with tom homan and others, i think they have the ability to do that. ice removal officers and ice specifically has a very sophisticated targeting operation where they know where they are and they can target them, particularly if they're committing crimes while they're here in the united states, and the ability is to remove them. and once you start to remove these individuals, they will stop coming to the united states because they don't want to be returned. they don't want to sit in jail and then be returned to their home country. so a lot of this is about deterrence, and we haven't had any of that in almost four years. >> all right, chad wolf, appreciate you being with us. thank you sir. when we come back, joe, is joe biden. is he now outwardly trying to just sabotage donald trump and his incoming administration? we'll explain. we get reaction. senator ted cruz and abc george stephanopoulos, little georgie, they have apologized to donald trump, and they've agreed to pay millions to settle a defamation suit. incoming white house press secretary caroline leavitt is here with the latest as we continue.

(800) 801-1737. >> kamala not taking the hint. >> she's ready to get back in the fight for 28 as she
11:26 pm
you today to find how you can help make the world a better place. >> all right, joe, kamala, they are not going quietly. they did host a holiday reception for dnc staffers after a bunch of them got fired after promising to keep fighting for america. kamala reportedly saying, we are not defeated. they have
11:27 pm
been defeated anyway. donald trump has a huge mandate, but now joe, kamala, they are now trying to sabotage the incoming administration in a multitude of ways, frankly, just out of spite. this includes an escalation of the ukrainian conflict in a major way. new airstrikes in syria, all while knowing that donald trump wants negotiated settlements in 36 days. and at the last minute, they're suddenly giving new work from home contracts for years to tens of thousands of federal employees. and they're spending federal money as quickly as possible. spend every dime. the chief of staff of joe biden sending out and selling off parts of the border wall, as we discussed with lindsey graham for pennies on the dollar today, donald trump responded to that idiocy. take a look. >> but now we had we ordered an additional 200 miles of wall. it's very expensive. and now it's about double the price of
11:28 pm
what it would have been six years ago. and the administration is trying to sell it for $0.05 on the dollar, knowing that we're getting ready to put it up. and what they're doing is really an act. it's almost it's almost a criminal act. so i'm asking today, joe biden, to please stop selling the wall. we're going to use that to create a strong barrier. and it worked. that's why our numbers were so good. it really worked. and it worked well. and it's very expensive to do. and i'm asking joe biden to stop his people from giving it away. it's a it's something that people can't even believe is happening. so hopefully joe will be able to stop it. >> by the way, by doing this, joe, he's not hurting donald trump. this hurts the country. trump will replace the border wall, the materials that they're selling off, and all of you, every taxpayer, you will be forced to pay twice for this
11:29 pm
wall and now you'll be paying a lot mork in the swamp in d.c, bernie sanders is now calling on biden to issue preemptive pardons to anyone who could be considered an enemy of donald trump's. by the way, here's my message to joe. go ahead. issue your preemptive pardons. the power of the pardon is absolute. do it for your allies. it will give trump more time to focus on issues like securing the border, fixing the economy, energy independence, restoring america's place in the world, fixing the economy, inflation. and by the way, joe, don't forget to pardon yourself. also, the restaurant worker we told you about last week who told that local magazine, the washingtonian, that they might refuse to serve trump officials? yeah, that person has been fired. the restaurant telling fox news digital that she was fired for violating their zero tolerance policy on discrimination. here with more
11:30 pm
texas senator ted cruz. senator, great to have you. welcome back, sir. so donald trump says it's criminal. do you agree with that number one? number two, he said he spoke to the attorney general of texas, governor abbott of texas, and he spoke to both senators of texas. did you have a call with donald trump? i've spoken to him many times. i haven't spoken to him today. >> but i'll tell you what. what the biden administration is, is doing is brazen. >> understand joe biden and kamala harris and the democrats, they are filled with rage and they hate donald trump. we know that, but they hate the voters. >> they are angry at the voters for how the american people voted on election day. and they are trying, with bitterness to do everything to frustrate the will of the voters. so on the pardons, they're trying to do everything they can to frustrate the administration of justice. >> and i got to say, on the question of selling off the border wall, this is one of the most offensive things i've ever seen.
