have oversight committee will have a sub-committee chaired by representative marjorie taylor greene and a lot of great members will be on the subcommittee. look at federal accountability for each agency and make sure we can put a freeze on some spending and increases that are automatically in place and have performance-based initiatives here. right now, there is no performance, you can stay no matter how poorly you are doing. it takes years, even if you don't come into work, you still get paid. under president trump's veteran mission act we were able to get rid of and fire people who work for va serving our veterans, if they were not performing. that does not happen in others parts of government and that is a big part of it.

relocate federal bureaucracy 0u9 of washington, bureau of land management, department of interior, are better served not in washington. bloat of government makes cost high and causes government spending, we never end programs. look what happened in argentina, new president put draconian reform in, and argentina does not have a deficit now. these are things we can do along with boosting our economy, president trump will unleash american energy and we are going to cause growth, bring down cost of government, lower inflation and bring prosperity to americans across the country. >> carley: avert a government

deadline past friday, some are angry how mike johnson has handled this. what is going on there? >> a lot of people are anxious, we're excited about the trifektsa, having president trump. right now president biden is still in office and democrats still control the senate. we can't get through our state representative who happens to be majority leader, chuck schumer, one of my senators. we are negotiating with a narrow majority and speaker is doing his best to put what we want in. we would like to see our priorities in there. we don't have the votes and interesting to see, look, we would love to see president trump start with a clean slate next year. that will likely not happen. i see some good things in the cr. this is the way government will

be run until republicans take over next year. >> carley: two major questions in limited time, is there enough time to avoid a government shutdown? a /* that is on friday and do you think this anger from conservative members in the republican party today mike jo johnson could hurt his house speaker vote in january? >> hard to say where people are right now, these are difficult negotiations, speaker johnson is terrific guy dealing in as newt gingrich said most difficult speakership in american history. i think we'll get something done, i wish we would have passed all appropriations. that is no fault of speaker johnson, if we had the votes and
2:34 am
republicans could stick together, we would have priorities we want. we need to come together next year or we will not be able to implement trump's agenda. it is important president trump bring the party together next year. >> thank you. >> todd: president biden getting roasted by members of his own party for becoming an afterthought even though he is still president. >> trump is not president yet, a fact getting easier to forget, joe biden seem to be disappearing from the public stage. >> we should only have one president at a time and it is surprising choice to allow it to be donald trump. >> carley: those were obama bros. joe, what do you think about that? where is president biden amid in drone situation, he has not said

anything yet. >> joe: last night another fun night above my house in jersey. donald trump is acting president 32 days before his inauguration, it was he at the reopening of notre dame cotheed ral and he that met with president makcron. he was able to get soft bank to pledge 100 billion with a b in investment. we only hear about joe biden when he is breaking another record for pardons. he went to delaware the yesterday for a five or six day weekend at his beach house. sad ending to a sad presidency and makes you ask the question, who is running the country right now. >> todd: quite a legacy for biden if his own party thinks

he's quit the job. former harris campaign officials there is no value in speaking to mainstream newspapers, saying there is no value in a general election to speaking to "new york times" or speaking to the "washington post" because those readers are already with us. joe, your reaction? >> joe: talk about saying the quiet part out loud. why should we talk to new"new y times" or the post, that is accurate, look at track record of "new york times," they have not endorsed a republican presidential candidate in 64 years. they say, vote for democrats, mcgovern, carter, mondale, kerry and kamala harris and was "washington post" never endorsed a republican ever. leadership is people who think

2:46 am
my solution to mr. baker, if it is debatable whether trans athletes have advantage, make them play against the boys, the men's team. why do every single boy to girl, girl to boy, transitioning athlete play the women? they should play against the men particularly during that exchange earlier, charlie baker, president of ncashes adlt /* -- nbe caa, said it is debatable, charlie baker is a politician, you heard he is hiding behind the federal government thing. he should and he could put a machineidate in. other thing that was absurd to me, he calls them locals, local people are putting on an event employs indianapolis final four,
2:47 am
we are the locals, we should provide a space for women if they are uncomfortable with a trans man in their locker room, we should move the woman out to a different locker room or space, as he called it, which is absurd. a woman like riley gaines participating in a women's event should be protected and it is clooer under charlie baker's leadership, it is not, it is sad and shouldn't be, ridiculous and as kennedy says, he needs to go buy a spine and make this right. >> todd: tone of the country, get pulse and understand where the people are. governing bodies are so woke they can't bend the rules for right speaks volumes.
2:48 am
the focus was supposed to be legalized betting, seems to be some athletes are getting pressured by betters. what should be the solution going forward? this is a big money situation all around, you know that. >> dan: i do, this has been going on a long time. when i was coaching at bowling green, a kid asked what i think. this was before it was legalized and i went off on the kid, i wanted to teach him a lesson. it is more problematic now. in the nba they eliminated prop bets meaning there is bet on play-by-player at indiana, when you have a bet like that, you are betting specifically on player, one of your peers walking around campus and say
2:49 am
that kid does not hit it, now he is subject to threats and that is one thousand percent real. with gambling being legalized, what is going on campus, players being threatened and talked about and not being pressured but being asked about his team, you got anybody hurt? what do you think? it is bad business, when people lose money, they make irrational actions. they do. college kids losing money are going to lead to irrational actions. ome thing i can fully suggest, do what the nba did in college, elim the nat any bets possible on individual players. >> todd: that has to be the solution, this is wrong, you can't have this happening to an

2:58 am
people had such disdain for donald trump in 2016 and 2020. now have done a complete 180. want to have dinner with him and donating a million dollars to the inauguration fund. what is going on here? >> frankly, they saw the mandate he won. he has a majority mandate right through the system, including the popular vote. so they are not stupid. number two, they are basically guaranteed a 21% corporate tax rate. we're not going to have a change there i don't think it's going to go to 15. 21 is pretty good. that takes the heat off of them on tax. real reason trump is going to deregulate federally. that's very good. cool in on all the merger and acquisition suits a lot of legality, changing a lot of the administrative makes for these people. they are saying well, i think i'm going to go suck up with him because he's the guy for sure for the next two years until the midterms. there's no doubting that that's why you are seeing them all fly there not just tech leaders, leaders of countries. everybody is sucking up now
2:59 am
because he is the man. >> carley: so true. probably been saying these things behind closed doors. not as bad. cut taxes good for business. not only that he won the electoral college but the popular vote say it out loud. i mentioned the ceo of tiktok. donald trump recently made comments on tiktok with the potential for sale of the company. take a listen what he had to say that surprised some people. watch this. >> i have a warm spot in my heart for tiktok because i won youth by 34 points. and there are those that say that tiktok has something to do with that tiktok had an impact. and so we're taking a look at it. >> carley: okay. so you have said that you are interested in buying the app. are you still interested and, also, what do you think about what donald trump said there? >> yeah. i don't think trump's going to ignore the fact that congress on a bipartisan basis has claimed that this is chinese spyware and it is and they are going to shut