11:31 pm
>> let me give you an analogy. let's say you're you're a sheriff, you're an elected sheriff, and you get beat, you get beaten. so there's a new sheriff coming into office, and let's say you have ten squad cars that are $50,000 a piece. >> and on your last week in office, you decide i'm going to sell all the squad cars for 100 bucks each, because i hate the sheriff that beat me. >> and i want to make sure the new sheriff has no squad cars. let me tell you what that is. that is theft of government resources. let me be very clear to every official at the department of homeland security or anywhere else who approves selling off incredibly expensive portions of the border wall for $5 a piece. you are engaged in theft of government property, and you should expect the department of justice to investigate you and prosecute you. this is a brazen abuse of power, and it reflects the views of this white house and democrats across the board. >> okay, so they're going to sell off parts of the wall. they seem to be wanting to pack
11:32 pm
the. doj with basically a deep state and to sabotage donald trump. they're escalating war in europe, war in the middle east. they're trying to appoint every radical judge they can ram through. they're pushing forward billions of dollars in student loan forgiveness, in spite of a supreme court ruling. they're doing the commutations and pardons at a level we've never seen before. by the way, some of these pardons of pennsylvania judge who took bribes to send kids to a for profit detention center, an illinois clerk embezzling over $53 million from a town of 15,000 people, and then 42,000 workers that work in the social security administration, you know, working with their unions so that they don't have to go to work every day like the rest of america, and they can work from home, or they can work remotely. so it seems like it's sabotage to me. am i reading it
11:33 pm
wrong? >> you're not joe biden, and the democrats are telling the american people, number one, we, the democrats, we stand with the crooks, with the pardons. i think they're going to try to pardon everyone they can think of. they are terrified of actually having the rule of law applied to them with respect to foreign policy. they're shoveling cash out the door with respect to domestic policy. every grant program they're trying to pay off, every single crony of the democrat party. now, i'll tell you, i'm sitting down with many of the incoming trump cabinet members. i'm telling them, scrutinize every dollar that goes out the door, halt it before it goes, the policies. you look at the federal government, i'll tell you, everyone at home. let me ask you, the folks at home, do you all go to work in the morning? because i'll tell you, in the private sector in america, in texas, we go to work in the morning and the federal government, it is stunning. five and 10% of federal workers are showing up to work. you go to a government building in washington, d.c, and they are empty. and what what are joe

biden and the democrats saying? we want to lock it in. we want to ensure their lawsuits, because i'll tell you, donald trump, when he comes in with his new cabinet, they're going to tell federal workers, you either show up to work or you're fired. and what joe biden is trying to do is set up lawsuits for the workers who don't want to come to work to be able to sue the federal government. and they're basically robbing the taxpayers. and i got to ask you, if you're a democrat, i understand if you're a partizan democrat, you don't like the results of this election, but is there any democrat who has any sense of respect for democracy? let me ask you, sean, have you seen one democrat senator say this is wrong? i don't like the results of the election, but it's wrong for the outgoing administration to try to frustrate it. no, they don't care. you know, last week in the senate judiciary committee, you know what we had a hearing on? we had a hearing on why we need more open borders and even more illegal immigration. it's like they ignored the election altogether. they heard nothing from the voters. and i got to say, it's just sad what we're
11:35 pm
seeing. >> all right. what do you think of this idea of preemptive, preemptive pardons? well, do you agree with me that the power of the pardon is absolute? >> it is as a constitutional matter, and it's an enormously broad power. it is a dangerous power. you know, as you know, i do a podcast every week called verdict with ted cruz. i did a deep dive on on trump's, or rather, biden's pardons, how broad they are, and all of the democrats, all of the corporate media that are calling on him to pardon everyone involved in illegality, everyone involved in the biden family obviously started with hunter biden. i don't think he's done there. but but to pardon democrats across the board, i got to say that is lawless. we've never seen a president do that. and at some point people have got to ask, do you have a respect for rule of law? you know, i've sat down in the last week with, with the nominees for, for attorney general, for head of the fbi, for deputy attorney
11:36 pm
general. i can tell you all three of them sat in my office and said, we will be committed to the rule of law. we're not going to have a republican department of justice. we're not going to have a democrat department of justice. we are going to enforce the law regardless of party. and that scares the living daylights out of biden and harris and all the democrats, because apparently, their conduct, they believe, would be criminal unless they get a presidential pardon. i hope somebody in the democrat party says, let's not be the party of brazen corruption, because that's what joe biden's white house is saying right now. >> all right, senator cruz, great to have you. and i hope you can stop what they're trying to do, selling off the border wall. i hope the governor, i hope the ag in texas can do that. >> by the way, i was proud of dan patrick, the lieutenant governor, who said, texas is going to buy those wall segments. that is a great thing for the state of texas to be doing. >> it is a great thing. god bless texas. thank you senator. all right. breaking news over the weekend that put the legacy
11:37 pm
media on notice. abc news agreed to pay a whopping $15 million to president trump's presidential library and museum to settle a defamation suit. the network also issued an apology at the bottom of an online article. it reads this quote abc news and george stephanopoulos regret statements regarding president donald j. trump that he made during an interview by george stephanopoulos with congresswoman nancy mace on abc's this week on march 10th, 2024. today, during his press conference, donald trump well warned other legacy state run media mob outlets. take a look at this. >> she's got me right always. she's a very good pollster. she knows what she was doing. and she then quit before. and we'll probably be filing a major lawsuit against them today or tomorrow. we're filing one on 60 minutes. you know about that. where they took kamala's answer, which was a crazy answer, a horrible answer. and they took the whole answer out and they replaced it with
11:38 pm
something else, she said later on in the interview, which wasn't a great answer, but it wasn't like the first one. the first was grossly incompetent. it was weird. and that was fraud and election interference by their news magazine, a big part of cbs news. so as you know, we're involved in that one. we're involved in one, which has been going on for a while and very successfully against bob woodward. >> all right. here with more is the next white house press secretary. she will make history as the youngest ever in history. caroline leavitt is with us again. congratulations, caroline. thanks for being with us. what the president is saying there, if you look at, for example, a poll by a democratic activist, des moines register just days before the election, it could have an impact. how monies are spent in those final, critical, crucial days. you might have to pull money out of a swing state at that point to shore up a state that might be going a little
11:39 pm
wobbly, which would be pretty common. now. it turned out that there was an emerson poll that had donald trump up by ten. matt towery, insider advantage did a poll that came out a day or two later and that was up. i think donald trump was up by 7 or 8. and so that mitigated this particular poll. but there are things the media can do that i think you could analyze as being an in-kind contribution or just flat out lying and defamation that happens, which is quite often with them. >> absolutely. and nobody cares about the freedom of the press, sean, more than president elect donald trump. and you saw that today in his nearly 90 minute press conference at mar a lago, where he took questions from the legacy media. but also, nobody has exposed the corrupt institution of the mainstream media more than donald trump, especially over the past eight years, as they have pushed knowingly false lies, hoaxes
11:40 pm
and smears about him and this lawsuit with abc that they now have to pay 15 million bucks to the presidential library, which will be fantastic for the american public, is just the latest example. don't forget, during the debate on the campaign trail between kamala harris and donald trump, abc pushed false statistics about crime data, which the fbi a few days later debunked. and so this is just one of many lies. and i see this every day in my job. sean. the mainstream media journalists act as sheep, writing what their editors tell them to write and their editors tell them how to write it. we are not going to tolerate that anymore. president trump will not tolerate defamatory statements. you cannot go on the airwaves and push knowingly provable, false lies about him. you will be held accountable with litigation, and i will also hold him accountable as his press secretary behind the podium. >> to me, the worst example of this is when the fbi was meeting on a weekly basis in the months leading up to the
11:41 pm
2020 election, and according to mark zuckerberg, for example, admitted all of it. he said, yeah, they were putting a lot of pressure on us about what we should say about covid, what they would say about the new york post article about hunter's very real laptop, an issue that had an impact, according to polls on that election and the idea that the fbi would put, you know, cinder blocks on the scale of an election like that is i don't that can't happen in this country. and the problem is, is they had authenticated the laptop in march of, of 2020. they knew it was real. but their meeting with big tech saying you got to be careful of russian disinformation. that about hunter and joe biden. the information comes out. zuckerberg and then twitter at the time asked is that information accurate in the in the new york post or not? and they knew it was was totally accurate and they didn't tell them what they knew. so they
11:42 pm
definitely put cinder blocks on the scale of that election. in my view. >> absolutely. it was blatant election interference. the federal government colluded with big tech and the mainstream media at the time to censor this story. that would have been very damaging to then candidate joe biden. we also saw this with the russia russia, russia hoax that reporters who knowingly put false information on the pages of big newspapers in this country for print, won pulitzer prizes for their journalism, which ended up to be a massive farce that was paid for by hillary clinton and the democrat party. and so the american people are fed up. they're sick and tired of these lies. that's why president trump just won this election with a resounding mandate from the american people. and all we're asking for, sean, is truth and fairness and honesty. it's okay for the press to hold people in government accountable. that's what they are for. that's why the freedom of the press, again, is so beautifully enshrined in the first amendment of the united
11:43 pm
states constitution. but you cannot go out and push known lies and defamatory statements about the leader of the free world. president trump won't tolerate it, and neither will i. >> all right, caroline, look forward to your time. i hope you change. maybe the seating in the white house briefing room. that would be pretty interesting to watch, too. you can put that legacy media that is influence free. put them in the back rows. all right. when we come back, donald trump has weighed in on how some on the left are now trying to turn the united health care ceo killer into a hero. we're going to show you what he had to say. we'll get reaction from charlie hurt. clay travis. they're straight ahead. >> we want to discover cindy crawford's secret to ageless skin. it's meaningful beauty. created by world renowned cosmetic specialist doctor jean-louis saba, these formulas come from a rare french melon that contains a youth preserving enzyme known as the youth molecule. >> it's kept cindy's skin

11:48 pm
11:49 pm
speech. >> let's go win. >> don't give up. don't ever give up. >> all right. it has been nearly two weeks since the murder of unitedhealthcare ceo brian thompson. and some on the left are still glamorizing the suspected assassin, luigi mangione, prompting this reaction from president elect donald trump today. take a look. >> i think it's really terrible that some people seem to admire him, like him, and i was happy to see that it wasn't specific to this gentleman that was killed. it's just an overall sickness as opposed to a specific sickness. that was a terrible thing. it was cold
11:50 pm
blooded, just a cold blooded, horrible killing. and how people can, like, this guy is a that's a sickness, actually. >> now, meanwhile, filmmaker michael moore also weighed in in an open letter saying that he condemns the murder. but the big parts of the. but but he's not talking about the shooting. instead, moore condemned the health care industry and called the outrage justified before adding, quote, i'm not going to tamp it down or ask people to shut up. i want to pour gasoline on that anger. this is the same idiot that once praised cuba's health care system, saying back in oh seven. in part, quote, if there's one thing that they do right in cuba, it's health care. he couldn't have been more wrong. here, with reaction, outkick founder clay travis and fox news contributor charlie hurt. charlie, start with you. explain to me this obsession with this, this assassin and the idea you know elizabeth warren well, there's only so much people can take,
11:51 pm
seemingly rationalizing and justifying what happened here. >> yeah, it's almost impossible to explain, but it shouldn't surprise us. i don't guess, because after just about every horrible crime like this that we see, if democrats see an opportunity to politicize it and turn it into some sort of wake up call, whether it's trying to go after people's guns or whatever, the issue is that they want to go after. they're not, they never hesitate to politicize it and try to weaponize it to their advantage. and of course, every time you see somebody like bernie sanders or aoc begin by saying, oh, well, i condemn this, but remove everything in the sentence before the but and what you get, that's the true people. that's who these people are. and i think it goes to the heart of their belief that that that people, you know, humans are just pawns and they don't.
11:52 pm
all they care about is their radical partizan agenda. and if it means dancing on the grave of somebody who has been murdered, or in some cases, groups of children who have been murdered, they do not care. they just run for the goalpost. >> yeah. what's your take, clay? >> well, i'm building on what charlie said. >> i think it's an important point. >> i haven't seen anybody on the left demand gun control. >> after the cold blooded assassination of the united health care ceo. >> within minutes of the shooting in madison, wisconsin, there is calls and there are calls for gun control. >> and look, here's the reality. i was just in israel all last week, sean. and you know what? i saw more than i've ever seen anywhere in the united states. people walking around with guns. do you know why? because israel feels like if they are not armed to the teeth at any moment, their entire country can be overrun. and every 18 year old, just about in israel, has got a rifle or a gun on their hip because they all have mandatory
11:53 pm
service. and that actually makes the country of israel safer than it otherwise would be. and building also on this, i think it's important to point out who this guy was, who was killed. his dad was a crane operator in iowa. he was the valedictorian of his high school. i'm talking about the united health care ceo. he went to the university of iowa. he pulled himself up by his bootstraps to rise to the level of ceo there. you see him right there on the screen. he is everything that americans should aspire to be. and the man who killed him, based on all the evidence, is a spoiled brat with every advantage who went to a $40,000 a year high school, who had double ivy league degrees, who had done absolutely nothing with his life so far other than be the rich kid of an incredibly affluent family in baltimore. yet he's the hero of the left, and not the guy who rose from
11:54 pm
son of a grain operator to taking over a huge corporation all on his own ingenuity and all on his own ability. i think we're actually underselling the story of brian thompson overselling the story of his assassin. he's the hero here. he left behind two kids, and as this holiday season moves closer, i think everybody needs to keep that in mind. >> you know, the scary part to me, too, is this rhetoric. now, are we going to see, you know, more of the targeting of ceos like this. and we're seeing a lot of that chatter online. it's pretty scary. all right charlie clay thank you both. when we come back we have new updates on the deadly school shooting in wisconsin from earlier today. that's straight ahead. >> save up to 80% at the jewelry exchange. quarter carat studs 69. huggies 149. tennis bracelets 5.99 per carat, two carat, three stone rings or studs 1990 guaranteed to appraise for double factory direct the jewelry exchange. >> it's a special day of
